Hypothetical speaking if the Broncos and justin Simmons do work out a long term contract, what player would you guys see the broncos using the franchise tag on and why?

I feel like we haven’t talked enough about what Travis Kelce did to us a couple of games ago, which is the exact same problem we have had for years probably going back to Gronkowski and Hernandez. Do you think we were again exposed, or do you think that was an anomaly for that game?

I wonder if someday there will be a new kind of freak athletic defender that is a kind of safety/linebacker hybrid, built like a tight end, that can cover tiedowns. I imagine he would look a little bit like Darren Waller. Why do you think we haven’t seen that?

The other point I have not heard enough of is how really good players raise the level of those around them, the Michael Jordan effect, and I think we are seeing a version of that with our young stud Lock!

Hey guys, unfortunately I do not have any friends or acquaintances who follow the draft, that being said until I found this podcast I had no outlet or outside points of view.

So mostly for Mase for obvious reasons but Zac and RK (if he’s on today) please explain to me your current and thoughts at the time when the Bucs traded up in the second to select Roberto Aguayo. I was dumbfounded. I commend seeing a problem and swinging for the fences to fix it with a very very good college kicker but come on man!

Sorry if this reopened an old wound Mase but who better to ask than an incredibly knowledge fan.

My boss called me today to tell me he had an extra ticket for a box suite on the 50 yard line for the game on Sunday. I haven’t been to a game since the final Manning-Brady bowl, so I’m stupid pumped. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to sneak over to the Sons of Mile High tale gate before the game and finally get to meet you all.

With the impending off-season nearing, and the potential end of Tom McMahon’s time here, is there anyone specific you’d like to see interviewed for the special teams coordinator position? Also, is it unfair to draw parallels between the way the broncos have treated the Juwann James situation to the way the Jets handled the situation with Kelechi Osemele?

Hey guys I just wanted to thank all three of you for the shirts that my wife got me for Christmas. I wanted to let you guys know that the black DNVR shirt will be put in a display case and hung next to my signed Demarcus Ware jersey. As the season ends and the new year approaches, what do you think should be the Broncos’ resolutions for the next year/season?

Word around the block is that Drew Lock is going to be training with PFM this offseason.
Any info on this?
Also hearing a rumor that the Broncos are going to throw money at Joe Schobert. Him, AJ, Kareem and Simmons handling the middle would be scary ??

Going to be getting a Lock jersey to add to the arsenal.
I know it’s only 4 games but I just can’t help it. Drew lock will take us to the promise land. Could be 2 years could be 10. But he is the guy. If we can get that Vangio D that was in Chicago and lead the league in turnovers we could be unstoppable.

The highest percent of a salary cap that a single player has accounted for an won A super bowl is 13%, Steve Young in 1994. Second place is Tom Brady T 12.3% of the total cap. That is why I believe that KC is moving out of their super bowl window when they pay Mahomes what he will demand.

I believe there are only 2 ways to win a super bowl. Have a cost controlled QB on a cheap rookie contract and go absolutely all in or have a legend under center. Do you think that window is now for Denver and do you agree that paying Mahomes 20% of the cap will take them out of the Super Bowl race for a while?

Thankful for a information packed pod for the birthday yesterday!!! Fun fact that Kwanzaa also starts on the 26th. With all this talk of CHJ leaving where do you think he will land? Does he stay in the AFC in hopes he gets a “revenge” game. I could see another game similar to the one Kareem had against Houston. Love the Podcast guys. Keep up the great work. Been a Broncos fan since 1986 but have lived in San Diego since 1995. We need help on the O line first in the draft. I had hoped we drafted Ryan Ramczyk instead of Bolles but he has come around the last half of the season. Being in San Diego for so long, the community hardly backed the team and fought with Spanos the whole time the NFL told them to upgrade the stadium. San Diego doesn’t deserve a team anymore. So glad I get to listen to Broncos talk all the time now that I found The DNVR!
