Ok, let’s say the Broncos stay at #9 and draft one of the CB’s at 9. We’ve resigned Justin Simmons, Shelby Harris and Demarcus Walker.
Where would you be thinking the Broncos should be looking at in Round 2? Any players you have in mind for pick #40.

I wouldn’t be against getting a right tackle that could have the potentially take over once we can get out of the Juwaun James contract if he doesn’t ball out. And hope that Muti can develop to take over Glasgow’s spot in time. Hopefully a full somewhat normal offseason program will allow Cushenberry and Risner time to improve and then we’d have a young offensive line that can play together for the next 5 years or so.

Hey Y’all!
Some people might not like them but I love it when y’all do the clever little tie in to the ads, they’re kind of like the Dad jokes that pop up here and there. Mase had one yesterday that was one of the better I’ve heard in a while. It’s what sold me to this pod and kind of reminds me of my favorite TV show and my namesake here, Community. It’s not exactly similar but they often have little inside jokes that they repeat throughout the series.
Just a random thought I had with all of the salary talk with the GM and players, it may be dumb so bear with me. Does the bonus money come directly from the Owner or is it in like a Denver Broncos USAA account that the Organization runs? Then does the Owner have like a direct deposit linked to that account to help replenish it or does the money tie in with team revenue? Or it is kind of like buying a house where the Team “loans” out money and the league has some type of Escrow system with how much money it brings in? Just a little curious about the behind the curtain type stuff and I imagine that it may be different for each franchise.

Hey guys,
This time last year I asked you if the Broncos should try and draft Herbert and then let Lock and Herbert battle it out to make sure you’ve got your guy. Mase agreed this was a good strategy. Unfortunately in the end it wasn’t going to be possible. How I wish it was now.
So my question for you is the same as last year. Shall we just take the best QB available at #9 and let him and Lock battle it out for QB1? Sure we can draft a CB or other need at #9, but I’m just determined for the Broncos to get this position right. At the end of the day, I struggle to see how Lock is ever going to be able to compete with Mahomes and Herbert. We need someone that can at least get near to competing.

Ooh guys, one more question. Sorry. How much do you think that Eagles tank will hurt us? I can’t help but feel that a very good QB might drop to the Panthers at #8. Would be painful to watch, knowing we could have had that #8 pick if it wasn’t for the Eagles madness.

Howdy Gents,
Talking about Kendall Hinton yesterday, I was hoping to see him get a jersey for the final game as a WR, but that obviously didn’t happen. Maybe it would’ve in the time of fans in the stands for a raucous greeting.
Also it would’ve been fun for the coaches to have told McManus try a field goal on every drive that Saints game. Give him all the chances he could want and could’ve given an ‘F you’ to the league office.
Question I have for you is how do NFL trades work? Are they simply a phone call/text/email inquiring or is there a system or format that teams use? On draft day how patient are teams to wait, while you field another offer? Or is it more of a take it or leave it right now?
