My first comment! Been listening for a couple years now, you all do a great job and I very much appreciate all the work you do to provide great content to the community. I’m a long time Mase admirer, I honestly remember him covering Clinton Portis during training camp for the team website almost two decades ago. I remember this video where someone put feathers on his helmet as like a rookie prank or something?? And he got in Shannys doghouse for the day? Sounds weird but remember the video and the feeling of optimism that we had a great pick… memories
Anyways my question is about the ownership situation and the trust. You would think that if the Bowlen kids are looking to force a sale (which seems to be the likely outcome) that the potential acquisition of Rodgers would be a windfall as it more than likely would bring relevance back to the Broncos on a national scale and thus increase the price they could seek in a sale. If they do have any influence you’d have to think they’d be very much pushing Ellis hard for a flashier solution at QB this year and sell high when this thing gets sorted out in the courts. I’m sure the kids will be fine splitting their 3.2 billion as is but is pumping the value up of the team right at the end of Ellis tenure something he is considering?

I have watched sport, avidly, for well over 30 years..
I have never, EVER, heard any Rugby, Soccer, Cricket, Athletics, Motorsport, literally NO OTHER SPORT, EVER, talk about jerseys or uniforms, since I was a toddler to a 40 year old, not one mention of “how my team’s kit looks”. You guys, however, are totally obsessed with it. And by you guys, I mean the United States of America..
You’re a Sports Journalist in U.S having a slow news day? Oh I know! Let’s talk about uniforms. Weeeeird.
So my comments/question, is why? Why are you guys so hung up on uniform colours and designs. I (we) find it totally bizarre. Does it fit in with your ultra capitalistic mega marketing model? Are you guys more vain? Do you care about how you look more than the rest of the world?
Honestly, I have no idea, but it is WEIRD as hell to us
