Orange and Blue coming for YOU
Hey Mase, when you yell “75” in your house, does it scare the Nick Wright out of your family? If the joke above is not clear, Nick Wright is SHIT. Have a great Monday and have a hop peak IPA for me my boys.
Andrew Mason
Actually, my daughter loves it … she now says “75!” the way I do and has explained the reference to her classmates!
DoubleD
Forgive me Mase, love the supersized “75”, but what is the reference?

I suspect Elway’s exit is less about the Super Bowl and more about team ownership. It’s likely that we could see that change in the next year or two. That would be a natural transition point for him, stepping down with the end of the Bowlen era.
It makes sense for whoever ends up with the team wanting to have their own face of the franchise going forward. If the Bowlens retain ownership then Elway can take that figurehead role. If they don’t he moves on.

Hey guys!
I just wanted to point out that “mule clock lock” wouldn’t be that great as mules are sterile. Since they are the ross species offspring of a female horse and a male donkey, they are not viable for reproduction. Not to be confused with a hinney, which is the opposite pairing.
But in that train of thought, if the team is collectively a mule, is a late game comeback a cavalry charge, a long catch and run a derby race, and a clutch sack a donkey punch? What other terrible puns can you take off with?
MarkITsnatch
Sorry, one last pun. Let’s walk away from empower field and rename it the Hippodrome @ mile high

Hey guys,
Thanks for entertaining my game idea even if you changed the rules a little bit, either way it was entertaining and great fun. I know the rules weren’t fair but I don’t see how else to do it in this format, plus I truly believed there was enough remaining talent in the league to put together a competitive squad. And i’d be happy to swap Mahomes, I’ll take Russ.
But I’ll try to take a break from the time consuming comments and keep em short and sweet.
I’ll also be the second Las Vegas dweller to state that I’d rather drive 11 hours to go to your Bar than go literally anywhere here in Vegas. Please keep us updated on the GRAND GRAND opening news cause I will do everything I can to be there.
PS. any Vegas Broncos fans that wanna connect for future watch parties or something email me at mikelhopkins94@icloud.com (I’ll hit up the discord lounge too)
Thanks for being amazing guys.
I Have Spoken. MileHighMike.

Gentlemen, if you are reading this, that means it’s Monday June with and only 30 days away from legal online sports betting in Virginia. I’m not much of a gambler but a lot of these lines are more like investments and that I can get behind. Now one gamble I may take is +1600 for Jerry Jeudy to win Offensive ROY. What do yall think about that? The only players with better odds are Joe Burrow (+250), Clyde Edwards-Helaire (+600), Jonathan Taylor (+800), and Tua (+1000).
Also this is going to double as Zac’s accountability post. Have you watched Old Gregg yet?

There are moments in life where you can sense for just how meaningful a connection may be with someone or something. It’s like that girl or guy you’ve been dating for a while, and you find they just don’t feel the same way about truly meaningful stuff you maybe don’t talk about on those first dates. Sure, it is fun till then, but that disappointed feeling or that obvious fact you can’t get around end up being what ends it. The same is true for those friends and partners where those moments show that the partnership can run deep, and for a very long time. Never perfect, not always fun, but there’s a deeper alignment that makes friendship or connection be able to get through time, distance or shallow differences of opinion.
Well DNVR, Spano’s video RE: the bar closing and his position on the demonstrations was such a moment. It’s not that I ever doubted it, but equally the moment to be so blatantly obviously aligned to what I believe to be right and fair doesn’t come often (nor should
it as the pods would be way too serious).
It’s painful seeing what is going on the US, and it was awful seeing it unfold in Denver. But hopefully it’s a sign of change – the world knows you need it desperately.
I feel for you guys and everything you’re going through but am equally proud to be part of the community.
Hope you read this as I know it
may be a touch on the “political side” – but as Spano said, this isn’t about politics anymore. It’s about community.

Hey guys. I don’t comment much but I just want to say this to the entire DNVR family across the US: Take care of yourselves, your loved ones and your friends and stay safe.
Sitting here in Denmark I can’t imagine what it’s like to be living right in the middle of it all. Stay safe – You’re all in my thoughts.

Thank you, Brandon Spano. Thank you, DNVR. Thank you for standing for justice that goes beyond race. It’s easy to be sad for a moment and move on because it doesn’t directly affect you. Like anything worth having in this life, it takes movement and effort, and the willingness to be uncomfortable to truly grow.
It starts with having conversations that make us uncomfortable, with expanding our circle of trust beyond people that only look like us. It takes encouraging our children to expand their horizons when it comes to building friendships, to learn about other people and the experiences and perspectives they have.
This community and this pod is something I engage with on a daily basis. Many of us use it as an escape. It just didn’t seem appropriate not to share with my DNVR family a part of my life and what’s on my heart during this time.
Thanks for listening. Wishing everyone well. Hug your loved ones and be safe.

Hey, guys, it’s about 11 pm Sunday night here in the central time zone, I’m kinda tanked, had a nice little 20 bomb of Millet high life’s today/ tonight and smoked some ribs Memphis style, I think you 3 would love a weekend with me, really love you guys!!
My question is today is, what’s a more likely outcome this season? Drew Lock MVP, or Bradley Chubb comeback player of the year / DPOY?
Hope you guys are thriving out there, can’t wait to come to the bar on good ole Colfax.
Go DNVR,

World of Suck
Hey guys, I know it’s not my place to jump in the comment section with my political or social opinions, so I won’t do that, but I will say this: the world sucks right now. So if you get a chance, go out of your way to do something nice for someone today. Do something awesome for your family or friends. Maybe pay for the person in line behind you. Buy some flowers for the lady friend. Lord knows we all need a bit of hope these days. Spread some love; it’s what we need.
World of Suck
(Not directed at you three in particular, but everyone!)
Andrew Mason
It’s to a slasher film Steve Atwater and Ray Crockett co-produced, called “Se7enty-5ive” (later renamed “Dead Tone” for digital/DVD release). There’s a scene in there where a character slams a speakerphone down on a table and bellows, “SEVENTY-FIVE!” when asked about playing a game. (The game is prank-calling someone with the goal of keeping that person on the line for 75 seconds. Of course, the college kids playing the game call the wrong person, they don’t Star-69 the line, and killing ensues.)
DoubleD
Wow, that’s truly obscure, yet, totally appropriate. Genius resides on the fringes. Thank you sir.

***Roll up, roll up, calling all Texans Fans***
Anyone??? No???? Naaaaaa, didn’t think so 🙁
Well, we still have one team available in the PS4 DNVR Madden League, and that’s The Texans! Any takers?? They have Danielle Hunter, T.J Watt, Kyle Fuller, Devin White, Brandon Cooks, Doug Martin, and Sham Newton. Not too shabby, and they are 7-7 I think..
We are in Week 16, but they haven’t made the playoffs, so perhaps we can get someone to take over for next season? It’s a lot of fun, and their teams is reasonable.
Oh, and technically there are two ‘teams’ available, but the other team is the Raiders, and they’re more of a car crash than a team, so thought it futile to try and recruit an owner for THAT franchise in here. I’d rather not be in the league than be them, so totally understand.
The league is a lot of fun, and we have a good bunch of guys, with a variety of Madden abilities. We have guys that make you wonder if they do anything other than play Madden, others who have never played before, and everything in between.
Shout out to all the members, especially SuperBowlen, for making the league so fun.

Hey Guys hope ur safe and had an awesome weekend …..I wrestled with if I should speak on this …. But we are broncos family and a bronco DEEPLY HURT MY FEELING’S ….I love Justin Simmons I’m a fan and what he did the other day was awesome I’m fighting for equality but what he said is counterproductive to the real fight against systematic racisim ….When Justin said I’m Bi-Racial my dad is black my mom is white I UNDERSTAND THE PAIN ON BOTH SIDES ” That hurt !!! That is rhetoric that attempts to make White people feel comfortable about addressing and doing something about Racism and THAT frustrated me …… (Put a pin in this ) rewind go to CHAMP.Bailey amazing Hof speech ….. What champ.spoke.to is what African Americans need our Allies IN white people and other races to do in joining.us against.this fight HEAR US UNDERSTAND US EMPATHIZE WITH US AND LISTEN !!! These are two different approaches to true equality however Justin’s is not effective it only allows for a bone to be thrown OUR way maybe that officer gets 3rd degree murder maybe those officers get probation ….. BUT THE FIGHT IS FAR FROM OVER !!! And I’m sorry but certain people want to feel comfortable in their privledge so that they don’t have to adress the uncomfortable things in America Justin Catered to that and that’s all people want they want to feel validated and not really adress and eradicate systematic racism and as a result THE FIGHT GOES ON ……I love the dnvr family….. But to all. My white Allies out there who felt this was an injustice ….JOIN US IN THE FIGHT TO COMBAT SYSTEMATIC RACISIM BECAUSE ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO !!!!!! ….. Not because we provided a space for you to feel comfortable speaking up !!!! Like c’mon !!!! Justin how could u say that ur such and awesome man why u have to say that super dissapointed ….fellas you stay safe promise I’ll get back to football tommorow

Happy Monday gentlemen, sorry if this is long as a comment. It’s my second time and I will trim if necessary!
Favorite past Bronco, favorite current Bronco, favorite past non bronco and favorite current non Bronco? I will start!
(Excluding Elway of course who prob is most Broncos fans Favorite)
Past Bronco- Very hard to pick. I’ll probably go with Rod because I always have a soft spot for receivers and he was a STUD.
Current- Drew Lock baby! But I love the whole offense right now. Can’t wait for 2021!
Past Non-Bronco- Barry Sanders. Don’t need to say much more. To me he is the greatest player I’ve ever seen play. I never rock Non-Broncos jerseys but an old school Sanders jersey might tempt me.
Current non-Bronco- AJ Green. To me he is one of the most underrated receivers EVER. This guy can catch anything, runs great routes, is an EXCELLENT boundary receiver. Remember when he was tearing us up with AJ MCCARON at QB that one MNF game in 2015? Yea I really like AJ. And as funny as it sounds I prefer him to never be a Bronco. Hope he retires a Bengal because imo he is one of the best players they’ve ever had.

MY BOYS! With all that is going on in Minneapolis, Denver, and throughout the United States right now, anything that I have to say feels trivial. Nevertheless, here are the answers to my trivia question from last time, along with a correction. First, the correction: Peyton Manning did throw a touchdown pass to a player who wore jersey number 15 in Blair White, who caught five TDs from Manning in 2010 with the Colts. The first non-skilled position player to catch touchdown passes from Manning was Dan Klecko, who wore number 61. He actually caught two touchdown passes from Manning in the 2006 season. One in the regular season and another in that season’s AFC Championship Game against his original team, the Patriots. The second non-skilled position player to do so is someone we all know well, Eaton, Colorado native who donned jersey number 96, Mitch Unrein. And of course, Unrein had to accomplish this feat against Mase’s Bucs. 🙂
I don’t have a question for today, but I thought that I would share a quote for a nation in need of individual and collective change and healing: “Love is the only force that can erase the differences between people or bridge the chasms of bitterness. . . . It is not enough just to be good. We must be good for something. We must contribute good to the world. The world must be a better place for our presence. And the good that is in us must be spread to others. This is the measure of our civility.” ―Gordon B. Hinckley
I appreciate each of you and this community that you have built and continue to build. DNVRMY SALUTE!

Greetings Gents,
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. First and foremost thank you guys at DNVR for being an escape from the sometimes dystopian view of the world that is happening around us. Don’t think I can express that enough.
Secondly, Ryan I wanted you to know that my comment last time up was not at all a slight at you. Keep being you man! I love sports too but sometimes things just dont move the needle for me, thats all.
3 for Mr B.
Finally my broncos related comment of the day. With all the uncertainty around the broncos ownership, do think the NFL will renege their policy on franchises owned by owners and ownership groups and go for more of a green bay packers type of approach to team ownership?
Also, side note, Mase why dont you ever get on THE DNVR Sports podcast with the rest of the crew. Zac and Ryan, I still love hearing you guys on that pod but I feel as though mase would spice it up sometimes.
Anyways, bless you all and happy monday!

Hey guys, was watching some of bouye’s 2019 tape and ended up having some concerns about him, like a lot of the times that he played off coverage he allowed recepcions, he was fairly good when he played press especially on fly routes, however something else I noticed was that he lost a lot when the receivers cut inside, he lost consistenly on drag routes and slants, if you watch him against Mike evans, evans beats him almost every time he cuts inside, so what i wanted to ask you was if the broncos defensive scheme can cover up some of this aspects of his game and really explore him where his game is really good at? Thanks as always for such a great pod.
