Lots of talk in Broncos Country about this being a nightmare scenario Super Bowl. Kansas City vs Tom Brady. Anybody that is still in full on panic mode about either one of them getting another ring just think of it this way, at the end of the game one of them will have to suffer through the agony of losing a Super Bowl. I can rest a little easier knowing that they will have come so close only to have it ripped away.

I believe Sean Paton would be very comfortable giving up 3 first’s, a couple players, and even 3 second’s for Watson. What have the Vikings been known for the last decade: drafting quality players throughout the draft; even in the lower rounds. Gentleman – Before all the Deshaun Watson talk, I used to fantasize about Denver getting Trevor Lawrence, and now with Deshaun becoming available – could there be hope of Trevor ending up in Denver? What are your thoughts about a 3 way trade with Jacksonville and Houston. Denver sends 2021 1st, 2nd, & 3rd round picks and 2022 1st & 2nd round picks, plus Drew Lock, Bradley Chubb, Timmy P, and Dre’Mont Jones to Houston, Houston sends Deshaun Watson to Jacksonville, and the Broncos get the number 1 overall pick and select Trevor Lawrence. If not this package, what would it take for Denver to move up to #1 overall?

I hope y’all are doing great. Today was so exciting. But I ocmpletely agree with Ryan when he said that this sets us up to be mad if we don’t get DeShaun. I think all of Broncos Country would be mad if DeShaun isn’t traded here. But, I don’t agree with something you said yesterday. I don’t think we name the stadium after Kareem if DeShaun comes to Denver. I think we name the CITY after him. Kareem, Colorado has a nice ring to it. Of course, I’m only joking (kind of) but you get the idea. I also wanted to say that you guys are the best. Regarding the website thing, I know that eventually it was back up, but you guys are just such kind people. A lot of podcasters would just carry on and not care about what we had to say if they weren’t able to read our comments. (You guys also are the only podcast I’ve ever listened to that reads comments every day, it’s incredible to feel that my voice matters and you enjoy hearing what we all have to say.) And then you guys had a plan that may have inconvenienced you guys, to do an episode that would probably take a really long time just to read all our comments. It is so clear how much you guys care about your fans. I think I can speak for all of the DNVR family when I say thank you. We all really appreciate and love you all. But let’s get into today’s questions.

The second question is if we have the scenario where we get Watson and give up a couple firsts, a couple seconds, Bradley Chubb, and Justin Simmons, what do you think our record is? I think we go 11-5, being the fifth or sixth seed in the playoffs. And what do you guys think the best case scenario is for this situation? If you give up most of the Farm, my friend says the Broncos are the team to still have success afterwards. Vic has shown what kind of a defense he can build without top round talent. One at least as good as the chiefs and if the Broncos retain their young offensive players you’d have an offense comparable to KC as well. Then Payton has a history of accumulating draft picks and capitalizing on later round picks. The only potential issue I see that is unprecedented is If the current OC and scheme will become a top 5 offense. I could see this as fairly easy to obtain if Pat fails because Watson would be the ultimate selling piece.
….my friend’s heart is starting to fall for Watson yet feels like Denver is a girl on the bachelor hoping that he will want us too

Ryan I laughed out loud when you said going from Watson to Mac Jones was like throwing cold water on a flame. Tbh I agree but don’t get it twisted I am 100% team Deshaun. I’m trying to give myself a rookie out (Mac) and a hedge out (Mariota) so that I don’t go into a blind rage when we don’t get Deshaun. After hearing yesterday’s pod though I am with Ryan; now I am officially invested and could ultimately be pretty mad if Paton screws the pooch on the Watson deal. If the raiders were to win on Watson over the Broncos then go ahead and get a new GM before the season starts lol. Jk but…. kind of serious.

I’m a little confused about the Raiders vs. Broncos trade war you’ve been talking about the last few days. If you’re already pontificating about the minuscule chance that the Broncos have for trading Watson, doesn’t Watson have a say in the trade because of his trade clause? For example, in a hypothetical situation, why would a trade war commence between the Broncos and Raiders if Watson says he does not want to join the hapless, Chucky led Raiders. My assumption is that D. Watson, in his own best interest, would like to join a team that doesn’t have to commit Seppuku in order to land him. While I hope that Jackson can push Watson towards the Broncos, the best option he has to win a Super Bowl, or two, or three is the Broncos, why would he choose any other team? There’s only one team committed to championships amongst his presumable top three, and that’s the Broncos, ownership be damned. Long question short, if D Watson doesn’t want to join the Raiders based on his trade clause, and he decides to join the Broncos, what will it cost? In my opinion, 3 first rounds, 2 seconds, Drew Lock, Bradley Chubb and Justin Simmons seems like a fair trade for an elusive QB. Y’all are the best Broncos commentators there is and I love DNVR, What say you, thanks!

Happy Friday guys! Mase I loved your article about Jerry Jeudy by the numbers. I can’t wait for next year when Jeudy proves the doubters and haters wrong when he absolutely goes off. Hopefully the quarterback play improves and his rate of catchable targets improves with it. Assuming Lock is the QB (although hoping that Watson is) what do you guys think is a realistic end of the season stats for Jeudy? is 1200 yards and 8 touchdowns realistic? Hey guys long time since commenting. To start off I feel like we need a Pat Bowlen Quote. “I want us to be number one at everything.” If the Broncos organization is trying to live up to Pat’s standard then Watson should be the only decision that needs to be made to get the team on track. I have been a huge supporter for Lock, but realistically do we think he can be a top 5 QB? That probably isn’t going to happen and with Watson hitting the market this should be a sign to Paton that he needs to do whatever it takes to make this happen.

The goal of the team should be to find some way to beat the Chiefs and no option out there would be able to do that besides getting Watson…can you make an argument otherwise?

Happy Super Bowl Friday!
I’ve really struggled this week to come up with a scenario where I could happily cheer for either team in the Super Bowl.
Then it hit me. As a Broncos fan cheering for the Chefs is like drinking turpentine, and cheering for Tom Brady is about as appealing as chewing glass.
But, say Tom comes down with a mysterious illness the day of the game, oh I don’t know, maybe from drinking too much tainted water or something and he has to spend the entire game in the bathroom like Lamar had to do earlier this year for a quarter or so.
I’d be one happy football fan to watch a Tom Brady-less Bucs team stomp on the Chiefs!
That’s my ultimate Super Bowl scenario. What’s yours?

Y’all keep saying everyone should be rooting for the Bucs Sunday but I will die on this hill rooting against Tom Brady. As a fellow Texan, who’s also excited that Mahomes somehow got Whataburger to Kansas City even though I’m in Omaha. I like Mahomes as he’s somewhat of a humble guy unlike Mr. Deflator himself, which Idk why he’s even so full of himself shouldn’t he be cool with just kissing his supermodel of a wife on the lips? Also have y’all heard about this story about Pat paying for everyone’s meal at a restaurant in KC after no one disturbed his meal with his fiancé lol. Then again, I’m the biggest Brady hater out there as I have a similar amount of hate that Michael Scott has for Toby. I also say there still is a huge GOAT debate as even though people say the Rings debate squashes it, no one says Bill Russell is the undisputed GOAT in basketball and he has the most rings by far. I think the beat down that is coming up and an early playoff exit for Tom next year will really stain his argument even though Peyton has some of those too. I’ll stick with my main argument being all the individual awards and records that Peyton won over Tom while they were both in the league while it took Tom a couple years after Peyton retired to try to catch up to his awards. Lastly did you see the crazy stat that cummutively Jake Delhomme’s 3 TD passes in 1 Superbowl traveled further than all of like 18 Brady’s TD pass in 10?

It’s Not Vic Fangios fault that John elway hired Vance Joeseph over Kyle shanhan so please stop saying Vic sucks because you are still frustrated with Vance Joseph’s wors their not the same coach and Jerry jeudy doesn’t interview well but it’s not his fault that orany broncos fault that their being asked questions about deshaun Watson …That’s on Drew ! …….
