Sup Fellas, gotta Mase Mase real quickly. FedEx field (Redskins stadium) is actually in Landover Maryland not DC proper. That is something that DC residents are pretty pissed about too. Many DC residents say they won’t cheer for the team until they change the name and move to DC.
The only thing we get more upset about is taxation without representation… because we are not a state we have less representation and our vote matters less!

Thought we said that! I know we were talking about how that specific spot was briefly incorporated as “Raljon” before Daniel Snyder bought the team (and when it was known as “Jack Kent Cooke Stadium.”

Make a case for a guy that probably won’t get in the Broncos ROF.

Try to convince the other member(s) of today’s pod of your case, though the DNVR family will be the ultimate judge, so be compelling!

Hey Fellas!
My much awaited package of DNVR merch has finally arrived. Since I gave my brothers the free t-shirts from the Christmas deal I haven’t had any DNVR swag to rep. I am now the proud owner of a Big Moose shirt and a DNVR hat and mask. 🙂
Mase, here’s your first crack at some Simpson’s trivia. In season 2 episode 8 entitled “Bart the Daredevil,” how does Homer eventually convince Bart not to attempt to jump Springfield Gorge on his skateboard?
Thanks for filling my days with sensible yet sensational sports talk.
Oh and Monarch High sucks.

MY BOYS!!
I heard you guys talking about how great the Mahomes contract is but I thought I saw something about it being cap tied, what exactly does this mean?? Also Do you think long contracts like this could be a normal for the NFL especially Non quarterback positions? For example, what is the max term that you would give to a guy like Justin Simmons if that brings the AAV value down, and how much will his AAV be on a 7-8 year contract (which would pay him till his mid 30s)? I think this could be a viable option to avoid paying him 15 million a year and use the savings to sign the offensive guys in a few years.

Congrats Zac on 10k followers!! And as Always thank you guy so very much for being with this community every day. Go DNVR!!

All this talk about the Hall of Fame recently, as well as other conversations about injury concerns, has me thinking … what players come to mind that if it weren’t for their injury-plagued careers would be a likely shoo-in for the HOF? The players in the HOF now were blessed with a culmination of “things in their control” (talent refinement, hard work, etc) and “things out of their control” (injuries, support from coaching staff, and being on a winning team). I thought it would be interesting to hear who you guys think would have been a 1st ballot HOFer given that the “things out of their control” category didn’t have a negative impact of their careers. The first couple that immediately come to mind are Bo Jackson and Bob Sanders. I would have put TD, but of course he was able to make it anyways. Thanks guys and keep up the awesome work!

Hey guys, I recall a few pods back you guys talking about daniel jones media hype compared to Drew locks and that got me thinking. So In this drought of sports content due to covid ive broadened my listening to hear what other networks and pods are saying and I just can’t help but notice that in general a lot of people think daniel jones is going to put up numbers this year, as long as he works on ball control. Then when mentioning drew lock the tone never seems that positive and there always seems to be more question marks. Now, I’m from NY and watched a lot of daniels games last season, but i just dont see it. I know media outside of Colorado (other than colin calherd) seems to sleep on the broncos but hyping up daniel jones more than drew lock just seems crazy to me at this point. Especially considering the difference in weapons they will have. So I guess my questions are am I crazy? Should daniel jones really have more hype then drew lock right now?

Apriciate the time!

My boys! I don’t comment much, but wanted to share with my DNVR family that I just found out my wife is expecting!

Thanks so much to all of you who help in the production of this podcast, it’s my slice of sanity in a crazy house with 5 + 1 or more on the way (praying for boys)!

You may remember my twin girls shouting “Go Broncos!” during the live draft podcast. I can’t wait to get a family picture with the newborns and everyone in DNVR gear and share it with you all! ?

It’s going to be a classic time of Hot pockets, PB&J’s and late nights of the bachelor, listening to this podcast while I continue to try and maintain a sense of reality as we move forward.

So thrilled that you all are in my life, and the loving community of the DNVR family. Can’t thank you all enough. Here’s to 75 nights or more of no sleep, a kid with the name Onion BOOTY Bronco on the table, and the assured fact of a visit to the DNVR bar as soon as we can travel for an RK special (can’t find Breck Brew here in the panhandle of Florida).

Cheers to you all! This FAM is the best!

Love to you all!

Just a quick shout out about the PSN Madden League. We have multiple teams available for new players! Our plan is to keep this league going and to start a new one on M21 when it comes out so people who join now will have almost a full season still we are on week 6 of year 2.

Hey guys,
It was great to finally see Mike Shanahan finally in the ring of fame. I’m not going to lie before Vic Fangio’s name was thrown in for the Broncos head coaching position I was hoping that Mike would get the job, especially since there were so many rumors saying there was interest on both sides. But I couldn’t have been be happier when we hired Vic. So my question is you have these 4 Broncos teams: 1997, 1998, 2013, & 2015. They are arguably the best Broncos teams in team history. How would you rank these teams? For me it would be the 1997 team 1st, 2015 team 2nd, 1998 team 3rd & 2013 team 4th. Hope you guys have a great day, thanks for all you do.

MY BOYS! Somehow, I neglected to include Britton Colquitt as a player who originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Broncos and then won a Super Bowl with the Broncos! My apologies! For some reason, I thought that he signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent, but it was actually Denver before Miami signed Colquitt to its practice squad following roster cuts in 2009. The Broncos then signed Colquitt to their active roster after the failed Mitch Berger experiment at punter. The KURSE OF KERN! . . . As head coach of the Broncos, Mike Shanahan went 20-6(!) against the Raiders. In his final season as a head coach with Washington, Shanahan stuck it to the Raiders one more time, in front of the Black Hole fans at Oakland, defeating them 24 to 14.

My question for today is: As of right now, who are your last four to make the Broncos’ 2020 roster and who are your last four not to make the Broncos’ 2020 roster?

As always, I thank you each. DNVRMY SALUTE!

***Hopefully, you get to this before it’s too late. Shanahan went 21-7, not 20-6, against the Raiders as Denver’s head coach. I somehow omitted the 2008 season.***

mase, you made a real good point about the chiefs not drafting well under brett veach.

have a look at their draft classes- in particular 2017 (outside of mahomes ofc) and 2018- and tell me if y’all have confidence that they can restock their roster when the vets get priced out. sure their 2018 first rounder was used as capital to trade up for mahomes, but they probably shouldn’t have bothered with the rest of the picks cause that draft class makes the 2017 broncos look like a success.

2019 was better for them, but juan thornhill is coming off an acl tear, and mecole hardman may/may not be a legitimate nfl receiver. we’ll see what happens with those two, but i feel like the talent gap- which was obvious when they faced the chiefs last season- can get closed pretty quickly if the broncos continue to draft better than them.

Gentlemen, happy hump day.

I often talk about older times, even as a younger person, because so much of the broncos popularity recently has been because of those recent times.

Today, however, I just want to shine a light on PFM. The guy came to the Broncos and saved us. Who knows where we would’ve been with Tebow, he put us on the map again and may have led the team to Drew Lock inadvertantly if this all plays out well.

Some of the throws Manning made were beautiful. I’ll never forget how well he played in that Ravens Divisional round loss, besides the pick at the end. He was one of the main reasons we took the lead.

So frustrating to think back on his legacy here because I feel like he should have had more hardware to show for it, but he is an all time Bronco and I hope he stays around the team forever.

Thanks for reading, Go Broncos!

Hey everyone,

Did make me laugh; Zac asking Mase if he’d hang a Tom Brady painting on his wall, and Mase’s overtly getting the jitters about it. Very funny….”would have to be one hell of a painting”…..lmao

Ok, serious stuff now…

Can we stop calling it the DNVR Madden League please? It is the DNVR “XBox” Madden League 😀 We have our own league on the superior PS4 you know 😉 Maybe Madden will be cross-play one day, that would be awesome.

Anyhow, I know Timmy, or at least I think it was him, has started a Dynasty Fantasy League too. I hear they have one spot left, or did at time of writing, but I personally couldn’t take part in that. I just don’t like playing Fantasy Leagues that are not IDP. Why do they even exist? Defensive Players need love too you know ?

Therefore, and I posed this question on Discord too, if there is enough interest, I am happy to start and run a DNVR Dynasty Keeper League for us all. Already had 6 people message me saying they’re in, so sounds like we should get some good momentum on this.

I’ve been Commissioner on a few fantasy leagues, on a variety of websites, but no decisions have made on which site to use, rules, or anything like that yet. Very early days. I am happy to pay for it, if on a paid website, and we can discuss rules, etc, when we have a decent amount of people committed.

Obviously open to all DNVR Members of Staff too, heck, we can even ask some players if they want to join ?

If you want in, you can message me on Discord; TheBigTebowski#9453

Peace Out and love to all

Hey fellas! Haven’t commented in awhile so forgive me if the comment runs a little long. I know I’m late to the conversation, but from being in the Pueblo area I would like to say the best doughnuts in Pueblo come from a place (not kidding) called Laundromat Doughnuts which is as you probably guessed it a laundromat/doughnut shop in Pueblo West lol. Now to my football based questions, even before Mahomes giant contract the Chiefs were going to lose some top talent. Who do you think/hope will be the first player gone? Also do you think the Broncos should take a shot at Logan Ryan? Thanks for the great content as always fellas!

Fellas! This one is mostly responding to the news of MarkITsnatch joining the evil empire! I’m also in the beer industry and am hurt two DNVR-ites (ians?) are now mortal enemies. You may get Sam Elliot, but I’ll take Breck brews and Clydesdales any day of the week ?.
Jokes aside congrats on landing the job! It’s a fun line of work, and I actually am broadening my horizons and am moving into the sales role downtown Springs. So if DNVR wants to run any meet ups in the Springs I can get something cooking through Breckenridge, just reach out to me on Twitter (@dylzthewest) and we’ll try to get a pint night or some other special going.
