How large would the spread have to be in order for you to bet on Denver to cover next week in Dallas? I love my Broncos but I’d take the Cowboys all the way up to -17 with Dak, maybe -10 without him. That D looks ferocious and Kellen Moore is brilliant.

So the Jets beat the Bengals, the Bengals beat the Ravens, the Ravens beat us and we shut out the Jets? Not really sure what to make of that but there have been enough games this season that made no sense that make me feel like the Broncos just might be able to win some games they’re not supposed to. I’d like to see this coaching staff gone at the end of the season but I don’t think that means we need to lay down and die for better draft picks. My hope for the rest of the season is that we wholesale commit to the run, we play our younger guys to build confidence and experience and we win a couple games that no one thinks we should have. I think we could do that and still have justification for moving on from this coaching staff at the end of the season.

hey guys- ok so a few thoughts i had;
1) i remember zac saying that massie was the best player on the o-line- yesterday and for the season. i’d have to disagree. i thought bolles played his best game yesterday. i don’t remember chase young’s name getting called all game besides that fumble at the end, and his run blocking looked pretty good from what i saw.
2) given that jameis is out for the near future, and given sean payton’s familiarity and success with teddy, what could they offer y’all to move on from him? i don’t see a scenario where the coaches allow it to happen, but what offer would make y’all pull the trigger?

Gentlemen,
The feeling towards this team is just meh. It’s boring it’s uninspiring and quite frankly we have little to look forward to. We won’t beat a side with a winning record and we only put up 17 points against a bad WFT. It’s not a Teddy/Drew thing it’s a coaching thing. Vic is no good and I personally can not wait until he is gone!
Been supporting this team since 1997 when I was a 10 year old boy from Wales! And I must add it’s the worst I’ve felt! This accompanied with being a Man UTD fan (Mase will get it) is very tough as two fallen giants!
Much love WB170

Yo fellas. My take aways from the game:
1. Albert O is undoubtedly better than Noah Fant
2. Kenny Young is a baller.
3. Mr. B
4. Justin Simmons is back
5. Fumble aside, Melvin Gordon is our best offensive player right now.
6. This team will never be anything more than average with the philosophy and coaching staff that we currently have. We make everything look 10x more difficult than what they should be, especially on offense. First downs feel like touchdowns when I watch and that is pathetic.

We beat a bad team, cool. If we play like this against the Cowboys this week, with or without Dak Prescott, it will be UGLY.
Also, if I have to watch Teddy check down throw another 5 yard crosser on third and 8 or a tight end screen on 3rd and 12 I’m gonna lose it. I can not take this offense anymore. Vic said its hard to win games when you can’t convert on third down, no bleep. And yet we keep calling plays or have the inability to run the plays called correctly to convert. Its hard to watch anymore.

My boys!
Oh boy, where to begin…
That “win” on Sunday was brutal. One of the worst games offensively I’ve ever seen. That last offensive possession was borderline-poverty status and it just screams bad coaching. How are we 4-4 right now?
I’m actually not as excited about traveling to Dallas this weekend as I was before – I’m going to be missing a great sports weekend in Columbus (CBJ and Crew games) to go watch this game – hopefully the boys pull off a miracle in Dallas and it will all be worth it.
Maybe I can meet up with Mase? We shall see!

How clever for the Broncos defense to dress up as a professional unit on Halloween. Where in the world has this been. Maybe they should pretend it’s Halloween every Sunday lol
Also think Young can be solid. I kept seeing 41 all over the field before I knew it was him. Thought it was another backup for some reason. Didn’t expect him to play so much already. And Browning was solid as well. About time the LB room showed up to a football game.

Wouldn’t you imagine at this point that Pat Shurmur himself actually wants to be fired? The stench of failure is everywhere in the organization and he can’t be happy about how he’s taking so much of the blame and having his reputation tarnished in Denver. Quitting would be even worse and of course he is going to try to do the very best he can, but I think he’d be glad for this nightmare to be over as much as the fans.

Fellas,
I’m going to be rooting for the Rams to win the Super Bowl just for Von. But with his Bronco career over where does he rank among players that were drafted by the Broncos and played most of their career for Denver?
My top 5 are:
5: Steve Atwater
4: Von Miller
3: Terrell Davis
2: Floyd Little
1: Shannon Sharpe
How say you?
Orange Crushing It
I had a plan to write a comment outlining why this whole coaching philosophy is still rooted in John Elways hires (including George Paton), and that we need ALL new faces to make a change. Then Von was traded.
The fact that Von was traded is understandable. He was going to likely be out after this season and Paton got some value, and Von has a chance to get another ring before he hangs em up. That being said – the fact that Von was traded before a single member of this coaching staff left the building is a slap in the face to the team they ask to sacrifice their bodies week in and week out, and a giant spit in the face of this fan base. They’re really going to trade arguably the best defensive player in Broncos history, then ask the fans to show up and watch a team still coached by Mr. “Run Run Pass”. The Broncos have been poorly coached since Manning left, and we’ve spent too many years watching boring, old school, lazy football. I think I speak for us all when I say I’d rather watch an exciting energetic loss than a win like they had over Washington. This Von Miller move is the latest is abhorrent moves by this team.
Go Rams.
