Russell Wilson, Javonte Williams, Jerry Jeudy and Greg Dulcich took the field for Sean Payton’s offense and went up against Vance Joseph’s defense, featuring Pat Surtain II, Justin Simmons, Zach Allen and Randy Gregory. Im obviously not there every day so this may just be what my biased ears are telling me but why does it seem like Russ continues to force the ball to only Court? Jeudy was one of the league leaders in separation last year in my mind it only seems logical that Russ would be looking his way early on often every play.

Just saw the news about Todd Davis joining! Congrats, between him and Alexis this has been a big couple of weeks for DNVR. Now I got 2 things I wanted to bring up.
First. So let me get this straight. Henry can bet on US women’s soccer because he loves America. Makes sense. But he bets on the chiefs because he loves the Broncos??? Somethings not adding up there.
Second. These camp reports have been killing my hype for the season. Everything sounds strangely similar to last year and has me thinking about what could happen if the season goes sideways. Hypothetically speaking if we end up with the number 3 pick. Assuming Caleb Williams and Drake Maye are 1st and 2nd. Would you rather take a chance on the number 3 QB or get Marvin Harrison JR? Thanks guys! Keep up all the hard work.

Much has been made about Russ’ struggles in camp. A few thoughts…
1: If Sean thinks he’s progressing fine, I do too. It’s August 2nd, and this new offense is still being installed against a fantastic defense. I don’t presume to know more than The Visor and Broncos Country shouldn’t either!
2: If Russ is gonna test this Offense and figure out the things he likes and doesn’t like (partially by throwing interceptions), shouldn’t he do it in camp?
Also, aren’t we glad the Broncos didn’t trade any WR’s this off-season?

Woo! Big day, welcome to Mr. Davis!
We’ve seen the defense be pretty dominant, and Justin Simmons especially making plays. Since the pod now has an ALL TIME DEFENSE perspective, I’m wondering;
How much of this is it being the first week of training camp, with the advantage traditionally going to the defense?
Can we expect Simmons to be this good, or Wilson to be this bad?
A broader question, should defenses ever ‘let up’ in practice to let the offense build momentum and confidence for a better gameday result?
