The news on Eyioma Uwazurike is beyond disappointing. No player can claim they don’t understand the rules in 2023. I understand the saying ‘greater talent equals greater tolerance’ and if it was a player like Surtain I’d probably have a different opinion, but I’d like to see the team cut him. I will be honest, I used to think the whole gambling policy was an IQ test. But, I think I underestimated how complicated the NFL made it, and probably some cultural elements. So the guys caught gambling get a lot more slack from me, personally.
