Great job recently on the podcasts, even with everything happening you guys still are rocking it.

Over/Under 16 combined rushing/receiving touchdown for Lindsay and Gordon? Last year we had 12 rushing and receiving TD from our backs.

I went to college in Silver City, NM. This a beautiful little hamlet Buried deep in the desert Southwest, but as a broke 18yr old i was oft left trying to find things to do In my my spare time. We had but two movie theaters in our little burg and on one such bland evening my girlfriend and I decided to go see the Mummy as it was the only thing playing we hadn’t seen. It was probably one of the worst things I had ever seen. Thankfully the reel broke with about 30 minutes left in the film. Our 3$ ticket price was refunded (an applied to the purchase of a bottle of malt liquor no doubt) and I’ve never seen the film in its entirety (though I think I’ve seen The ending with the storm and all playing on random tv’s). To this day, I’d like to have that first hour of my life back. B. Fraser has got to be the worse actor in the history of the modern world, right?

No offense to those that liked it. I love how passionate you all got about it. It’s just not for me.

1) To counter The Count, Brendan Fraser is a better actor than the movies he’s in for a very specific reason: he loves being in B movies, he prefers being in those types of films. His words, not mine. How can you not enjoy Crash, Encino Man, or Bedazzled? The Mummy, IMO, is a good movie, not great. It’s like Virgil Green: it’ll fill the need, it’ll do its job, but it’s not gonna blow your socks off.

Seeing an ESPN article today talking a possible change of the one helmet rule in 2021. I know this is discussed often on the pod but man seeing the old D logo with a throwback uniform be more possible would be amazing.

What do you guys think of taking one of the big 3 receivers at 15 and laviska in the second if he slips? Seems like biadicz (I know my spelling is probay butchered) is slipping and we could potentially get him in the third or using 2 3rds to get back into the second for O-line.

So let me ask the question again now that we found out the broncos had more than we thought. I’ll change it so it makes it easier to quickly answer. If you could choose between having Melvin gordon or wolfe, Peter’s, and amukamara, which would you choose. Straight up if it was possible to do it, I would pick the package of players based on plugging up multiple holes on the team. Again, I still absolutely love the Gordon signing.

On another note, Wisconsin cities are crazy complex to pronounce I found out. Mase probably akready knows that. Like always, love you fam.

It’s been a while since I commented, couldn’t muster the enthusiasm with the way the world is right now. I am immuno-compromised and it’s been getting me down. But listening to you guys carry on the mission to entertain us has helped immensely.

My question, I saw an interview of John Elway by Alexis Perry, he mentioned by the coaches not going to the combine, staying in Denver and concentrating on evaluating college tape, that they are ahead of those teams that attended. This now seems like a masterstroke by Vic and John. I believe him.Thoughts?

I absolutely lost it during Mase’s ice cube rant comparing himself to Tom hanks on castaway. I just love y’all so much. Seriously thank you for bringing so much joy during these ridiculous times. Also to keep it Broncos related; I’m pumped for the next season. This feels different, in a good way.

I have to say you three could sell me a ketchup popsicle while I’m wearing white gloves. First you got me with a year subscription (couldn’t pass up on Lindsay t shirts) then I drove an hour to get Breck Brews using their beer locator (only to find out my little town actually has them) and now I decided to do my girlfriend and myself both a favor and trim up the field better and get the new lawn mower 3.0 from manscaped. All of you at DNVR are simply the best. I mine as well just give you all my money (or maybe not lol) but seriously thanks for creating such an awesome family I’m proud to be a new member

Thank you guys for keeping this going during these crazy times, the pods have been keeping me sane.

I’m glad to see we finally upgraded to average at the punting position. I’m glad we brought Martin in for a couple years to help out in that position. I do think we’ve done really well in free agency and like the Melvin Gordon signing too. After reading Andre’s film room article and him saying that one of Gordon’s strengths and tendencies is the outside run and he struggles on the inside I think that gives him and Lindsay a great 1-2 punch, because I don’t think Phil has any reservations taking it up the middle.

I’ve been getting back into online gaming with the lockdowns and have been alternating between playing Halo 5 online and Madden. If anyone opens up a second league I would be interested, otherwise how do I get on the waitlist? Thanks again for all you guys do!

A few things:

First, I love how DNVR has so much content that it almost made me throw up, literally. I had been trying to keep up with all of the pods before the quarantine, so I was listening to them on 1.5x speed. After a few minutes, it almost sounded normal to me, and I acclimated. I had been doing this for a few months, but then Nike (where I work) shut down, and I decided to slow it back down to normal speed now that I have more free time. When I heard your voices in slowed, “normal” speed, my brain just could not comprehend how slow you guys seemed to be talking, and I had the most absurd out of body experience, and felt super dizzy and almost threw up! Luckily I sorta acclimated, but now, to me, it sounds like you guys are drunk 24/7 and it’s hilarious!
However, because of this, I did discover that the intro and outro songs on 1.5x speed are bops!

Second, I was 110% with Zac on thinking Beef Supreme was a real person. I’m my brain, he was a WR from the 40’s who a commenter thought could be better than Emmanuel Sanders in today’s game. I had no idea he wasn’t an actual person until this pod lol

Last, I recommend everyone go check out the DNVR twitch streams. It’s hilarious seeing Rudo and AJ flail around in mini golf, and I can’t wait for some sort of group Mario Party session.

Hey gang,

Do you guys see a scenario where Phillip Lindsay gets a contract after the 20-21 season even with the money they are paying Melvin Gordon? Assuming Lindsay stays healthy and has a reasonable 750-1000 yard season will the Broncos give him the contract he deserves or try and get him on the cheap with a qualifying offer since he is an RFA?

From a business perspective I understand trying to get him for cheap another year and let the 2 year deal on Gordon play out, but I also feel like you have to pay up at some point and make the other guy happy too. If it is a split backfield like most of us think it will be, Lindsay might not like making around $6-7 million less than Gordon for two straight years but it is a business at the end of the day. Just hope to see my boy rocking orange and blue for a long time.

also, should we put more stock in the visits the broncos had at the combine? for the past few years, you’ve been able to tell which guys they liked judging on their top 30 visits but considering they aren’t happening, are the combine visits any indicator?

My question, I know y’all talked about what happened with CHJ a few pods ago, but I’ve seen so many fans have different opinions. Do you guys feel like he has lost a step? It seemed to me that he had a decent season, but that he isn’t the same guy he was a few years ago. What kind of season do you expect him to have in LA?

Hopefully I’m not too late but an nfl.com post-free agency power rankings I saw puts the Broncos at #25, putting us right below the Chargers and last in our division. In the notes the writer only had good things to say about the Broncos free agency moves except that we should be looking at Newton, Winston or Dalton ? time to shock the world I guess ?

Hey fellas, just wanted to say if you need a good trash tv fix maybe try checking out MTV’s The Challenge. The new season starts this upcoming Wednesday, and if you have never seen it the best way to describe it is, it’s a perfect mix of Big Brother and American Ninja Warrior lol. Definitely better than that monstrosity of a show called the bachelor. Any way just wanted to know your thoughts on Logan Wilson out of Wyoming , it seems like he is already becoming a Colorado legend on local forums. Could he possibly be the answer at MLB for the Broncos? If not who are some other names to be looking for at the LB position, that the Broncos might swoop up in the mid to late rounds?

Thanks for making me feel better about the odds on us trading up and not backwards if that’s the scenario that we are forced into. Assuming we double dip on WR’s who is your ideal one two punch to draft in 1st round and 3rd round or later? I see no scenario that Elway would go back to back in the 1st and 2nd round. Personally I would love to have Ruggs(1st)and Bowden(late 3rd or early 4th). Bowden is not the fastest receiver but has great football IQ, is tough as nails, and can do a lot of the same things Shenault can do. As always enjoy the pod every day, Go Broncos, and Go Wildcats.
