Hey guys ! Sooo did I hear Zac say that a raiders radio station believes Russ is cooked and on the decline ??? Nice this is LDJ TERRITORY …. U knooo I’ve been getting several perspectives on how nationally and In division and from the Seahawks what they think of this team and sadly their buying the Russ is on the decline narrative their blaming the lack of production by our weapons on that our wr core is overhyped and it’s not that good ( shoot Kyle Brandt on gmfb brought up Jerry jeudy recent arrest a bit of a misinformed cheap shot ) the defense they don’t believe in without fangio etc . Etc broncos will finish 4th I’m the division ….. but my rebuttal is simple ….. u can’t say since 2020 that if Denver gets a qb watch out for this team then switch up when we don’t just go get Matt Ryan or Carson we to we got RUSSELL FREAKING WILSON ! …… and u can say Russ is on the decline ?? Without acknowledging that in 13 games he had a better td to Imy … qbr and competitors percentage then Brady and Stafford in their last seasons with their previous teams ….. And lastly if this roster wasn’t so good why were Seahawks fans and Seahawks radio upset that they didn’t get more of our young talent ??? They wanted Jerry jeudy javonte Chubb … Patrick surtain !!! But yea I guess with those pieces still on this team we’ll finish last in division right lol smh …. In the words of the great Steve Atwater “ WE’LL SEE”

Bonito will be awesome, why you ask? Because George Paton drafted him, i trust every move he makes.

A harmonius clubhouse is they key to a great year. The Chubb/Bolles incident last pre-season could be a lingering storyline, that’s why i belive Chubb will be traded before seasons end to stock up on draft capital!

where do you guys stand on dre’mont jones and his long term prospects with the team? are y’all OK paying him around $15m/year if he gets close or reaches double digit sacks- which isn’t that unreasonable considering he’ll be getting more advantageous matchups this year.

dre’mont definitely seems like someone who won’t take a hometown discount, so it’s probably a case of paying him market value or letting him walk. what do y’all think?

First – I just want to wish Mase the best. Seriously, that guy is awesome. His knowledge was one of my favorite things when I joined the DNVR family a few years ago, and he’s going to be missed. Major props to Mase for putting the family first and doing what’s right for the Mason family. Really hoping that he’ll pop in and out of the show from time to time.

Also yesterday’s discussion on Mexican food had me missing Denver way too much. I live in Raleigh, NC and it’s tough to find decent Mexican food out here. My favorite Denver spot is the Brewery Bar II on Kalamath street. It’s a total dive, but their green chili is unreal.

Looking forward to seeing the Broncos sweep the Raiders this year and shutting up all their stupid takes. Hoping that Tim Patrick catches another first down, and talks smack to McDaniels like he did to Gruden last year. Haha too good.

My boys! I need that golf hat that RK was wearing on yesterday’s pod. When’s a restock coming in? Also, in light of Shelby Harris’s comments about his number 96 being used soon after he left, it got me thinking about which numbers are next to be retired. For me, it’s 58 for Von, 24 for Champ, and 88 for DT. What do y’all think? Let’s Ride!

Hey Guys! Thanks again for mentioning the Denver RivALZ program. The Kickoff Party was a lot of fun and we have built up some momentum for involvement with the program since. I hope the DNVR Fam can help out the program that bridges the generational gap for Alzheimer’s advocacy and activism. I can’t believe Mase is moving on and the show was at peak entertainment when RK, Zak and Mase were talking about the Boys in Orange and Blue. I know the Broncos organization is not hyped on Albert O being Tight End 1, but how about training him to be a Cordell Patterson type player? He could be a huge mismatch to mix in some receiving reps. I know the WR room is full but so is the TE room. He has shown some great flashes when he gets the ball and could be a good blocker on Corners instead of Line Backers. I love when the weather gets warmer but it means I’ll be in sports purgatory soon where the erratic Rockies will be the only outlet I can go to. While I love the Summer I am ready for the start of the Football season. I’m hoping and believing Wilson will put all these doubters to rest once Hackett and Wilson and running a pass primary offense that will play into the strengths of the personnel. My boys! Just following up on yesterday’s pod – I have NOT yet been to all the stadiums, but the goal is to see the Broncos in every one. So far i have done 15 (CLE, CIN, IND, DET, TEN, BUF, NYG, JAX, DAL, CHI, DEN, GB, PIT, StL, as well as the Hall of Fame Game in Canton). This year after SEA, CAR, and BAL I will be at 18 total. I’m saving the AFC West games for last, with a finale in Vegas (because it’s Vegas). My wife and her family are from Mexico City, so next time the Broncos are at Estadio Azteca, we are for sure going to be there as well.

Following up on RK’s comment on how it sucks when you go to an away game and lose, allow me to share a story: In 2019 we drove up to Green Bay to watch the Broncos (9 hour drive), because there is no easy way to fly there. Anyways long story short, punk-ass Joe Flacco sucks and we lose the game and traffic is horrible getting home. We dont get home until 3am and I have to work in the morning. BUT the people were super nice, the cheese was good, and the stadium is checked off the list.

Fast forward to 2022 – I’m at my desk at work and it’s announced that we got Russ. I just put my head down and teared-up. No more punk-ass Joe Flacco ruining roadtrips. WE BACK BABY!!!

I will also add that La Loma is one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area! I miss when they were at their OG location right by Speer and I-25. It was the destination to get some good Mexican Food before walking a Quarter Mile over to Mile High for a Broncos game! I parked there for some great games like the 2014 Broncos going against the Nathaniel Hackett and Kyle Orton lead Bills, the 2015 Sunday Night Football game when the Broncos beat up on Aaron Rodger’s Packers, and one L when they choked against the Raiders in 2015 and showed how much of a Swiss holed O-line our team had.
