Hey guys!
Sorry I’m a day late with this one, but here is my official mountain pie crust honey review! RK, it’s funny you should say that it’s purely a Colorado thing because it actually reminded me of home. Back in Australia, we have a famous outback/campfire snack called ‘damper’. You make a dough by mixing water and flower. Then you wrap this dough around the end of a thick stick and shove it into a campfire. After a few minutes, the dough cooks into a dense bread and you pull it off the stick. Then in the hole of the bread where the stick was, you pour some honey in and enjoy! It tastes similar to the thick bread and honey of a mountain pie crust. Because of this taste of home, I loved it and I rate it an 8.8/10! Also, the thought of a main dish with its own built-in desert is just brilliant to me!
Cheers guys!
