Denver Broncos All-Pro cornerback Pat Surtain II joins the show to break down his incredible game against the Las Vegas Raiders. While the Broncos fell to the Raiders 17-16 on Sunday, Surtain II proved he is the best cornerback in the NFL as he locked down Davante Adams. Was this Surtain’s best game… ever? What allowed him to have such a dominant game.
We then go to the film, where Surtain breaks down his three pass breakups he had while covering Adams and explains what he saw on each play.
Surtain II breaks down Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, Damarri Mathis and the rest of the defense’s performance against the Raiders. What went well? What could have gone better?
Surtain II also explains how Davante Adams’ comments in 2022 motivated him for this game.
We then preview the Broncos upcoming game against the Washington Commanders, including what Terry McLaurin brings to the table. Can PS2 have as much success against McLaurin as he had against Adams?
On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Super Bowl 50 Champion Todd Davis, Zac Stevens and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.
Finally, we end the show by taking a look at Pat’s game-day outfit and he takes us through his game-day routine.

Todd, WE NEED YOU TO PEP TALK THIS BRONOCS TEAM AGAIN ASAP!! (Is that legal during a game??) I am personally fed up with the last year or so with someone always saying we are a step or a play away from being great…Am I alone on this? I do believe in Coach because even though we lost it still felt different. Well boys thanks for a great Pod and always LIVE – LAUGH – and BRECK BREW!!

Just want to say I’m so appreciative of DNVR getting me through this week and last year. I just moved to Colorado from Kansas City and after they won the Super Bowl all I heard was fireworks and screaming and it was a nightmare! (Even though Henry enjoyed it) DNVR really got me through a tough season! After 4 years of religious listening to the pod I finally became a diehard. go broncos!

To all the “sky-is-falling” broncos fans – last weekend was host to the worst EPA per offensive play (league wide) in 21 seasons. Relax. Things will improve.
Also Todd, what say ye about defenses starting to catch up to offenses? Seems like more big. Atheistic dudes are trending towards becoming OLBs and D linemen rather than O linemen and thereby are starting to swing the tides in the trenches.

Hey guys
So Zac my user name is pronounced “Mile High Sing(h)”, it’s all good though. So my comment is Nick Ferguson did a breakdown on X (Twitter) on all three personal fouls the Broncos got called last Sunday and there is evidence to support that the refs got the wrong calls. Do you think the refs and the league will call more calls like this on the Broncos because of Coach Payton’s past history?
Nashbronco
Zac my guy…OPEN YOUR EYES!
You repeated over and over that the Broncos should have “tried” to throw it deep…yet the only true deep threat they had is a rookie in his first game! Do you really think The Visor would put Mims in that position?
As for the Drew Sanders talk, Hank and Todd are right in that the game plan kind of dictated the pass rush. (or lack thereof) And the coverage HAD to be better. Mathis is the weak link.
Also the reason Renfrow was a non factor was that Essang Bassey played an incredible game and has gotten no credit for it.
