The Denver Broncos had their fifth training camp practice on Monday and their first practice in pads. However, the headline was Tim Patrick going down at the start of practice. After practice, Sean Payton said the doctors are looking at Patrick’s left achilles. Russell Wilson, Javonte Williams, Jerry Jeudy and Greg Dulcich took the field for Sean Payton’s offense and went up against Vance Joseph’s defense, featuring Pat Surtain II, Justin Simmons, Zach Allen and Randy Gregory. Who stood out? Who had the best day of camp? How did Russell Wilson look in Sean Payton’s offense?
On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Zac Stevens and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.

It’s been a minute since my last comment and I hope y’all are well! Just catching up on the pod and heard the different takes on Frank Clark’s comments. I wanted to share that I’m firmly in the “love it” camp. The Broncos record of ineptitude in the NFL, the AFC West, and vs the Chefs is an embarrassment for this once storied franchise. Clark’s quip is TRUTH and the team and fan base should stop believing the hype (at training camp, hope springs eternal), put their collective heads down, get to work, and prove it on the damn field.
Go Broncos!

Hello… HANK!
Last season about this time I drank the Hackett Kool-Aid and made a bet, $100 to charity and a public apology that we’d go to the playoffs.
I would like to apologize for my part in building up the Broncos hopes last off-season. Optimism is a two sided sword that can cut the wielder.
To any of my fellow optimist Bronco fans, who I may have similarly hyped up – I’m sorry. The Broncos Foundation got $100 richer, so it’s not a complete loss.
That said, Hank, HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL BAYBAYYY! I need to do my part to get you believing again, and if I have to put my money where my mouth is, so be it.
My proposition is this: I wager that the Broncos take one of the two games against the Chiefs this year.
-If I lose, I will gift a one year DNVR Diehard Membership to a deserving soul, of which there are many.
Additionally, I will come to the DNVR Bar and buy you a Breck Brew, and tell you how smart you are and how much you know ball in person.
– If you lose, you do the same, but with a kicker; You have to announce, live on pod, that you will never express belief or (heaven forbid) fear as it relates to the Chiefs, as long as RK has earmuffs in effect, which we all know, is for all time.
Please suggest any amendments to said wager, I’m in the chat!
Can’t wait for my cold pop, I’m really partial to Avalanche Amber and being told how well I know ball.

With the injury to Patrick, there has been a lot of talk about what WR will step up in his absence. Will it be someone already on the roster or through acquisition? I believe this creates a massive opportunity for our TEs to step up. In particular, I can see both Dulcic and Albert O have increased roles. I know they do not have the same proven track record as Patrick, but they have similar size and skill sets. They are both best used in space versus in-line blockers. I know it isn’t a one-to-one swap, but I am optomistic that Sean Peyton can utilize these assets and maximize their potential. Much love all the way from Fargo, ND.

Shoutout to the new members and to The Count! I’m sure he’ll be bummed to learn about Timmy Pat Pat when he emerges from his slumber, wherever he is.

Hey Guys,
l’m really looking forward to coming down from Edmonton to visit Denver and the DNVR Bar from for Week 1 this season and I wanted to get your input on what you guys think are the top 3 best places to eat in Denver while my wife and I are in town (besides the DNVR Bar of course). Also, any word on when any tickets/info on the Week 1 DNVR Tailgate will be available?
