To clarify i wasn’t advocating for a second or third rounder being the plan. I was just suggesting their best option to maximize the chance to get the guy is to bank on the 2023 draft while taking a low risk flyer (late 1 to 4th round) in the 2022 draft. The key being to not be complacent in 2023 no matter what.

Love the pod and go broncos.

Squad!

With minshew playing well Sunday night (I know, just against the lowly jets) does this increase the likelihood of the eagles drafting a qb high this year and trading Hurts? They could use minshew as a bridge if they don’t like his long term projection. If so, how does a Hurts / Kellen Moore led offense sound for next year? This question is based off of eagles fans inexplicable ire towards Hurts, granted I haven’t watch too many of his games but I think he looks good.

I’m playing spano in the madden league this week wish me luck against the human thumb boys!

Pat McEfee show was talking a little about the Broncos GM situation.

They said it’s confirmed that Elway is still calling the shots and Paton is just a figurehead type situation.

I’m not buying this. Any truth?

I love Pat’s show but he doesn’t know anything about the Broncos. He doesn’t know anyone who does and he never talks about the Broncos on his show. He really only knows about the Colts and everything else is wild conjecture, mostly for entertainment and content

MY BOYS! Big shoutout to Mike Boone and Quinn Meinerz for bringing the Angry Runs scepter back to Denver! I thought for sure that Javonte would have another one at this point in the season but in a national media that never mentions the Broncos more than an after thought, it’s great to see us getting some love for something. And even though this season is contentious, it feels good to get back to hard running, tough as nails football. We’ve had some okay running backs over the last few years but it’s been since Clinton Portis and Terrell Davis before him that Denver had a top tier running game. I know we need a good QB but I hope no matter who we end up with next year, whether it’s Aaron Rodgers, Matt Corral or Teddy B, that we full on commit to angry running for all of 2022. Smashmouth football here we come, baby!

hola muchachos, quick question for the 3 of you. Hat or Beanie? What are you more likely to wear regardless of weather. Thanks

Also do you guys have any allergies to nuts? Specifically Almonds. If I mailed a Christmas gift would it be best to mail it to the Bars address? Thanks!

hey guys,

just wanted to talk about shelby harris real quick. i always thought he was kinda overrated early in his tenure here, but last year he was legitimately good as a pass rusher and was batting balls left and right, so i didn’t hate the idea of extending him.

this year he’s not getting consistent pressure and isn’t even batting balls at the LOS. his missed tackle percentage has gone from 7.7% to 16.2%.

what do y’all think is the reason for him not playing as well as he did last year? is it age-related decline or is there something else going on here?

Hi guys. I can’t hold my tongue on this one. Sorry. I called the severe let down after Dallas. I also told my football buddies exactly what would happen after smacking the Bolts that way. I almost hit it perfectly. I called 21-9. I have faith in the D to do its thing. I don’t care how bad Detroit is on D I have NO faith in Pat Suckmer to get his head out of his back side and roll right. Ill call it now Denver 17 Detroit 13. Detroit scores a TD inside the last minute to get to a 17 13 game. Curtis Modkins for interim OC. Your boy Elroy

Watching Teddy play the last few weeks, he doesn’t seem to be as calm in the pocket as when the season started. Do you guys think there’s any lingering effects from his concussion that has led to this. His decision making and presence in the pocket just doesn’t seem the same. I live in the Louisville area now and I work with one of his former WR from Louisville and he was the one that pointed it out to me. What’s your thoughts and thanks for all you guys do.

Howdy gents,

I’m tired of teddy. His inability to get the ball out quickly, staring down targets, high sailing passes, missing every deep throw, the limp he’s developed every time he’s hit, lack of fire, blah blah

I’ll be in Denver later today for the lions game and tailgate. What’s your favorite thing to do around Denver?

Thanks for the pod as always

How do you guys feel about this secondary after the chiefs game? I also agree with RK if the broncos would’ve won that game the whole nfl media would have been praising that broncos Defense !

Hey fellas! It feels like this upcoming offseason is going to be one of the most important the Broncos have had since 2016, and much of George Paton’s tenure is going to rely on the moves he makes at staff and Quarterback this offseason. Obviously the QB debate to draft or make a move for a vet can go on forever, but what do you think makes the most sense in selecting the staff? Should Paton stand pat and role with Vic again or should he move on? Also why hasn’t Greg Roman’s (Ravens OC) name been brought up as a possible HC candidate? Sorry for the long winded comment, but I haven’t commented in awhile. Thanks for the content as always, yah boi Wildcard!

In past coaching cycles we’ve not been the most attractive destination but based on current hot seats/anticipated vacancies do you think we’ll be a more desirable destination in this cycle if we choose to let go of Fangio?

Las Vegas, Minnesota, New York Giants, Chicago maybe Houston and Jacksonville. Maybe Vegas or Chicago would be preferred spots, but looking at this list I feel like Denver has a pretty good chance of getting one of the top candidates, especially now that we have capital to make an aggressive move at QB. What’s your take?
