A bit of an odd question and I’m not sure it is something anyone would actually do, but I’ll ask anyway.. With the offseason being what it is and bottom of the roster guys have limited opportunities to make the team, do you think it would actually be a benefit for one or more of these guys to ‘opt-out’. They could come back next year after a year of training and maybe have a better chance of catching on, or at least having a chance to put some tape out there for another team.

Favorite non-sports related antique/souvenir/memorabilia that you’ve kept? It’s the single thing you get to save from your life already lived – and it can’t be a box of photos in this scenario.

Hey guys, back again from yesterday and I wanted to say that my opinion for the most underrated player on the super bowl 50 team was Brandon McManus as well! He goes far underrated in my mind ( until he gets behind 50 yards but shhh). My question to you today is if you could compare another great receiver to Jerry jeudy, who would it be. Thanks gentleman, happy sunny Thursday from Montana.
Kendall Hinton, Hall of Famer
Glad someone else brought up fantasy, I always want to grab Broncos players but the value never feels right so someone else always ends up with my favorite players. And I wasn’t smart enough to grab Lindsay before he broke out that first year. I will have plenty of shares of Fant this year though.
And Zac, I have been binging Chuck with my girlfriend. I remember it being mentioned on the podcast, coincidentally she’s a big fan of the show and she started re-watching it a couple months later. She really wanted me to see it so we started watching together. It is truly a great, funny, dramatic action-packed show; it’s a unique blend.
I also enjoy giving DNVR the credit for turning me onto the show even though she truly was the one who got me watching. But between teasing her about that and swooning over Sarah (played by the wonderful Yvonne Strahovski), I’m not doing my relationship any favors haha.

Hey guys!
Of the roster moves made this week, the one that had me shaking my head was cutting Khalfani Muhammad. The dude, while still quite raw, is a beast. He could’ve easily beaten out Royce Freeman for the 3rd RB position. There’s no way he get passed on through the waiver process. Goodbye to what could’ve been a great sneak attack behind the two headed monster in “Philvin Gordsey”. I don’t know if there is a name blend that works with Phil and Melvin, but that’s the best I got.
Anyway, let’s talk about the New Jersey Butt Fumbles. Believe it or not, the Jets and Broncos have had a good rivalry over the years. All time, Denver leads 20-16-1. The greatest game that didn’t go Denver’s way is easily the 1962 Thanksgiving game, where the then New York Titans blew a 24-7 lead early, only to overcome a 45-32 deficit to edge Denver 46-45. The only time these two have met in the playoffs, of course, was the 1998 AFC championship game, wherein NY went up 10-0 early in the third, only to completely fall apart and allow 23 unanswered points. Denver has also blanked the Jets twice in the last 15 years. Do any other games come to mind, and what was the best game against Gang Green? And what about your Bucs, Mase?

My Boys!! Happy Thursday. Let’s talk some Broncos Football:
Jerry Jeudy in a Broncos jersey looked so perfect I almost fainted. Damn, how cool is it that we get to add a bonafide playmaker like him and Hamler, and then on top of that reinforcing the TE room and adding Lloyd Cushenberry at Center. I am SO excited for this offense. On another not though I have a question:
What is the best Throw in Broncos history?
Best catch?
Best run?
Thanks for answering. Have a great one

Hey guys, i was so happy yesterday to see Broncos players in uniforms on the practice field, the draft felt like it was like a decade ago.
I am loving Mase’s articles on the battles for each position and was wondering if you think Hammler can eventually overtake the punt and kick returner job? Or is Spencer a lock to make the 53?.
One more thing, i still dont belive we got Casey for a 7th rounder, he is a beast on the field and is a better person off the field, he already is proving to be a great adition to this community and i think can help Dremont and Agim to become our next wave of great D linmen.
For the people just listening go rigth now and subscribe, the guys coverage on the website of training camp is the best by far you will find out there, if you are a Broncos fan you cant miss it.
I hope everyone on the DNVR community is safe and healthy

let’s talk trades!!
what do y’all think of trading tim patrick for josh jackson. devin funchess opted out for the season so the packers desperately need a big bodied receiver to play on the outside. lafleur runs a system that isn’t too far removed from what scangarello ran last year so there’s some familiarity there.
patrick is in a contract year and there are some other receivers (tyrie cleveland, juwann winfree) who offer a similar size/speed profile and cleveland offers similar special teams prowess. jackson has fallen out of favor in green bay but showed great ball skills and instincts when playing in a zone scheme at iowa. also offers versatility to play safety and in the slot if neccesary.
the bears held a pre-draft visit with josh jackson so there may have been interest from fangio back then and the broncos can add another 2018 corner to their collection

Greetings gents,
Listening over the past couple of days and I was thinking about the conversation about the bubble system that we could potentially see in the future assuming things dont take a downward trajectory. Would the bubbles be divided amongst geographically similar teams or just divide them up amongst divisions? Could we see an AFC west vs NFC west bubble? Same goes for all divisions. Also would they all be more like round Robin tournaments? Great to have you back Zac attack. Let’s all take on the day!
Go Broncos, go dnvr!

What’s up fellas!? It seems like some fan bases are just way more annoying than others. Even though I’m from Pueblo it seems like I’m always surrounded by Cowboys and Raiders fans. So my question to you is what fan bases annoy you the most? Mine would have to be
1. Raiders
2. Cowboys (Fun fact have never beat the Broncos in my life time, born in 1998)
3. Patriots
4. Chiefs
5. Steelers
Thanks for the great content fellas yuh boiii Wildcard!

What’s up guys?
Who do you believe is poised to make the biggest leap in 2020 on the Broncos excluding Drew Lock

Top o’ the morning, lads!
Appreciate your response the other day regarding COVID. I too think we need the bubble system in the NFL and I predict it will happen in one way or another.
My question today is a bit random, but one I’ve wanted to ask yall for awhile. Why does everyone dog on Royce Freeman so much?! Sure he hasn’t been spectacular, maybe overhyped, yes. But I feel like a lot of people arent even giving the guy a chance after only 2 seasons!
3.9 yards per carry? 1 fumble on 262 attempts? Heck that sure ain’t bad! I feel like he could most definitely be a secret weapon as a receiving option or even an RB3 to throw into the rotation, and hes a great redzone option if you need a goal-line bruiser, in my opinion.
So yeah! Why all the Royce hate? Thanks as always dudes, keep it fresh and happy Thirsty Thursday (brought to you by Breck Brews).
Much love,
-Colin-

One more quick thought… Let’s make a DNVR jersey with “72, Gumballs” on the back. I’ll buy it. ?

MY BOYS! It’s Thursday, July 30, 2020, and Jerry Jeudy is still a Bronco. Somehow, someway, the Broncos drafted him with the fifteenth overall selection without having to trade up to get him. Some three months later, I am still floored at the Broncos’ fortunes in that regard. Seeing Jeudy and other Broncos’ players on the Dove Valley practice fields in jerseys and other team gear was, as Mase tweeted yesterday, a sight for sore eyes. . . . My question for today goes back to Tuesday’s ZOOM media session. Does Vic Fangio like to push buttons with certain players through the media like Bill Parcells did? What do you make of Fangio’s latest public comments about Von Miller? It seems like Miller, in particular, is often being criticized and challenged, sometimes unjustifiably, by Fangio.
As always, thank you for the manner in which you each cover the beloved Orange and Blue. DNVRMY SALUTE!
LAbronco30
Greetings Pod Gods!
This season will be the first since the Chargers moved to LA that I won’t be seeing my Broncos playing live in LA. This year I was so excited to see either the new Vegas stadium or LA stadium, or possibly both, with the Orange and Blue. However covid came in and crushed my dreams.
Anyway, my question refers to its impact on you guys on game days. Sorry if it’s been covered but I haven’t heard. I expect that you and any other press would not be allowed in the locker rooms anymore. But what about the press box? I envision it is typically a tight space packed with local and national media, especially depending on the game. Has the NFL or the team released anything about this. Locker room presence, press box, post game press conferences, etc. How will the media personnel be impacted?
Stay safe. Stay healthy. I appreciate you guys so much and making each of my mornings during the pandemic brighter.
Also, any more rumblings of players opting out this season?
