Hey y’all, thanks for your coverage and content. While I was sitting in the south stands watching this abomination of an offense, i truly couldn’t see any difference between my last game sitting in the south stands..the 15-10 game vs Bengals last winter..another abomination. The short term common denominator between Russ and Rypien was solved today: the play caller, the Hackman. But also think it’s worth discussing the long term common denominator on offense between these “loser” teams from recent history: 2020 LT: Bolles, LG: Risner, C: Cush, RG: Glasgow, WR: Sutton, WR: Jeudy, WR: Hamler, RB: Melvin. Many schemes have come and gone, but these guys are still here somehow. Not saying blow it all up, but it is something to consider, as we are learning they’re not the blue chip talents that we thought that they were. And in fact, that they’re kinda just “losers”, like how RK has been trying to describe this losing mentality. I feel like this is kinda the same thing as that saying: doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results..these players have shown us many times that they aren’t at the required level to compete for the Denver Broncos. Anyway thanks y’all!

My boys! What a time with TD! My go-to jersey when the Broncos come into town. Special thanks to DNVR, of course. I just had to swing by and show some love to the greatest sports network of all time. Go Broncos and go DNVR!!!
Gunnar – OG listener from the RKxBK pod-in-a-closet days. Y’all the realest.
P.S., Hank really rounds this show out nice. I dig the vibes.
P.P.S., This team not only has the losing bug, but the injury bug as well. Who’s to blame for that in the long run? Safe travels!!!

If you were hypothetically writing a wee poem about the dark times in which a fanbase began to treat each other like the undead, and smashed each other into smithereens at every possible opportunity …

Would you use the phrase crying a river? lake? Or ocean? of tears was more sad?

Dear mighty three, I applaud you for keeping going. This is tough sledding! I am a naturally optimistic person but that is being sorely tested this season… it really has been garbage from the O.
BUT
It’s London week! Let’s park the 2-5. I STILL get to watch some live NFL just 100 miles from home! I STILL get to see the Broncos! And I STILL get to make a full weekend of it at the Broncos and DNVR events and meet you, the crew, and other members of the DNVR family. The on-field product is NOT going to destroy the vibes. Let’s go!

A question: What is the number one thing on each of your lists of places to visit or things to do while you’re in town?

I’ll see you Saturday.

Firing Paton would be insanity.

Remember that Paton hired Hackett before Wilson. It was a high upside but risky choice. A risk I’m inclined to think Paton consciously took.

If we didn’t get the quarterback and Hackett fails then it puts us in a good position to get the draft capital we need for a quarterback. We could then hire a new coach with them being in position to groom a top prospect. If Hackett succeeded then one problem is solved at least.

If we landed Rodgers or Wilson, as we did, and Hackett fails, as he is, then no problem. We go out to hire a new coach, offering a top quarterback and Walmart money to lure them here. In 2022 we didn’t have much to offer to a top coach but we have a lot to offer now.

If it turns out that Wilson is genuinely washed, then Paton should go. For now though it feels like he has at least another year for his strategy to play out.

Hi fellas, great analysis as always.
More of the same bleep we’ve experienced the last 6 years. It is truly astounding how almost everything about a team can change and the end result is the same…maybe this roster just isn’t as good as we thought? There are problems all over the place and RK’s leaky boat comparison is soo true. The good thing is that the Jags game is very winnable. So in this hypothetical USS Denver Broncos boat, what leak needs to be fixed first?

Leaky Boat syndrome is virtual death sentence. Look for the nearest tourist to stuff in the hole. It usually works for a bit.

I’m wondering where our offence would be if not for Javante’s injury. Would he have kept the running game going and provided better balance?

Am still hoping Hackett and the staff figure it out, was excited by the hire.

Thanks guys, have a great flight and trip to London. Love the coverage!

Can your homies over at Draft Kings get me the odds of the Broncos not winning another game this season?
With the strength of schedule remaining.
It’s probably even money right?

Fellas, and Supreme Producer Allie,

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that, while everyone nationally is doing their best to dunk on Russ while he’s down, he hasn’t lashed out, hasn’t hit twitter. He may be corny but I really respect that he has conducted himself humbly in the face of all this.

Cheers,
A.L.
