The way this will get fixed is politics. People keep acting like politics is some dirty thing that is best ignored. The reality is that the reason gun violence has become a problem is politics and the way it will get fixed is politics.
The first step is recognizing that there are politicians who do not have any interest in solving this. Stop talking about politicians or even parties as some monolithic blob of trash. There are good ones and bad ones. Go help the good ones.
There is legislation right now that might help. Every time more children die, legislation like that gets debated. In the end it doesn’t pass. Not because there aren’t good people who are trying to do something but because there are bad people desperate to do nothing.

Hey Guys, thanks for all your OTA coverage and for spreading the word about the Alzheimer’s Association Denver RivALZ Fundraising Program. I hope to see the DNVR fam register and join the fun. My comment is about the Peter King Power Ranking, primarily focused on the AFC West. If it wasn’t for our new coaching staff I feel we would be up there in the rankings. My HAWT take is objectively Denver is the second best roster in the AFC West. The Chiefs do not have a well known pass rush and their secondary weakened with Honey Badgers departure. The Raiders have a solid offense and two good edge linebackers (if you factor age) but their secondary is not that star studded and allowed some high scoring games last year. Unfortunately, the Chargers have the well rounded Star power on both sides and power rankings do not factor in “season shenanigans” like injuries, bad calls going for it all the time and other various things. Broncos on offense really needed a QB and the defense still has the same level of potential greatness in my eyes. It’s gonna be a fun season. Also for international team names you could have the “Berlin Barbarians” to reference their origins around the fall of the Roman Empire. The Roman Legions, Athens Olympians, and the Hungarian Devours. I am 50/50 on international expansion, unless they made a separate European league and had the Super Bowl champs for both leagues compete to be “dubbed” WORLD CHAMPIONS. Thanks for the great content guys, Go Broncos and Support Denver RivALZ.

I also have to add on that Javonte’s 3 TDs was the one against the Chargers, the horribly thrown pass in the flat vs the Lions where he broke tackles from behind the line of scrimmage and got the TD. He also got a passing TD against the Chiefs and he had a killer game running AND RECEIVING. He did not get chances to run them routes with the heavy run scheme and the faulty arm strength from Teddy after the start of the season. I’m the biggest Williams defender but I’m glad he will be able to split carriers to mitigate injury risks. He is a big reason why we can be a deadly top 3 offense!

My boys! I just want to say thank you for not only keeping us sane through these trying years but also addressing hard topics with passion the way you do. I mentioned on the pod previously, that I’m a firefighter and every part of my job. The Texas shooting has left me in tears for these families. I have a 7 year old boy and 3 year old girl. My wife’s also a school teacher. So it hit home pretty hard. Thanks for being amazing as always.. Stay safe..

Thank you for speaking on such an important topic. It’s been such an emotional couple of weeks and I dread the cycle you described. Even if we can’t vote in the senate, we can protest, cal our reps, vote for people who will pass gun reform, and invest in education. We are the only country in the developed world where this happens so often. We can make a change we just have to force it. Love you guys and all who need it this week.

My Boys!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve commented, sorry for the long one. I listen everyday going back to the BSN days, but normally don’t have much to say because someone else beat me to it! I was sad to hear Mase was leaving, but I’m excited for the throwback feel now with the classic RK & Zac pods. When RK’s busy I’m curious to hear what other DNVR folks have to say, especially Hank, Andre and AJ.
Your chat about the Dline had me thinking about two things that I missed you mentioning, what’s Mike Purcell’s health status and can DJ Jones play DE? If both are positive, I think the ideal base lineup for the front 5 is: Chubb-Jones-Purcell-Jones-Gregory. If/when one of the edges are hurt (touch wood for me) then the extra beef on the line should help Bonitto or Reed on the edge vs. the run. Totally agree with what you guys think in sub packages, so excited for this year with Russell Wilson!
About hockey, I’m an Oilers fan from Saskatchewan, Canada (north of Montana). I hope I’ll have Saturday off and be able to drive (8hrs) to Edmonton for Game 3 vs. the Avalanche. I was at the Kane hattrick game vs. the Calgary Flames, threw my hat of course, even though I could touch the rafters and 2 or 3 other people probably had to throw it to get to the ice. The atmosphere in Edmonton was amazing, it’s the second greatest sports game I’ve experienced. First was when my hometown Saskatchewan Roughriders won the CFL Grey Cup at home in Regina (the championship game rotates location like the NFL, so it’s pretty rare, even though we have less teams). The party after, packed in the streets with -20 C (-5 F) weather, was once in a lifetime.
I hope to make it out again to a DNVR tailgate or two this year (14 hr drive) and catch a game at Mile High. I had an amazing experience last year even though we lost to the Eagles. Go Broncos, Oilers, DNVR, especially the guys who fill in when Ryan’s busy, Iceman and the rest of you great commenters!!

hey guys!
seeing him go viral the other day made me recall the brendan langley receiver era with the broncos. obviously it didn’t go well because he didn’t make the team, but i remember him making a few players out there. kinda funny that he signed with the seahawks as a practice squad player after the broncos cut him so maybe he caught a ball or two from russ in practice or on the scout team
what do y’all remember about it?

Hey guys!
Missed one, so today’s a twofer.
Now that LeRoy Butler has been inducted, what Green Bay Packers is still waiting on a gold jacket?
And what Dallas Cowboy is also waiting on the Hall of Fame to recognize their accomplishments?

I have been curious with the how many wins does Russell equal. If we had him on this last year’s team. Which of our 10 losses would have been switched with Wilson?

Hey guys ! Hope u had an awesome weekend ! Dude have you seen the metric of who throws the furthest past the sticks on 3rd and 4th down ?? You have to see where Russ is and teddy is (spoiler alert Russ is #1 in most yards past the sticks on 3rd and 4th down ) it’s insane where teddy is Insane just saying this to say this is yet another metric that further let’s me know the national dismissal of these weapons is going to be the tomato in national medias face ESPECIALLY !!!! Especially constantly not acknowledging kj hamler as well so excited for the season have a good one fellas
