My boys! 75! My boys! 75!
It’s been too long since I’ve commented but, while my voice has been quiet, my viewership has been dogged.
You may look at me and think that I’m just a young Booty. But I’m not just a young Booty. Russ is what I’m looking for: a sexy independent quarterback, down-to-spin-it-type that wins Super Bowls. Bowls. Bowls.
In Paton he entrust our faith. When are the Mr. Unliiiiimited shirts dropping in the DNVR locker?
Love,
Onion Booty Bronco
Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled about Russ, but knowing what we know now about the prices for Russ (multiple high picks and good players) and Matt Ryan (single 3rd round pick), which package do you prefer? Do you think the significantly smaller deal for Ryan would’ve been a better path for the Broncos to take?
Nashbronco
I think you take the Russ deal every single time. He’s been much more consistent with a worse cast of players at times and trading for Matt Ryan would feel like another bandaid, short term solution. I understand where you’re coming from, but I’d still take the Russ trade.

My boys,
So when does Russ and the receiving squad get together to get to know each other?
And are dates for OTA’s and training camp locked in yet? Or am I just too excited! Cheers.

hey guys,
so falcons fans have to be pretty concerned about the return that terry fontenot got for matt ryan. essentially a late 3rd. to think- george paton got an early 5th in the same draft for trinity benson.
i know the circumstances might’ve been different in denver if fontenot got the job, but i’m pretty confident in saying that the broncos hired the right guy!

Hey guys! On two occasions you have discussed possibly switching Bolles over to the RT spot. Every time I hear about switching tackle spots I can’t help but recall something I heard some time ago. I don’t remember which podcast I heard it on but it has stuck in my head. According to a tackle, switching spots is like “learning to wipe your butt with your other hand”. Now I don’t know about you but that in my book is no small feat ?. So it may not be a goid idea to switch tackles or things could get messy ?. Now every time Zac brings up switching tackle spots you all too can think about this. You’re welcome! ??? Keep up the great work and Let’s Rid3!!!

Hey Kings! Thanks for the great coverage throughout this wild offseason.
I’ve spent the last few days thinking about something you guys have spent some time talking about over the last few years: margin for error.
To me, this is an area that Russel Wilson makes a huge difference in. It used to be that if the Broncos didn’t have the very best option at every position, I would automatically write that off as a reason we would lose a game at some point. This is no longer the case. With a QB able to elevate the entire team (like RK has talked about), the margin for error has expanded tenfold. This doesn’t mean we don’t need great players, especially with being in the AFC Best, but it just feels like the entire dynamic of this team has changed and I’m not sure it will be fully felt until we see Russ pull a win out of a sure loss. George Paton has done an incredible job building this team in less than two full years and I think we have a lot to look forward to. Cheers!

Hey guys! Yesterday you briefly mentioned Russel Wilson’s impending extension and how there was no way he would take any kind of discount, which is understandable.
I took a quick look at the percentage of cap that QBs have made and the highest percentage of a super bowl winning QB was Tom Brady in the 2020 season at about 12.7%. This means your chances of winning the super bowl plummet if you pay your QB more than about 1/8th of the cap. Now I’m willing to bet that might change sometime soon, but do you think teams are getting into a bit of a danger zone when they think about paying a QB more than around 30 million per year? How do you reconcile holding onto a star at THE premium position versus making sure the rest of the team is taken care of?
Hey guys! With all the excitement around the team since acquiring Wilson, I can’t wait to see the rocking atmosphere we all know and love back at Mile High! If you guys could each pick a new player intro song and touchdown song for the new season, what would you pick?
I’ll start.. for player intros I’ll go with Trophies by Drake, abd for TDs a edited version of Fergalicious that says Tugolicious instead.

Speaking of airports (from the last podcast, I missed the cutoff)- the Long Beach Airport is another indoor/outdoor gem. The terminal has a large outdoor atrium, complete with several palm trees. Last time I was there, I got a beer at a bar that was themed like someone’s backyard patio. Definitely a cool experience at an airport, but weird as hell.
