So I’m sitting here in beautiful San Diego, sipping on a dam good vanilla porter from breck brew , catching up on some dam good podcasts ,and listening to Mase talk about needing a team to come back to San Diego and I agree!
3 years ago I helped some friends move to San Diego and fell in love. They happened to be moving the weekend the broncos faced the chargers on Thursday night. This was a sign! I flew out a few days before them and stayed with his girlfriend and her roommate so I could go to my first Bronco/NFL game. I took both of them as well to the game for letting me stay at their place before my friends got into town. It’s the day before the game, I drop off my stuff at the girls place and walk around while they are at work. I pass by a sign that says come meet the broncos mascot and cheerleaders at 5pm. This is it. I have found the broncos bar I had seen on the broncos website. I took my friends to the meet and greet and had a blast. Then next day took a party bus with broncos fans to the game. I didn’t get a tailgate ticket but walked around and of course got invited to shotgun some beers with broncos fans. Met with my friends in the stadium. We had shitty seats but good price. At half time there were almost no fans so we moved and sat 12 rows behind end zone. It was the greatest week and easily convinced me to move here! Me and some friends try to still go to bar to watch games when we can. My friend Julia moved to Denver recently and has been to broncos game and supports the team. Also any bronco fans in San Diego looking for a group join Pacific beach broncos nation on Facebook and come to Backyard in Pacific beach to watch the games. They raffle off shirts and jerseys, ticket with each orange crush shot. My sister won two weeks ago when she visited. Got a nice elway jersey and the group is really welcoming like a family. Sorry for the long story but we need the chargers or some team back here. Go broncos and also just a little luck but championship for the mile high city seeing as 420 is for a whole month!

Thanks for not bashing me too much with the Tebow love, as I regretted posting it immediately afterwards.

I was adamant that it was me on Twitter who always replies to your Tebow tweets, Mase, but quickly realised it wasn’t me; there is NO WAY he could have backed up Manning.

Something I would LOVE to know tho’, is if it was Manning who said Tebow must go as part of his deal with the Broncos, or if it was John’s way of getting rid of Tim (finally!), or Tim that wanted to go? Do you have any inside info there, Mase?

Zach, you ask if I think it was the wrong decision to sign Manning? At the time, with the neck injury, HELL YES! I was furious, ‘an idiotic move’ I thought. Oh how wrong I was, at least on Manning’s injury, and how can you argue with SB 50?

But, I am a weird breed of sports fan, where winning is not everything..

So yeah, if I could take away the Manning Super Bowl and have 12 years of Tebow led Broncos, I’m afraid I would choose that. I would find the intrigue of the journey with Tebow too alluring, rather than being gifted a fully grown Peyton Manning to win one Lomardi. I’m weird, what can I say?

However, If you guaranteed no playoffs with Tebow, and he had a losing record over that time, then I’ll take Peyton, as I didn’t say winning meant nothing 😉

Cole Vocell here, but I figured it was time to finally update my username to something more fitting.

No questions today, but I just wanted to thank Brad for all his work on the fantasy leagues this year, I had a great time (although it would have been a better time if hadn’t lost in the finals in the last 30 seconds by 1.35 points, but I suppose it’ll be ok when I win it all next year).

Also a begrudging congrats to Shawn, aka ManBearPig, I suppose, for getting the dub.

First time commentator long time listener! Thanks for the excellent content that gets me through my lonnnnnngggggg work days! Just one question……Can one of you please ask Drew Lock to switch up the snap count every once in awhile? It’s been one of my only complaints through these first 5 weeks. I loved watching Elway draw mother fuckers offside all the time with the ” hut, HUUUUTTTTTT!!!!” Maybe say something on the DL for next season, Thanks!!!!!!
