As the new Owner of the team, my first order of Business is replacing most of the coaching staff. Ted Lasso and his guys will be here Monday after the Browns game.
At this point Teds gotta be better than Vic.
Can we start talking about what coach Aaron will want with him in Denver next season? Too soon?

Hi guys,
I’m over it!
I’m over after game press conferences with the same quotes over and over ” it’s on me”
& “we’ve got to get better”, save it, your words mean nothing!
Forget Aaron Rodgers ever coming here, this offensive line will force him out of the game mid season, sack after sack after sack!
This franchise is doomed until the Bowlen family sell and move on, a new owner is needed that will clean house from top to bottom and erase the losing culture!
It’s over!
Broncology
This team is so bad, even I deserved to get fired!

Watching this team every single Sunday is like a real life version of the scene from Groundhog Day where the alarm clock rings and “I Got You Babe” wakes up Phil Connors. Their ability to be so consistently below average is astonishing.
Burn the whole thing down to the ground. It’s time. I’m keeping 4 players: Javonte, Jerry, Courtland and PS2. Everyone else is on the table.
OhMaHa
Forgot to ask: I didn’t hear it confirmed by anyone but were the Raiders purposely kicking off short to force the Broncos to return them? If so that strategy worked to perfection; I don’t think a kickoff made it past the 20 once. Just so embarrassing.

I’m too exhausted to rant about the broncos and by this point to tired of listening to how bad it was so let’s change the subject. Can we talk about the classless asshat known as Jackson Mahomes dancing on the WFT #21 Sean Taylor memorial for a TikTok. Patty needs to pull an Aaron Rodgers and cut off his family. That is all for today. Love you guys and your coverage!

Today I accepted that until there is a solid owner in place there are just some foundational issues with this team that won’t be fixed. Hopefully Patton gets us on a good path in the meantime. Until then, it’s 6 more weeks of winter

Let’s be real.
The Denver Broncos are the new Chargers.
Seemingly have all the pieces in place, but find a way to make too many boneheaded decisions and implode to lose games they should win.
The Chargers are the new Broncos, new stadium, a forward thinking head coach, and most importantly a young franchise QB lighting it up every Sunday.
We are now the NFL’s whipping boys and have been for years but didn’t know it.
How embarrassing.
The joke is on us.
I’m A Boliever
Alright, it’s vent time, I guess.
Losing to the Raiders is bad. But losing to a guy head coaching his first ever NFL game is embarrassingly unacceptable. Vic bemoaned Harbaugh and touted his “35 years in professional football” and yet he’s out-coached, out-schemed, & out-planned consistently. It’s horrendous. I believed in Fangio at the start of the season. I wanted him to succeed. He seems like a nice guy, but I’m at the end of my rope. Burn it down, turn the page, and start over, I say. Allbright tweeted about how he’s hearing that the staff is losing the team anyway, so what is there to lose?
My question to you three beacons of hope, positivity, & sanity in an otherwise bleak & bummed out Broncos Country is this: Why not fire Vic, Schurmur, & MacMahon now (or Friday, if the Browns game is that much of a deciding factor) and replace them with Munchak(HC), Shula(OC), & literally any other human with a pulse(ST) respectively? Do you think Paton honestly hasn’t seen all he needs to see from this coaching staff, at this point?
As Mase once said, “it’s just another log on the fire of misery.”
dan birk
hey guys,
people rightfully criticize the coaching, but why does mike munchak always get out unscathed? i know the performance of the offensive line isn’t implicitly on him when teddy holds the ball longer than we’d like and there’s some schematic things that shurmur isn’t doing to help, but i never see any criticism towards munchak.
his crowing achievement here was the development of bolles but he’s regressed this year and we can’t really point to another player that has developed well since he took the job.
kirksmith44
This team is done. The coaching staff needs to go, now, immediately. Fangio might try to call a timeout during his conversation with Paton or throw the challenge flag in Paton’s office when it happens because he clearly doesn’t understand when to use them, but the change needs to happen now.
Now for the players who are not without blame. Teddy is who we thought he was. The offensive line has reverted back to a joke. And that secondary is the most overpaid in the league! How do you pay this much for this result on the back end? Start Sterns over Simmons, bleacher report might have known something, smh.
The Big T
Bleacher Report looking at Mase and pulling ‘that face’ at the moment ?
The Big T
He’s been good, and so has the oline, aside from this game. I thought they had beef with Teddy at one point yesterday, cause they seemed to just watch defenders go right past them
The Big T
I smell a rat…
Could Vic be instructed to destroy this franchise to make it cheaper for someone to buy the team on the cheap? Does win/loss affect price?
I’m clutching at straws I know, but surely a “Defensive Guru” (lmfao) and someone who has been in the NFL this long can NOT be this bad?! Surely?? ?♀️?♀️
Broncojoe
My guys! Long time since I’ve commented, but man, I’m absolutely fed up. You guys mentioned it yesterday, but those challenges were brutal and really the nail in the coffin to any speck of confidence I still had in Vic. Tom McMahon our coach of the game with the onside recovery… sheeeesh. I saw that Vance Joseph is 1-0 when covering as head coach this year, maybe we need to take a look at him this off-season lol. Thanks for the great coverage and finding a way to make us smile even when the train is running off the tracks.
Broncojoe
Side note: the most exciting things to me this season: Javonte Williams and Timmy P and Kendall Hinton. These guys give it their all on every play and seem to be having a play that make me jump off the couch every week. If Vic does get canned (fingers crossed) I hope we take a look at Azani, I know it won’t happen but the way these receivers go out and perform it’s hard to not be hopeful about what he might be able to bring to the table.
Orange&blue4life
Great bar, great food, great tailgate. You guys killed it, I had a blast. As far as the team goes, that was a tough game to watch. The offense sucks, is boring, and at times looked disinterested during the game. And what is the point of keeping Vic? His defense sucks
OhioBroncoElex
Why are we starting a QB that can’t score 30 points in a game? I am fed up! Who cares if Teddy says all the right things at the podium? Who cares if he can complete 70 percent of his passes? Who gives a damn if he turns the ball over less and is safe? None of this matters if he doesn’t take shots down the field and has zero chance of putting 30 points on the board. We need to turn to Drew. I told you guys Teddy is another Flacco/Keenum. Honestly RK and Ben Albright are the only ones that genuinely thought Drew should be the starter this year. You know how to make our defense play to its caliber? SCORE POINTS. Drew can score a TD in two minutes or less. It damn near takes Teddy 5 plus minutes to score. Zero strike factor. Coach Fangio, you better start Drew now. You’ve got nothing to lose…
Blucifers Army
You guys speak about how a game “feels” vs what the overall score looks like occasionally. I want to say watching Javonte Williams whenever he has the ball it just feels good. Even if he doesn’t get much of a gain. I don’t remember at what point during the game it was, but he bounced outside and there was a defender right there and I felt 100% confident he was shedding that tackle and ended up making a big gain out of it.
Also, what do we think Justin Simmons said to the coaches after the game?
Mike Trout
I just want an owner.
larrydennjr
I’ll copy and repost if by some chance you don’t get to this but …. It’s Drew lock time because the season is over because of the mindset of this coaching staff ……. The inability to change and adapt is insane
…when asked about all of Teddy’s turn overs the excuse was …well that’s what happens when you throw all the time you need balance …. That screams U DONT HAVE A QUARTERBACK !!!!!!! …..so if we don’t ! Let drew play and sink or.swim with him
..u guys just said there’s no gummies left on the schedule …. So wth are we doing with teddy ? It’s Drew time …. And it’s time for shurmur to go and be focused on replacing.fangio in the off season
…WE SUCK ! ….and I’m embarrassed Patrick surtain out there playing his Heart out and the offense just caves what is up with Noah FANT this year ! …..
U Kno what if we were competitive and everyone.is.competiing ? Nobody’s job should be safe …. Caden should get snaps at SAFTEY and Albert o when healthy should be te1 like idk what to do our only.hooe.is.in George Patton …. To.get things right this is difficult …..

After the inevitable loss to the Browns on Thursday what are your thoughts on this as a restructure for the remainder of the season: Fire Vic and Shurmur. Make Munch the head coach as he has some experience and was in our final two candidates. Make Shula the OC and let Donatell actually call plays on D. Make Drew the QB. I know the Broncos will wait until much later in the season but to me it seems like the only point in firing a coach midseason is to evoke life and salvage a season. You can do that at 3-4, you can’t in week 15. Worst case we can clean house in January without ever looking back.

All these comments really capture my sentiments well. Just disappointed in the Broncos (again). What’s worse, is they aren’t even fun to watch right now, it’s just boring bad football. I just want to feel like any given Sunday is true with this team again.
Mile High Buckeye
My boys! It’s so frustrating to see the same inept play style every year. Year after year, coach after coach, QB after QB – it’s all the same.
Driving up to the game on Thursday with my dad (who is a Browns fan), and I’m mentally preparing myself for a beat down. I wish I had a better mindset l, but can you blame me? Anyways, I love the pod, and you guys help my work day fly by every day – Thanks for all you do. Cheers fellas!

My boys!
I see there’s already lots of comments, so no stress if this skipped. Personally, I’m still feeling high on Paton. I think he’s played the personnel game this season pretty dang well; he surrounded Vic with “his guys” so that there couldn’t be any excuses that he was hampered by “not being given the proper tools” to run his defense. Fuller is on a one year deal; are there any other notable contracts the Broncos could get out from under after this season?
Also, is it possible for a GM to make decisions about who starts? It looks like Vic is done and we’re entering yet another draft looking for a QB. If this team drops to 3-6 or worse is there a chance Paton could force Drew to start so he can at least get an idea of what he has there?
Thank for your time and the content! Go DNVR, the bar, Broncos country, each Anne every one of you, and Iceman.

Lots of blame is being laid at the feet of Vic Fangio and Pat Shurmur, and rightfully so in most respects, but at what point does Mike Munchak get some criticism? He is supposed to be the best offensive line coach in the NFL. His unit has been the worst on this team through six weeks of play. Lloyd Cushenberry III is not progressing, Dalton Risner has been nothing better than JAG, Graham Glasgow is overpaid, Bobby Massie is decent, and Garett Bolles has regressed. . . . Also, where has Shelby Harris been all season? Why is Justin Simmons repeatedly out of position? . . . It feels like everything is challenging and cumbersome for this team, where the ball never bounces this team’s way. It feels like we have been kicking against the pricks and repaying an insurmountable debt to the football gods since about Week 12 of the 2016 season. I don’t like feeling this hopeless and negative, but that’s the reality of living in a World of Suck. Thanks for getting us through another Groundhog Day. DNVRMY SALUTE!
CyrilFiggis01
This L is tough to swallow for multiple reasons, but most of all because this D was supposed to be elite, and at best they are below average. interior d-line got no push against a not very good Raiders o-line, edge rushers got very little pressure (Von’s biggest contribution was drawing one holding call), and our LB’s and secondary constantly got picked on. Justin Simmons and Kareem Jackson are making shitloads of money to get beat down the seam every game. the silver lining in all of this is now my Sunday’s are freed up and I can play more golf
NDak_Logan
Hey guys Long time no comment. Hope all is well. After Yesterday I CANNOT Watch this team anymore. I might have to wear a blindfold on Thursday just to get through the game. The Broncos have had a lot of injuries these past few years. I remember when Kubiak was our coach and he would give guys rest days and give guys more days to recover. Does Vic do anything like this….? I am just wondering why is there double the amount of Injuries then there normally is for this team. If you could shed some light on this topic “why Injuries are up” and can you pin any of that reasoning on the coaches? Thanks.
Mrs. Quill
Has Teddy considered a full body marshmallow-type suit for protection? After which one of his 17 hits taken do you think he considered maaaaybe getting rid of the ball a little quicker? Excited for Case Keenum vs Brett Rypien this Thursday.
TeeSliceinNorCal
Let’s call it what it is. The Broncos have had low T for the past 5-6 years. Nothing has changed

I’m not an Xs and Os person. I don’t know football in and out. I watch it for the entertainment and to root for my team in the orange and blue. That being said, I can tell you what’s not working: anything. I used to watch every Broncos game assuming we would win, and being moderately disappointed when we lost. Now I assume we are going to lose, and it feels like that’s how every NFL team looks at us. We are getting out coached, out played, and it looks like there’s no fight in 95% of the players (look how Sutton just watched & didn’t even try to tackle after one of the interceptions). Sundays (or game days) are going to get a lot worse without having a competitive team to watch. Orange slices for everyone!
Mile High Till I Die
My boys….Feels sad to say but I’m quitting on the season. I grew up watching the ‘08 Broncos start 4-1 and finish 8-8 and the ‘09 Broncos start 6-0 and finish 8-8. I can’t believe I bought into 3-0 hype this year when this team is complete bogus. We are way too talented to make so many mistakes and have so little heart. Our coaching staff is way too experienced to be this inept. It’s not just that we’re losing, it’s the total lack of passion and energy. Catch me watching actually good football the rest of the season, I’ll check back in with the Broncos in March when draft and free agency rumors start up again. I say we hire Doug Pederson for head coach, pay Kellen Moore double his salary to come be our OC and sell the farm to trade for whoever the best quarterback available is. BURN THE HOUSE DOWN.

I was hoping for better, but wasn’t surprised in the least by what happened yesterday. Once again, there’s something incredibly wrong with this team. Where is the heart? Where is the fire or passion? I had the unfortunate displeasure of being in attendance for both the Ravens AND Steelers debacles. I was planning on traveling down to watch them play Washington originally too, but after those experiences and taking into consideration that I’m not a masochist, I’ve decided to cancel the trip. Pleasure Horse should do a new Broncos song titled “Apathy in October”…I was hoping for so much more, but at this point, it’s time to tear it all down and rebuild from the ground up.
It’s not entirely his fault, but if Teddy comes out and plays poorly again they should make a change just to keep fans interested. I have a feeling Vic is the kind of captain to go down with the ship.
I know you guys shrugged Lock off yesterday on the pod because he didn’t play well against the Ravens. You know who else looked bad against the Ravens? Justin Herbert. Might as well throw him out there in a no pressure situation and see what happens.
