Russell Wilson, Javonte Williams, Jerry Jeudy and Greg Dulcich took the field for Sean Payton’s offense and went up against Vance Joseph’s defense, featuring Pat Surtain II, Justin Simmons, Zach Allen and Randy Gregory. But many players, including Surtain and Sutton did not practice. Should we worry about that? Payton talked about it after practice. Who had the best day of camp? On the scale of pure ruthless meritocracy to emphasis on extenuating factors, where do we think Coach Payton lands as far as making roster decisions goes?
Do we need to add a little extra emphasis on the offensive side?

Before I wasn’t super familiar with Sean Payton as far as his personality, but I do find it fascinating how chatty he gets given all the anonymous donors talk and the anti-media sentiment that was going around early on. He’s had pressers/interviews go on extra long, made some very candid and attention grabbing comments to the media throughout the off-season (too many “lattes”?). I’m curious how you guys have experienced him thus far because I was expecting more of a Fangio/Belichick demeanour and he’s clearly not that.

Alright guys now that we’ve all had a moment to panic, take a breath, panic one more time, and drink a Breck Brew or 12 to calm our nerves about the first game I did my homework. Watching the coaches tape again and seeing some QB coach recaps it seems Russ is executing well given that Payton didn’t scheme any help for the O-line and left his bag of tricks in Denver. Bottom line I’m F#CKING EXCITED and it looks like I’ll be joining you for the tailgate at the season against the McDaniels Felons.
