My boys! Here comes a long on, but totally worth it. First, im taking my son and brother-in-law to the game. My brother is a retired marine and I heard this was a salute to service game. Love it! Putting it out to any North Carolina Broncos fans and DNVR fam that we’re looking for a good tailgate for the game!
Here it goes… I’m feeling a big comeback against the Panthers. Being on the east coast, I don’t get to see the broncos in person often. I’ve only attended 4 games in my life. Touching major wood for this next part: I’ve only seen them win once. September 22, 1991 at home against the San Diego Chargers. Then came back to back losses to Washington at FedEx in 2009 and Christmas Eve of 2017. Finally last year at Pittsburg. I’m hoping to pick up where I left off 21 years ago and finally see a dub!
Now a special for Numbees, and why I think this will be a big bounce back. The winning score in all the games I’ve been to has been 27 points! 27-19, 17-27, 11-27, and 19-27 respectively. Talk about getting over the 18 point hump!

There is no way Hackett should survive after this game. This has to be the worst team I’ve ever seen in 40 years of being a Broncos fan. I can;t watch anymore, I’ll follow you guys to keep me up to speed as to what’s going on. I’m done for this year.
Honestly, if Russ is really still dealing with the torn lat and bad hamstring, then just sit him. We’re not competitive and I don’t see what favours we’re doing him by having him playing hurt behind a bad o-line in a scheme he clearly isn’t comfortable with.
It’s time to look to next season. Have Ryp finish out the year with Hackett and Kubes, let Russ get healthy and plan to start over next season with a scheme that helps compensate for his limitations like they did in Seattle for a decade. It’s also time for Russ to make peace with the fact that he’s not a traditional pocket passer like Rogers, Brady, etc. and he doesn’t need to be.
