Boys!
So, I was brewing on your conversation about McDaniels possibly turning the stone, and becoming a great head coach…. And I do believe people can change BUT only if they are willing to change.
Pat Shurmer could’ve changed and adapted…. But didn’t
Vic fangio, the great defensive guru, could’ve changed but did not.
Personally I do not believe Mcdaniels is willing to change. if there is anything that Mcdaniels has, it’s an ego, and those with an ego RARELY change. (Going back to my fangio and Shurmer comparison)
Carr and company are going to be good in SPITE of Mcdaniels. I said what I said!!
On a more positive non football note,
Pick one movie,
BUT only one character stays normal, the rest are muppets… which movie are you choosing?
Mine?
Wolf of Wall Street. I’ll let you imagination run wild with that idea.
Cheers!

UW-Whitewater Bronco
Hey guys,
I wanted to chime in on the conversation about the “Win the West” slogan for the Broncos. I was on the football team my freshman year of college, at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater . You may not be aware, but UWW is one of the most successful sports programs in division 3, in particular with football. The fan expectations are national championship or bust every season. Despite that, within the program, the national championship is mentioned once at the beginning of the season. After that, the focus is solely on winning the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, which would be the equivalent of the AFC West in terms of being a powerhouse. This helped keep us focused on the regular season, rather than the natty (which would become the post-season goal). I believe that Hackett wants to keep the focus on “Winning the West” for the same reason. Every regular season counts towards winning the division. The same can’t be said for the Super Bowl.
Go Broncos!

My boys! Love the content and can’t wait to hear D-Line today. A couple of comments.
First, just got the Let’s Rid3 and Kemperor shirts. Great quality, style and art work. I love them. Second, there have been talks of Wilson’s chances of winning MVP but it is a bad idea. The last league MVP to hoist the Lombardi in the same season was Kurt Warner in 1999. 9 league MVPs since 2000 have made the Super Bowl but all lost. I’d rather you have to change the opening song because “number 5 we’re still waiting for” than Russ win MVP. Love all the DNVR team podcasts and keep up the outstanding coverage.
