Hey y’all I think it is crazy that Zac just sprinkled in the fact that he was in a children’s choir like it was nothing that was incredible. Are there any players coming into the combine that you expect to raise their draft stock whether it’s currently high or low? Can’t wait for your continued combine coverage, I’ll definitely be glued to the combine more than ever before.

Also Mase appreciate the Denton shout out!

I’m sitting here going through Mocks and I’m seeing some Isaiah Simmons to the Chargers, to be honest him with Derwin James and Joey Bosa scares the hell outta me. Who is one guy for each division rival that scares the hell out of y’all?
dan birk
the chargers could draft chase young and i’d be 100% unbothered. they had joey bosa, melvin ingram, derwin james, desmond king and casey heyward on the field at the same time and they STILL lost to the broncos. nothing they could do would concern me because….it’s the chargers after all.

Hey friends. We, the DNVR family, will need R.K. to get us all the info possible for any Buff players that were invited! Mase, please advise us on Tristan Wirfs and anyone else you would like to. Mr. Stevens, you can add on for any of the players if you like but your assignment is to try and get the truth out of Johnny boy and The Godfather, good luck with that!!! GO BRONCOS/DALTON/DREW/DNVR

For a follow up, Drew most certainly did not know who I was, but I was able to explain what happened. He joking responded, “in that case, please don’t beat me up. I’ll do what you want” He is friendly with my dad so I told him what happened and the 2 couldn’t contain laughter. I saw him a few years later (when I was of age) in AZ for spring training and repaid his kindness by buying him some booze (I.e. a beer)
In a related story, when I was studying abroad we spent a week in Positano on the Amalfi coast in Italy. I heard an unmistakable voice from the villa below us and sure enough it was Colorado’s own, Rick Reilly. When he found out we were fellow Buffs, he couldn’t contain his enthusiasm and walked us down to the market where he bought us some local wine and cheese. He told us some old school Boulder stories and said they used to call “the pregame” “the prelax” instead. lol.
Just goes to show that the media here are good people, and you guys are no exception. Keep up the good work fellas. And always put first and last names in your contacts.

By the way, the short stuff was really just to get a rise out of Zac. I will refrain from it from henceforth.

When did this pod turn into a platform for tall people to flex on us short people. ?

Mase, I haven’t commented in a while but I figured this would be worth it. I know you are a Dale Murphy fan so I wanted to get your help. I am good buddies with 2 of Dale’s sons, one of which was a Denver bronco for 11 days (did you know that?), and i see Dale every so often. As you know, he is not a hall of famer so I am reaching out to see if you would wear a Murphy for HOF shirt if I sent one over. Let me know. Thanks for what you guys do.

Hey guys, I was going through Mock Drafts like you do and I came across an interesting scenario. How would you guys feel if the following players were the only players we ended up with?
Tristan Wirfs
KJ Hamler
Lloyd Cushenberry
Denzel Mims
Troy Pride Jr
Count Bridgeula
Do you think Kerryon Johnson gets a free carry on bag on account of his name ?

The guys hanging out in Indy is the wholesome content we need. I’m so here for it. No question. That’s the whole comment. #westan

rk, i 100% agree with you that reagor is someone that could be in play at 15. it might seem like a reach right now, but i think he’ll be a mid first rounder once all is said and done. the only real red flag with him is some drop issues but we were saying the same thing about sutton once upon a time, and the tcu qb play was shocking. drops can be worked on if the work ethic is there.
ben allbright said yesterday that he’s heard the panthers might be exploring a move up to number 1 overall. combine this with charles robinson reporting that the panthers are willing to explore trading players on their roster for draft capital, are there any players that interest you on the panthers roster? and if so, what would you give for them?
i would 100% trade a 2 (and more) for dj moore, a 3 for donte jackson and mayyyybe a 4 for curtis samuel. don’t think i’d do a trade for cmac considering he’s coming up to a contract, and no good comes from paying running backs. i get that he’s also a 1000 yard receiver but ??♂️

I’m writing this at 3:34 Arizona time with my alarm set at 7:30 for my 8am because I cannot fall asleep due to my dorm roommate making his iconic thumb-sucking wet noises in between other moans and snores. What are some bad roommate stories you all (DNVR subscribers included) have? My guy hasn’t washed his hands since October, I had to bully him into using body wash, has the most rank smelling feet I’ve ever encountered and overall has no idea what hygiene or self-care is. Anyone think they can beat that?

As a now liberal lefty pacifist, one of my guilty pleasures is…….Boxing. I don’t condone violence, and boxing glorifies it, but I grew up Boxing with my Dad, and still a huge fan of the sport; it is ingrained in me.
I have had so many arguments with people who rate Wilder; they just doesn’t understand the artistry of Boxing. There is huge skill and technique, much like the NFL; they have both developed into a sport where physical tools are necessary to get to that level, but you need to have put in many thousands of hours training and working on how to evade and hit cleanly. To the untrained eye, it is a sport of pure anger, but it is not.
Wilder is THE WORST Heavyweight Champion I have ever seen. His footwork is awful, his head movement is virtually non-existent, and his body movement pedestrian at best. He has defended his belts against the worst Pros for a decade, and when he finally fights someone with top level skills, he gets made to look amateur, at best.
However…
Deontay Wilder DOES have the most incredible power I’ve seen, dynamite in his gloves, and that will always keep the part-time Boxing fan interested, and draw in crowds. Alas, a good Boxer he is not.
I WAS cheering him on though, wanting him to beat the very racist and homophobic Fury. Wilder is a really nice guy, who does a lot of work for spina bifida charities.
Roll on the rematch, hoping for a better result.
The Big T
Damn…. 7 words over the limit. Lambaste me now!
The Big T
Also, for the Broncos Boxing Fans out there; it doesn’t matter who wins the rematch. Neither will beat Joshua. Not far off Wilder’s power, with boxing movement as good as Fury.
If you are going to do a Shannon Sharpe on me, and point out Andy Ruiz beating AJ, then you don’t understand how fast that man’s hands are, and has great head movement, and Joshua went in to the fight with a concussion.
Top 4 Heavyweights are so different in builds and styles, that the next 3/4 years will be fascinating; they all match-up better or worse against each other that we could see the titles change hands a lot. AJ still the most rounded, and the best imo

One thing the tall guy forgot to mention last pod was taking your photo at the DMV sucks. I have to do this weird half squat thing to get in the frame it’s so awkward. Being tall isn’t all sunshine and rainbows I hit my head atleast twice a day. Maybe that’s why I can’t use a comma correctly?
Weirdest thing I woke up to was a strange dark figure standing at the edge of my bed one night. I freaked. Jumped straight out of bed turned on all the apartment lights. Flipped out. Till I moved out of that apartment I would turn on every light when going to the kitchen in the middle of the night.
Be safe and have fun in Indy!

I always wished I was shorter, and I am only average height, at 6’3″, because my back is knackered. Why do they put mirrors, sinks, tables, etc, all for short people? I dread to think what it is like for Basketball players.
The Big T
Hopefully he’s not carrying his Johnson on, well, not in his hand any way. Perhaps he needs a bag for that?
VilcaDan
Hopefully he’s not carrying on Greg Robinson’s bag…

Post for Bristol Broncos Fan, who has NFL Withdrawal. Watch the XFL, or at least that’s my advice..
I have tried to watch other American Sports, but just can’t find a handle on any of them.
Ice Hockey – Puck moves so fast I can’t keep up with it. Player takes a shot, wait a second or two and see if players are celebrating, and then watch the replay to see where the damn thing actually went. I am just watching, waiting for a fight, so I can be entertained.
Baseball – They catch with a massive glove. Are you sure this is a sport for Adults?? They aren’t even allowed to throw the ball at the Batter either? One of the best aspects of Cricket is the bowler is encouraged to hit the Batsman. No danger, no fun! Baseball feels like a kids game.
Basketball – why do they run back to their own basket after scoring so quickly? Do they not want to stop the other team? Turn and stop and defend right away. I feel like I could revolutionise Basketball if they listened to me. Feels like they don’t care about defense, and therefore feels like it lacks competition.
I know, I know, shots fired, and I am a stupid Englishman who doesn’t understand these sports. I’ve tried, and failed. Can you explain my flaws above a little? Although I imagine you’ve ripped them to shreds as soon as you read them. I must be missing something, but thankfully you guys hit the jackpot with American Football, and it is damn fantastic. It has everything!

Oh, and Bristol Broncos Fan, my brother runs a pub in Bristol. As a vegan, we love Bristol; it’s Gurt Lush! 😀
LONESTAR BRONCO
Hey guys, super excited for the combine coverage.
Jalen Reagor runs 4.2x and the Broncos select him at 15. That’s been my thought process for a few weeks and I think it’s a real possibility. Ruggs, juedy and lamb will be gone so with his blazing 40 time Reagor will be the guy.
If there’s one thing in good at it’s being wrong so take it with a grain of salt, I’ve just had a hunch.
Cleavers83
Hey fellas here’s a little story about the sleeping chemical that keeps you from moving around, though I’ve never hallucinated like RK I have often woken up with my head off the bed and not able to move for a minute or so, pretty scary when that happens lol, hope you guys have a good time in Indy!
Drewlacca
Hello again, Gentlemen,
Hope you are having a great time in Indy. One quick question for each of you.
What is the biggest “miss” you guys have had while watching the combine? In other words, was there ever a prospect that really impressed at the combine that you thought was going to be good that turned out to be just someone who aced the workouts?
If you personally haven’t had any misses, can you name someone that climbed up everyone else’s draft boards because of the combine that turned out to be a bust?
Thanks again for everything that you do, have a great rest of your day!
Hows it going guys? Hope your Indy trip has gone good so far! My question is for Mase. I’m curious, what did you think of BSN durring your time with the Broncos? What were your impressions of their work? What did you think of RK, Zac, and Spano? Lastly, how has the reality of working with these guy changed those views? Thanks for the daily entertainment guy! You ARE appreciated.

The Irish heart ring thingy is a Claddagh (claa-duh). It consists of a heart with a crown at the top, held by two hands. It signifies love, loyalty and friendship. I have one on my wedding ring, as my wife very much identifies as Irish. Here’s the breakdown on how it’s worn:
Right hand with the point of the heart facing towards the hand: The heart is turned in towards the wearer meaning their heart is taken and they are in a relationship.
Right hand with the point of the heart away from the hand: The heart is turned out away from the wearer meaning their heart is open to love and they are not in a relationship.
Left hand with the point of the heart pointing away from hand: the wearer is engaged or in a lifelong partnership.
Left hand with the point of the heart pointing to the hand: the wearer is married.
The Claddagh originated in Galway. Presumably when Ed Sheeran fell in love with a “Galway Girl” he knew what to look for.
Why do I feel like dreams are gonna be a reoccurring topic now? Your dreams/night terror stories were entertaining, I think everyone has something like this happen…

Mase! Your response to the propsed trade as the Lions just made me want to gripe a bit.
What ever happened to the back n forth magic of making a deal? Just because a price is higher than someone wants to pay doesn’t mean the answer is NO, it just means we’ve got some bargaining to do!
For everyone else out there, where there’s a will, there’s a way! You just have to be imaginative enough to make it happen.
Rant off, love u guys, looking forward to this great week of ball talk!
Cheers!

A second for diggs?!! …. Really i mean really and pay him 15 a year given this wr class ??? I mean we know how productive the 2014 wr class was and their saying this one is better and Rk would give up a 2nd for a problematic code tweeting injury prone wr ??! Cmon Rk smh …. (Dont defend it Zach thank u for shooting it down mase ) …. Im not gonna even give darius slay energy hes 30 … Jones is 27 and can convert to saftey……. Anyways sooooo we let go of our analytics guy huh hmmmm ??? I think the next one has to know and study the analytics on courtland bug play ability. …. Because everything i study about this team and talent tells me you allow courtland the ability to play at a borderline all pro level and fant ata pr bowl level this team is winning 12 games …… I think coming out of college people ignored his ball skills (which is why I WANT DENZEL MIMS ON THIS TEAM MASE !!!) …. Courtland didnt have seperation his rookie year and at times in college but if you give him a chance his boxing out big body great hands will make a play …..so with that said …how many targets Courtland warrants a game …i say 6 at least 3 big shots and at least 2 end zones a game you gotta let Courtland he great and give him a shot to make plays what you think ? P.s. mase im down for getting speed to compliment courtland but mims is strong big jumps outta the stadium i see aj green in him with his ball skills i really want him on this team ….is speed just more Integral to this offense then Mims skillset ?

Here in Hawaii, women wear a flower behind their ear to signal being available or taken. Like the ring, left ear means taken, right ear means single.

One of the funniest things of not waking up to something was when I had a sleepover near Greeley at a friends house. We were outside sleeping in a tent and while we were asleep, a car down the street crashed very loudly near us and woke everyone up except for me. Slept like a baby.
SoundGuy
Hey guys,
What are your thoughts on the wonderlic test? Does a poor score on this test change your evaluation? Remember, both Garrett Bolles and Paxton Lynch had low scores relative to their position groups.
Broncosguy63
Just gonna throw something out there for you guys to discuss. At this point after watching tons of clips from people on Twitter and his interview, I want Henry Ruggs on the Broncos BAD. I’d be open to trading into the top 10 for him. Am I nuts?
Side note – anyone that uses more than 1 MAYBE 2 exclamation points is either 60+ or manic.
Keep up the great work!
SirJamesRadio
I agree!!!!!!
Broncosguy63
One last thing. Idk if this is offensive or not but Henry Ruggs reminds me of Julio jones a lot because I think they both look like aliens, both with their play and also in the face
SirJamesRadio
Hey gents, do you guys have any ridiculous food orders? Basically I’m asking for you guys to help me feel better about my regular subway sandwich being $20…
SirJamesRadio
I rarely double dip but I want to know, is anyone else a little weary of such a glowing endorsement on Drew? Until everything is settled I’m going to be on the edge of my seat that this is a draft ploy.
DTL
Hey guys just subscribed for the first time hopefully many more to come. Just wanted to say thanks for all the coverage and hope one day be able to meet yall now that I live in Colorado I’ll be able to make more games.

Hey fellas sorry for my novel on the last pod!
Anyways do you guys know What receivers we’ve had talks with at the combine so far? I saw Ruggs and Jeudy but wasn’t sure if those were the only two.
Jraeder14
RK, the owner of the Hornet on broadway is the biggest Wolves fan! So there is a spot you could go watch any of the games!
Just_ice Hold the Water
Hello everybody, after months of being a freeloader you guys can proudly say… (all together… 1.. 2..3.. “we got him”). Anyway have been listening to you guys for ages now and am soooo freaking excited to truly be apart of this community. I know length has been an issue as of lately and I have way to may questions to ask so I will ask them over the course of some time, but when and how much do you think the Broncos and John Elway will sign Phillip Lindsay back for? Since hearing about him in high school (I was born and raised her and he came up around the same time I did in high school) he has been one of my favorite players. What’s a great price for him, the team, and a respectable price that would keep him happy and wanting to be a Bronco for his entire career? I started listening since Mase came aboard and the content has been over delivering every time. I can’t say this enough you guys are the best and keep killing the game. Thanks guys!
Bronco Brawler
Hey guys quick question about the Stefon Diggs potential trade, knowing about his locker room drama and his criticisms of Kirk Cousins why would we want anything to do with him? He is a really good receiver but I have no interest in the Broncos signing him because I think he would be a cancer in the locker room which is why he is available. Just curious to see what you guys have to say on this because I haven’t heard it talked about, thanks RZ, Zac, and Mase, enjoy the combine boys!
Screw This
What do you guys think about this trade scenario? Trade back with the eagles in the first round. We swap our 1st round picks, get their 2nd round pick, and swap our first 3rd round for their first 3rd round pick. We then trade back in the first round with the 49ers. We give them our original 2nd round pick and then the 3rd round pick we got from the eagles. So we will end up with the 21st and 31st picks in the first round, the 53rd pick in the second round, and the 85th and 95th picks in the third round
Jonny G.
Hey guys,
It seems this week is like drinking from a fire hose with the amount of information that is coming our way. I read that the Broncos are picking up the option for Brandon McManus which solidifies one aspect of special teams. Are punters/kickers a part of the combine? Is there anyone the Broncos have visited with? How realistic would it be for us to draft a punter to solidify the position that has been so lackluster for so long?
Keep up the good work!
DEFWU
I have a quick one. If Ruggs breaks the combine record for the 40, how much will it boost his draft stock? Like John Ross, could it push him into the top 10 or would he still be realistic at 15?
One more, did St.Elmo’s live up to the hype?
OklahomaBroncosEvilTwin
We all seem to love Ruggs, but I’m curious to know the bounds of that love. Would you be willing to trade two of the Broncos’ 3rd round picks (or all 3 if you want) to move up to 11-13 to guarantee Ruggs is there? Or would you rather keep your picks and take Reagor with Ruggs off the board?
Also, did Vic and Elway’s answers change any opinions you had on what directions the Broncos would go this offseason?
Stay saucy, with love
