Hey Guys.

Listened to you yesterday debating on trading for Diggs and being wary of his attitude and his impact on a locker room. It got me to thinking about the top receivers in this draft and how they would rank on a “Diva” scale. If The Broncos should be so lucky as to be able to choose between all of the top wideouts, how would you rank them as a locker room presence, with zero being someone like AB, who is immensely talented but can bring the whole team down with his antics, to 10 being someone like Rod Smith, a consummate pro who lifts everybody up. Have there been any glimpses into these guys personalities that would either lead you to draft them at 15, or take them completely off your board?

Can’t wait to get myself up to Denver. I’ve been a fan since they played at the Coliseum in LA in 1989. My mom took me to see their practice on UCI campus and afterwards I got all their autographs! Vance Johnson, Karl Mecklenburg and the great John Elway! A fan was born! I mean really, who else did I have to root for? The Lambs?? The Faders????

Alas, I retire at the end of this year from 20 years in the Navy, and my wife plans on taking me up to Denver to see a home game (my 1st, but she has already seen one!! /cry, and she’s a Patriot fan! Aaarrrgh!!). She’s the best Pat’s fan I know. <3

After getting out of the Denver bubble, how do you feel about your predictions for us making the playoffs next year? Did outside perspective reinforce your confidence or maybe bring you back to earth a little?

I one time literally ran into Natalie Portman coming out of the subway stop at Harvard Station when I was living in Boston. Clumsy old me slammed Into someone only To turn and apologize and realize it was Queen Amidala herself. I, of course, was rendered speechless as she graciously accepted my apology and left me awash in the rivulets of her smile.

Orange and blue seems to be on the rise and I’m thrilled about this next full season with DREEEEEEEW LOCKKKKK but unfortunately i rarely get to celebrate big news or big wins with anyone because I live in the heart of the beast……. Kansas City!! I went to the snow storm game in KC this year and heard a Chiefs fan drunk yelling “Lock has a small d***” repeatedly. I am so ready for Lock to win the division already, all KC knows how to do is run their mouth and win a super bowl every 50 years. Love listening to you guys and I’m also a new subscriber this week.

GUYS! I have fallen in love with Jerry Jeudy and I will be exited if he is a Bronco, but I would not like to see him go to the raider. Should the Broncos trade to pick 10 or 11 to take him? Or if Juedy and Lamb are still availiable at 10, just wait to see if they pick one of those WR and just take the other guy.

Guys, I promise I will type quietly. If you say there was only optimism around Drew Lock during the Combine, then why is he rated so low by the same people in all those QB ratings at the moment? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Talk to me about Cesar Ruiz, and the big 3 centers. Do you think any will slip to the Broncos in round 3? What is your general ranks of the three (Mase, I have an inkling of who’s your #1)? Here’s the money question: is the difference between #1 and #3 worth the opportunity cost of a stud WR in round 2 if you’re sure at least #3 is there in the 3rd?

Okay, short story (at least hope it is)… I listen to the pods everyday in the morning when I drop my son off to daycare. This has been going on for about 3 years now… anyway, A couple years ago when he was 2 he said to me “Daddy!!! Play my favorite song!!” I was taken aback for a second and went through the standard nursery song lists and he just got agitated. Finally, he said “No daddy… play the ‘Sketinmedown’ song!” It took me a second, then I realized that none other than Pleasure Horse’s Lonely On the Weekend was his absolute favorite song!! He said he loved listening to the “talking guys” but REALLY liked the song at the end. Basically, you guys are helping me bring my son up right down here in SoCal… Broncos, DNVR and Pleasure Horse for the win!

If you guys had the 3rd overall pick like the lions do and already have a good qb, do you think you could get more for trading that pick or drafting a player you know all the teams want and then trading that player to a team you want something from?

Hey fellas! So with all the different scenarios I’ve heard lately, I wanted to see what you guys would think about this. Knowing we’ll most likely have close to $80 mil. this year, sign Byron Jones to replace Chris Harris, and then either sign Amari Cooper or give up a 3rd and trade for Diggs. also, sounds like there is a real chance for the top WR’s to be gone by the time we draft so one of the top OT’s could be there and scoop up Biadasz or Cushenberry in the second.

The only restriction is that he can realistically be on the Broncos roster at the start of the season (so FA and draftees can be included if that is how you feel) . Mine is Justin Simmons. I absolutely love the progress he has made and I only see upside the longer he is with Vic. Hope you three had a great trip!

Do you have any cool sports hardware or memorabilia? We all know Mase has the holy grail in his SB50 ring. What about anything else? I personally have 2 Semi-Pro Championship Rings from back to back undefeated seasons. I was only the announcer and always strive to not make anything about me so I wasn’t thinking anything after the first one, when the owner of the team asked me for my ring size because she was proud of the work the entire organization did. I don’t wear then often but man the look great in display in my place.

Zac’s rendition of ASMR at the beginning made me laugh so hard and also cringe.. bravo

Mase is correct in the way he pronounces Hawai’i. The ‘apostrophe’ he referred to is called an ‘okina and acts as a glottal stop- the pause in your throat that he mentioned. Traditionally the w is pronounced as a v, but very few people pronounce it that way these days. So keep pronouncing it your way, Mase. The bastardized way that Zac and Ryan say it makes our ears bleed. Go Broncos.

Hopefully, comments aren’t too long today, but I did want to reach out to you guys. I’m not active on here by any means but I listen to the pod religiously and wanted to let you all know how you’ve helped me get through things as of late. A few weeks ago, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 28. We have surgery and potentially chemo in the coming weeks and our lives will be changed forever. When I’m alone I become an emotional wreck, but I’m trying to be strong for her. With you three as a part of my daily routine, I get out of my own head and leave some of my problems behind for close to 1 1/2 – 2 hours per day and I’m thankful for all of you. I love all that you guys and the community provide for a life-long Broncos fan halfway across the country in the toughest time of my life. Until next time…

Hey guys! I just wanted to know what Mase’s level of arousal was when he finally got the chance to talk to Tyler Biadasz? Was he giddy like a kid in a candy store or did he play it cool like a guy talking to his crush but not making it obvious that he likes his crush? These are the questions the people really seek at the combine.

He yall O-line question. Why is Elway so pressed not to sign McGovern? We are saving money from letting Leary go, hell we could even choose not to pick up the 5th year option from Bolles and at least have a second solid starter on the line. I feel like he can go to guard or continue playing center, it just seems to make sense unless we can pay for someone that much more substantial in free agency. Are we really going to find an interior lineman who is better for around the same price?

Also would yall pick up Amari Cooper with the fact he would be making more than 15 million? Lots of questions on offense to be answered.

Just a friendly reminder, driving faster than the posted speed limit will get you a nice little fine lol..

Draft proposal:

While I do enjoy dreaming of CeeDee, Jeudy, or Ruggs catching deep balls from Drew, and while I understand the value of Andrew Thomas, Jedrick Wills, or Tristan Wirfs, I want to trade down! Move back from #15 to somewhere between 20-25 and you *may* still get one of those guys. Worst case scenario, you’ll still be within reach of guys like Laviska and Jalen Reagor at receiver or guys like Austin Jackson and Josh Jones at Tackle.

Then you use your extra second rounder to pick up a guy like Cushenberry, Hamler, Mims, or Prince. Use the second rounder you’ve already got to continue to fill out at receiver and O-line.

Now, we need to consolidate picks at some point, especially if John does trade back in the first. Solution? Take two of the third round picks, package em together with one of those worthless 7th round comp picks, and move back into the end of the second round! Grab whoever is slipping down the board, regardless of position–a pure BPA pick. Suddenly, the Broncos are walking away with 3 second round selections, likely all in the top 50 on John’s board.

Now here’s where you may be doubting me…. “World of Suck, why in the world would you value the second round picks so much?”

Real simple: Courtland Sutton, Dalton Risner, and Drew Freakin Lock.

First, let me start off by also by telling RK how much I appreciate all the work you put in, as you were not on the pod when I commented for the first time last week. You three are awesome and the seemingly limitless amounts of great content that DNVR puts out on the entire Denver sports scene is quite impressive.

Now for a question:
What is your worst AND best interaction with a professional athlete that you guys have met?
I was lucky enough to meet Dalton Risner last year and he almost immediately became my favorite player due to his kind/down to earth disposition off the field while being a complete animal on the field.

This can be either before or after you two entered the realm of journalism. (I would love to hear Mase’s answer but his coverage of the combine is probably a bit more important.)
