RK. Much love man! You’re the greatest…
But you’re not allowed to take anymore long vacations!
Soon as you left, Avs lost game 7, Nuggets S**t the bed against Kawhi.
And most brutal of all, the Broncos are falling apart by a player a day it seems.
Your energy and presence is needed in Denver. Do it for the city man!!!

My boys! I was absolutely heartbroken with the Von news and then with Sutton being hurt as well? I was about to say F**K this year but I thought this… Is Drew the guy? Or a guy? I completely believe he is THE GUY! I understand his young but if a guy is the guy! He overcomes all things. Watch him ball out this year and Denver go 10-6! Broncos have a top 12 Offense and still top 7 defense, called it! Also my other bold predictions, the man who leads the broncos in sacks? Dre’Mont Jones with 12+, bold I know. But I think his a Star, and with no Von, and Chubb getting a snap count, Jones takes over! Broncos beat titans 27-21. All positive vibe from me, I’m not worried at all! 10-6, playoffs bound and our future ready to compete soon! FOOTBALL IS HERE MY BROTHERS!!!! LETS GET HYPED!!!

You guys talked about Lock’s success possibly making a path to Von miller coming back permanently.
Is there a scenario that Drew Locks success makes Von Miller more expendable?

MY BOYS! Game day (night) is finally upon us! Thanks for all you have done to help make this long wait more tolerable and enjoyable. I expect tonight’s game to be an ugly, grinder. think that the team that wins tonight’s contest has to succeed in categories that are still important, but used to be even more important to consistently win football games, in being able to competently to expertly run the football, stopping the run, and winning the turnover battle. In my mind, whichever team has more rushing yards tonight has the best chance of winning. I am concerned about the lack of tackling, with no preseason this year, in stopping Derrick Henry. The same can be true for the Titans in stopping, Melvin Gordon, however. My question for each of you is to provide one or two points to this fill the blank inquiry: The Broncos win tonight, if _____? GO BRONCOS! DNVRMY SALUTE!

Happy Game Day y’all! My Q is for Zac. How would you rate Aaron Rogers’ performance in week one? Average, mediocre, or so-so?

FFFOOOOTTTBBBBBAAAALLLLLLLLL IS BACK!!!! I’m going to go ahead and call a shot before the game starts so it’s in writing and I can be held accountable for a round of drinks if I’m wrong.
Yes it’s long but we are short on comments today so I’m stuck here carrying the weight lol.
I’ll be one to say that Todd Davis will be missed, he made his money always being in the right place and stuffing the right gap or running lane, good luck man. However I think we upgraded with Jewell, people seem to have a short memory and forget his Rookie campaign during which he was often one of the top graded linebackers across the league, albeit in limited use. Last year saw a regression as Fangio’s scheme cost Josey his biggest weapon, the ability to play faster than his speed by diagnosing and reacting to plays quickly to make up for his lack of speed. Watching the film you can see that his hesitation slowed him down, with a second year under his belt I’m of the belief that he proved ready in training camp to take over Davis’ role and therefore made Davis a cap hit. When he was exposed last year he was playing alongside people that didn’t compliment his skill set, this year we have that in AJ, and we are closer to the Trevathan/Marshall dynamic of days past. I’m all in on the Jewell train and I expect a great year from our line backing corps.
Have a great night Bronco’s Country, and don’t hold it against me if drunk Danimal posts again after the game, that guy is a bit of a d*ck!!

My boys!! So hyped the season is here! I’ve been really missing football right now, the CFL should’ve been hitting the last 3rd of the season. Labour Day is always a huge rivalry game every year, too bad the season was cancelled for the first time in a century. THE BRONCOS ARE BACK! and it feels so great. Stay well DNVRmy. Go Broncos DNVR Iceman and all the OGs!

TIMEOUT!!! COME ON VIC! Well off to work now. I can’t believe the game ended like that… ugh

One Jerry Jeudy catch away from winning that game—one Drew Lock wide open Nick Vannett pass in the end zone (or one Vic Fangio settle for 3 points at the goal line); one Melvin Gordon protection of the football. We have talent this year, but same heart-wrenching loss. We look too good to be this the same! Vic just take the points early on in the game. Analytics shmanalytics!
Mark my linguistics, if we see the Titans again, we beat them. We’ll be good when we develop (if we have bodies left standing—the early season attrition got my nerves on yikes mode. A 1/5 kicker is the hero of the game. Slap my buns and call me a poodle! Goshhhh!
But I’m sure we’ll talk about silver linings yada yada yada. Yes, we’ll be good next year. I still would like to not let this season slip away though.

Listening to the postgame podcast… love you guys but OPEN YOUR EYES
Lock did NOT have a good game. Missed two EASY tds and had at least 2 dropped picks. Inflated stats from garbage time yards at the end of both halfs. Not saying I’m giving up on him but being realistic.

Got to watch the game at a civilised time of 1230pm in Melbourne! Was it just me or did you guys just know that it was going to end like that?!
It is a shame, but there were positives. I liked Josey and pussycats, Melvin and the squirrels and Fant. But why oh why did we stop passing to Fant??
Probably the best news, no holding penalties!! And Drew did ok. Not great, but ok. Main question: what is your take on the O Line? Supposed to be our biggest weakness but seemed ok to me. Lock still didn’t have a clean pocket, but he seems more dangerous on the move anyway…
Kendall Hinton, Hall of Famer
This loss is heartbreaking, I know we talk about how Von Miller being out for the season will likely cost us a game, it looks like it already did. What’s worse, is I think this is a game where just having Sutton back probably means we win it. And just having Bouye back by itself probably means we win it. That’s so frustrating and if we’ve already lost a game week 1 that we might have won if not for losing Von, what happens if we lose another 2 because Von is out? Not unreasonable. I should say there’s lots of good here to hang our heads on but still.
Secondly, we’re now out 3 pro-bowlers and a Superbowl MVP/first ballot Hall of Famer who are all starters… I don’t think there’s another team in the league wherein the caliber of players they have injured is comparable. Can you guys think of any?

Well well well if it isn’t the consequences of our own actions. Self inflicted mistake after self inflicted mistake. This was a frustrating game with a predictable Broncos ending. After the third missed FG, I said “watch him hit the game winner and redeem himself.” I wish I was wrong more. All pessimism aside, I think there were a lot of positives to take from this game. I was fairly impressed with our rookies (minus those drops) and our defense looked dominant even considering we lost Von. Not to mention Jewell’s hit on Henry brought back memories of Atwater. That was a moment of serenity. All that said, We’ve got to find a way to clean things up and execute. It’s not going to get any easier next week with the Steelers who just held Saquon Barkley to 6 yards on the ground. Embrace the journey Broncos country.
Hey guys. A little bummed, but lots of positives. Fant is about to explode this season. Need I say the second coming if Sharpe? But the biggest question mark needs to be why does Fangios defense constantly let the team down at the end of games? Final game losing drives cost us the playoffs, and I believe Fangio needs to have the defense ready for this going forward. Thoughts on why his prevent defense is so susceptible to these drives?
Now looking forward to this offense with Hamler and Sutton added to the mix.
