Aaron Rodgers is a free agent next year, would Denver be better suited to draft a QB 1 this year, and if that works out well – great problem solved. Otherwise, sign Rogers next year as a free agent, crush it for a year maybe two, and then draft another QB 1. It just seems like we would have to give up so much for a guy who is a free agent next year on the tail end of his career.
I shared a video on Twitter with RK of our new instructional designer John Vieira talking about his job as a high school teacher and his background and the vibes are eerily similar to the clips we’ve seen of Hackett in the meeting room… safe to say he has a type. We’ve had a a ton of guys come through here over the past few years who have forgotten more football than we’ll ever know, but were they actually effective in transferring that knowledge to the players? The staff is incredibly inexperienced, yes, but the way I see it is kind of like this;
Fangio: The genius prof you had in university with world renowned research papers, academic awards, and patents but absolutely no people skills or teaching ability. The guy who hides in his dark basement office between lectures and desperately avoids eye contact as you pass in the hallway.
Hackett: The young TA that’s tight with all the undergrads who came up with some goofy lab bit that ended up helping you pass organic chemistry. He’ll probably never get tenure or a Nobel prize, but he’s maybe the biggest part of making your 4 years of undergrad make sense and hit a legendary pop n’ lock at that one rager Sophomore year.

Hey fellas! Where would Lock fall in this years QB class? If there isn’t someone that they fall in love with, we should trade back, acquire draft cap, and chase one next year. Roll with lock this year good or bad. That is if we don’t land Mr. Car salesman deluxe this year.

hey guys,
what do y’all make of the vikings poaching several members of our coaching staff? organizations don’t usually take coaches from losing teams, and especially not several of them.

WHAT A NIGHT!!! Man I love sports and love my teams.

Got excited about Avs and Nuggs and forgot to ask my question.
I know it’s a year out with these two but it’s relevant to this year and the decision making of the team. I hear about Bryce Young and CJ Stroud and how great they are. So how good a prospect are they going into what is probably their final college season? Are they closer to Andrew Luck or Spencer Rattler (who I always thought sucked).

Thanks for the coverage guys. I think I am out on Roger’s. Too much to give up for an unpredictable all over the place situation that comes with him. There is a high likelihood that we could trade for Roger’s and be a one and done playoff team have him retire and be giving the packers 2 more years of first round picks. Count me out.
If Kyler and Russ are unavailable and Watsons legal troubles remain unresolved I think I pick best available QB at 9 start them next year and if they are the guy great. If not you can sell anyone that is not part of the long term plan during the season for draft capital and package that with our own high pick and redraft next year. That plan worked well for AZ. Then we have a cost controlled long term answer to build around.
Keep up the great work and looking forward to the return of three ring circus.

Hey all
I’m too attached to my Broncos players in Madden franchise to trade them, do you think George Paton trades his first pick as a GM in Surtain? I think he keeps him for a receipt that he is a franchise corner, and Justin Fields isn’t all he was hyped up in the draft.
I’m on team trade whoever and whatever for Rodgers. If he plays 2 years, give 2 firsts! It’s totally worth the chance at a playoff berth, which I would put money on Aaron would bring us. Just look at Les Snead’s (Rams GM) shirt at the Rams SB parade! “F*** Them Picks!”

MA BOYS!
Three short questions for you today:
1. I Pat Surtain already the face of the Denver broncos? On Espn television ever talks about the Broncos, the guy that always show up on the graphics is Pat. I do think he has the highest ceiling on this team, with the potential to be a all time great.
2. Where is the best place to get a duffyroll in Denver? I personally have never had one but have been told there were its at as I am making a trip soon.
3. Mase! Me being from the Boston area what do you think about clam “chowdah” and do you have any strong feelings about what it should consist of?

Ok, Mase isnt there, Zac or RK how about you?

Ok Fellas, per the conversation the other day of an effective tank job, wouldn’t the most surefire way to do that be drafting bailey zappe in the 5th round and just rolling with him all season?
If a Lock or a bridge qb are not going to make us bad enough for that #1 overall pick in 2023, Zappe might end up being the franchise savior.

Sorry for the double comment here boys but just had to add: I would need an entire doped up Russian Olympic team to do the the mental gymnastics necessary to be excited about Jimmy G or Kirk as QB
