In the discussions around extending Justin Simmons I’m wondering: have the Broncos really been hurt by waiting until later to get deals done?
Could we have gotten Von Miller for cheaper if we signed him earlier? Maybe. To do that though you have to be willing to extend a player who’s coming off an ACL tear and run ins with NFL’s substance abuse policy.
The risk in waiting is you pay more or you lose the player. The thing is, not that many players are irreplaceable. Sure we lost Dumervil because of contract games but we replaced him with DeMarcus Ware. I can live with that. We let Decker go, and upgraded to Sanders. I don’t see a problem here.
I’m sure we could have kept Osweiler, or Julius Thomas, but I’m glad we didn’t. We tried to buy $3M worth of good will from Chris Harris Jr and it turns out that would have been better invested in Breck brews.
Malik Jackson is the only player that stands out as one we never really replaced. Interior pass rushers are hard to come by, and maybe if we’d gone in early we could have afforded to keep him.
Are there other players that we’ve lost or clearly paid too much for because of dragging out contracts?

Hey Guys! And welcome, Dre!
On the great PB debate, I am forever a chunky peanut butter person. But I do recognize that certain things are better off with creamy, such as peanut butter cups. An underrated breakfast sandwich is a chunky peanut butter, banana, and bacon sandwich in 2 slices of wheat toast.
Today we examine the other other Browns, The Cincinnati Bengals. What would you consider the best Broncos Bungals game? No one would ever consider it the best game, but the 2009 game is an honorable mention as arguably the most exciting finish, with the “immaculate deflection” from Kyle Orton to Brandon Stokley. It was a cherry on top of a game that was about as exciting as watching snails race at the Bonneville Salt Flats. And as usual, what about the Bucs, Mase?

In a normal year, how many padded and shelled practices do teams have/get? 10 shelled and 10 padded (may have those numbers wrong) seem less than usual.

Hey guys,
What kind of contract extension would benefit both sides at the end of this year for Von Killer (dude got massive this offseason) and Broncos? This being that Von ends the year with 15 sacks and leads the team in sacks and TFL. Would this extension happen if Von has an okay season like 10-12 sacks ? Broncos could move on from him especially with this cap hit from Covid and it would devastating if the Broncos did. Thanks guys for all that you do have a great day and stay safe.

I love onions, especially red ones. I love mushrooms too. However I do have a couple of buddies that think mushrooms smell like “man juice”. I’ll just leave that there.
Much love.
Stay safe.

Amirite or Amarillo
A 3 yard carry doesn’t keep you on schedule, but a 3.334 yard carry does. Amirite?

i know mase said he doesn’t have the energy to care about stuff like this, but it’s wednesday so we gon get mad ??
espn had their ‘future power rankings’ about how well a team is set up for the next 3 years and they had the broncos ranked at TWENTY-FORTH.
they calculate their formula as the following- and the broncos ranking is in brackets. 30% is the non-qb roster (broncos 16th) 20% coaching staff (28th) 20% starting qb (24th) 15% on front office (21nd) and 15% on drafting (17th).
the broncos replaced scangarello with pat shurmur, tc mccartney with mike shula but went from the 13th ranked coaching staff this time last year to the 28th this year lmao. last time i checked, vic fangio is still one of the best defensive minds in football and the team were competitive in most games last year, and they still have munchak, kollar, donatell, azzanni, modkins etc etc on their staff. and how are the broncos a ’17th’ ranked drafting team when they’ve been highly praised for their drafting these past few years?
some of these placements made NO sense. how the hell are the steelers considered a top 10 future team when big ben threatens retirement every offseason and there’s a realistic chance he’s a hot mess this year? the patriots with no long-term qb solution, an aging defense and very little talent on the offense are the 13th ranked team lol.

Hey guys!
What does the media availability look like for you guys at training camp? Are they allowing you guys to go to them or has that changed due to Covid? If you are allowed going to them, do you know of any changes that they have made to what you are and aren’t allowed to do/be at?

Mase, your description of going to that bucs playoff game with your dad was moving. These tableaus that you paint, imbued with emotion and Irascible passion are gorgeous, timeless, masterpieces.

Greetings, Dre and Mase on this withering hot Wednesday! Mase’s affinity for Tecmo Super Bowl took me back to the summer of 1992 when my brother and I played the game incessantly. In one season with the Broncos, Simon Fletcher accumulated 101 sacks for us en route to a Super Bowl victory. The Raiders, and defending Bo Jackson, were always our greatest challenge. . . . In a recent interview, Terrell Davis said, “I almost quit in training camp when I was in Tokyo, Japan in preseason because I wasn’t getting the opportunity to show them what I could do. I just felt like it wasn’t for me. They had faster guys who were better than me at the time, and I got a little discouraged, so I wanted to quit. Fortunately, my Japanese wasn’t so good and I couldn’t get a flight out of Japan to quit.” Davis was stuck in Tokyo, where he ultimately decided to return to the team in time for the preseason game. “I stuck it through,” noting that he ended up making a tackle on a special teams play that won him the favor of the Broncos coaches, boosting Davis’ confidence while earning him more playing time in subsequent games. “That play changed [the] entire trajectory of my career,” Davis said.
Without a preseason, do you think that TD makes the Broncos’ final roster or any NFL roster in 1995?
Hopefully, the benefits of having no preseason games outweigh the detriments. I know from experience in my professional field that there are many qualified individuals who may not have graduated from an Ivy League law school and/or did not graduate in the upper echelons of their class for example, who just need opportunities to showcase their abilities and aptitude in real life or game situations, to show proficiency to excellence. Hopefully, the Broncos and the NFL don’t miss out on too many unearthed gems like TD by not having a single preseason game in 2020.
Thanks for indulging my long comment today. DNVRMY SALUTE!

What’s up fellas! One of the UDFAs we snagged this off season that doesn’t seem to be getting much steam is Douglas Coleman III, and I don’t understand why. After watching his tape from his last season he looks like he could be a legit safety in the pros, and if I’m not wrong I think PFF had him slotted as a 3rd round talent. Do you guys think he has a chance of making the roster in the current climate or is he going to be an afterthought not being able to show out in preseason games? Yuh boiii Wildcard!

Hey guys I thought to myself today I wonder what people would think of this bronco’s team if case keenum was the qb fresh off his season with the Vikings hmmmm ….. I say this because I don’t know who I’m more excited for this defense or offense ….. If this defense isn’t top 3 it’s at least gloig to be top 3 in turnovers ….. They are going to put the Fear of God in offenses !!! U can get hit badly on all three levels of this defense …. Chubb , AJ JOHNSON , and Kareem Jackson all have hit stick I advise offenses to respect the zones they are covering or DeAndre Hopkins situations will occur lol …. But then I think about the offense and idc if this offense is young …courtland and Phil give it the explosion it needs because of for some reason , Jeudy,or Noah or Melvin Gordon (which I heavily doubt Melvin struggles ) but if they struggle they have to be accounted for and if teams can’t stack the box on Phil can’t double courtland ? I mean this offense is going to explode …. I just wonder would there be more respect if keenum was the qb cuz people are so Ignorant to drew WHOSE GONNA BE AWESOME LOL !!!

Hey guys, today I wanted to ask about Jake Plummer
He seems like a very cool guy, and a laid back person. I am more of a free spirit and find it refreshing when some players can relax with some green solution and not get trapped in the box of what an athlete is supposed to be.
So that being said, what is your favorite Plummer moment? I think the obvious one is the 2005-06 AFC divisional round vs the Pats. But there are more Out there like his 2003 win against the Colts in the regular season. My and my Grandpa, a Washington fan, watched and cheered all night during that game
Great memories even though we were decimated only weeks later in the wild card! Have a great day Broncos Country
SirJamesRadio
I have too many favorite Plummer moments as he’s my favorite player in franchise history, but quitting the NFL to go and play hand ball is just epic.
Another Ryan
I love Jake the Snake dating back to his college days, but his lack of preparedness for the Week 17 game against San Francisco in the 2006 season was really spiteful and unprofessional. Plummer had to relieve Jay Cutler that game after he left with a concussion. Story here: https://www.si.com/nfl/2015/06/30/si-vault-jake-plummer-retirement-handball-denver-broncos Plummer’s dereliction may have cost the Broncos’ a playoff spot. Granted, something much worse happened early the next morning when Darrent Williams was senselessly murdered.

Team crunchy!!! I LOVE crunchy Peanut Butter. Can’t wait for you to try it on a PBJ. SOOO GOOD.
Take this life lesson of second chances and take a trip to Fort Collins. You might just find you like the best city in Colorado too. It’s just like you said, “sometimes you develop these biases when you’re a little kid, and you don’t understand the finer things in life.” Just like Ram Country! – love ya RK 😉
Sorry for the long comment. 😉
Go Crunchy Peanut Butter, Onions, Iceman, Ram Country and Broncos Country.
I have spoken, MileHighMike.

Look guys, Madden ratings are trash and we can sit here and argue about them all day but the one thing we must always remember is that GREG JENNINGS PUT THE TEAM ON HIS BACK!
