It was defensive holding. It was clear. Patrick Mahomes saw it and purposefully threw the ball in the area the reciever was going to be in. He forced their hand. I wish that they hadn’t called it. They could have overlooked it. They didn’t. It was the right call. They should have let them play ball instead.
I just can’t argue the call, as much as I hated it.

I thought that too but holding is before the ball is thrown. But I think my issue is the equity of calls towards opponents to the Chiefs.

RK, I don’t know how you do this podcast with a Chiefs fan and a Chargers fan! I kid I kid. Great conversation about what was a fun game unfortunately tainted by inconsistent officiating that just so happened to favor the Chiefs.
Boy am I glad the Broncos got SP when they did. It seems like the other teams are pretty much SOL and their ownership/management are just playing damage control at this point. Now that everything has settled, how are we feeling about the ownership group?

My issue with the penalties is the equity of calls towards opponents compared to the Chiefs. Biggest one was the Bengals game where there was an illegal block in the back on the punt return that set them up for that game winning field goal. I think it would be solid to snag Ryan as DC. I just hope when it comes to Hockey and Basketball this year that the right teams win. Other than the Avs winning the cup all the villains have won the championships (Warriors, Chiefs and Astros). Let’s hope for better Broncos football next season as well with Coach SP! Go DNVR and Support Denver RivALZ!!

I have a conspiracy theory – a while back you were talking about new slogans. I hit the chat with a “Buck Em”, but wasn’t overly hopeful as that doesn’t seem too family friendly at face value. Imagine my glee when SP himself put his stamp on it! Definitely he saw my comment, and therefore SP must be a secret diehard.
Is there any way we can get Eric Bieniemy away from the Chiefs for our OC? I think it’s time to deplete their roster in any way we can. Jerick Mackinnon, Orlando Brown, anything to make us better and them worse!
