hey yall thank you for your coverage, man i have to say that i agree completely with what Zac has said all week; like yes we are technically 1 or 2 plays away from winning, but at the root of it, it isn’t just 1 player making a mistake or getting unlucky, it is 11 men collectively, routinely making the wrong decisions and being not the same page. Former player Orlando Franklin was FUMING after the game about the O-Line missing assignments and basic adjustments. Tim Jenkins’ QB review video also brought into attention about the weird play design too, like some plays he literally was so confused as to why Sean Payton was drawing up plays where multiple WRs were running routes where they were just stacked on top of one another…and it really makes me think that SP actually hates Russel Wilson, he was setting his WRs and Russ to fail on some of the pass plays…anyway interested to hear yall’s opinion. Thanks yall!

A lot of people are saying “Caleb Williams is not the answer.” I think that is a bit dangerous of a mindset – if you have the first overall pick, you better pick the franchise future, even if QB play is ok.
Scrolling twitter will find blame issued in all directions. I think the truth is, everyone is right; since 2015, there is not one aspect of this organization that has not contributed to the failure at some point. At many points, these factors combined with each other, ultimately leading to the shitstorm we live in today.
We had a super bowl winning head coach, who we ran out of town because we saddled him with a crappy QB. When we had the chance to replace that QB with a high draft pick and try again, we blew that. We landed on the carousel at the most important position in the sport. We passed over prime coaching candidates time and again, blowing it in the front office. All of our hires came in to a situation set up to fail. Ownership was a convoluted mess.
Top down, we’re getting better in all of these places, but the bill is due for the last 8 years. This organization has to keep making sound long term decisions, like retaining Sean Payton and drafting a QB at #1 overall, even if Russ seemingly is ‘fixed’. And we the fans need to come to grips that we’ve been living in cognitive dissonance since Super Bowl 50. Which is understandable, and ok, and we’ll get back there again. But it’s going to hurt the whole time.
