How many head coaching interviews did Kevin O’Connell have this cycle? If he’s the favorite are there any other teams that we’d be competing against to hire him?
Stevfast
Hey guys!
Sorry upfront as this is a little bit lengthy. That won’t always be the case, but I am a brand new member!
I’ve been listening for two years or so and found you guys during COVID to help kill time but it’s become a daily habit during workouts or driving to listen so thank you for what y’all do!
I was listening to yesterday’s show and heard you guys talking about Dan Quinn and GP liking but not loving each other – that got me thrilling of another option and I know how much you love conspiracy theories so here ya go:
Is it possible GP and Dan Quinn already have this all planned out and the broncos are just letting him visit other teams to simply get more intel on players etc?…?
Anyway, glad to have joined and I look forward to seeing you guys next time I’m in Denver. I left colorado 13 years ago and have been all over the country since. But now I live between LA and Vegas so I will be getting to go to games every year finally. Hopefully I can find some of the other community members that live out here to meet up and watch games together.
I know my theory is half a joke but hey – If we see a trade with Chicago this season that seems to really favor us…you’ll know why lol.

Hi guys,
Just got to have my say regarding Aaron Rodgers, his team mates dont have to like him, all they have to do is block for him and catch his passes, I’m pretty sure that when the WR team are putting up big yardage and TD figures, all will be forgiven, and as for the fan base not wanting Rodgers, they’ll be the Drew Lock sycophants still salty their guy isnt the starter!
Cheers
Nathaniel “I’ve got to be better” Hackett
Not sure if you guys have mentioned this or not, but I really thought Vic would have interviewed for a DC job by now, is there any reason he hasn’t?
Also, did you guys see Marquette King’s Tweet last week, and what Su’a Cravens said as well?
Marquette said, “Now that mcmahon is gone I’m down to pick up where we left off. Tell them to Call my agent.”
Su’a quote retweeted and said, “I’d be upset as a specialist too if my coaches one & only constant critique was that I punt the ball to “high and far” because he wants to give his kick coverage a chance to tackle lol if he’s kicking the ball out of bounds and flipping field position why would it matter?! smh”
Thoughts on a reunion??

I live in Anchorage, Alaska. We have a very large Hispanic population here, and some very good south of the border cuisine.
I admit I may not be the best judge because on a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being very hot, my tolerance is about a 1.2
Thanks for the coverage as always.
Roleplay Time:
I’m George Paton. I know Dan Quinn wants to work with me and Denver is his top choice. We have a solid first interview and I tell him “Hey, we’re gonna continue this interview process but if you get an offer from someone else before we bring you back for round 2, call me first.”
Now I look to the committee; Mougey likes O’Connell, Kleine/Jackson/Smythe are split between the three candidates, and I like Quinn. What’s the play?
I let the second round of interviews play out and allow the committee to make their case. If I get sold on O’Connell or Hackett, great! If not, I’m prepared to go with my pick and make a move on Quinn. No need to rush.

hey guys,
so did we underestimate the importance that darren mougey has in the front office?
i remember a lot of media expecting that brian stark or an external candidate like champ kelly was going to get the job as paton’s number 2- especially in an era where teams are being incentivized to develop minority candidates in the front office (kelly kleine presumably falls into this as well so it’s not like the broncos are totally oblivious to this), so it seemed like a bit of a surprise from an outsiders POV when mougey got the job over some other candidates.
if kevin o’connell ends up being the hire, should we be viewing mougey as someone with some serious pull in the decision making? i remember zac saying that patrick smyth is the second most powerful person in the organization, but it’d be hard to argue that mougey wouldn’t have that title if he manages to influence the coaching hire as much as it would appear
what do y’all think?

Happy Thursday everyone!
First off, have loved every step of this coaching search with you guys. It’s been the most enjoyable offseason I’ve had with the team since I started following a few years ago when I moved to Denver.
Second, WOW we have a coach and it’s not the guy anyone really thought! I know y’all will cover so much about this on the pod before getting to this comment, but am hoping y’all can help bolster my confidence in Coach Hackett since he was #3 on my list of the 3 second interviews, because I want to be all in on him.
It’s a great day to be a Bronco!

WAKE UP BOYS!!! WE GOT A COACH!!
Howler Bro Surf
The domino has fallen! We have a coach! I was hoping for KOC but Hacket can be exciting. I know I’m in the minority here but I’m really hoping that he doesn’t bring Rodgers with him. Give me Wilson or give me a young draft pick!
Howler Bro Surf
Rodgers stances aside, something I feel is lost in the conversation. IF they are both available (and I know this is the magic question) is there going to be a difference in draft price to acquire Wilson or Rodgers? Wilson may fetch an additional 1st or 2nd but you’re going to get him for so much longer. Wilson is the answer to me.
Mike Trout
If the ownership situation isn’t resolved in a world where Rodgers is a Bronco how do you all think it impacts the ownership situation? For example sale price and who is bidding for ownership?

Just want to say great show guys!! and IN GEORGE WE TRUST
