Howdy,
Regarding what I said yesterday about brees I think I have to clarify it a bit. Most teams starting quarterback is the best 99 out of 100 times over there backups, but I’m not so sure anymore with the saints. I would lead more towards Winston being better in this case. Although I’m not sure if it’s all just game plan or what not but Brees has been the definition of check down Charlie since Carr invented the phrase. I literally seen 7 plays in a row where it was brees to kamara for short gains. I just don’t think a veteran quarterback should make decisions like that. Especially if that one man (Kamara) has been carrying the team, letting him take all those extra unnecessary hits risking injury.
End of comment ✌

PFM was a shell of himself during suprebowl 50 run. Held Together with bailing wire and deer antler spray no doubt. The team relied on #22 and our defense. Brees can still take a team deep in the playoffs.

More importantly, would you rather shout all the time or whisper all the time?

My boys!! Life has been crazy, but I’ve been listening from a distance, catching up on pods now! Quick question, rank these 1-5 on most arm talent! Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, russel Wilson, and Drew Lock! More comments to come! I’m playing catch up! Thank you men!

Fellas! I forgot that I needed to resub since it’s already been another year. For my Broncos note, Herbert scares the sh*t out of me. He wasn’t supposed to be good. Hopefully he’s successful, but losses a lot of games to the Broncos. As the resident beer snob who is a day late on pods, I had to chime in when y’all talked about nitros only being for dark/heavy beers.

TLDR- nitro just means the beer pours velvet smooth creamyness, regardless of style, dark heavy beers that already have less carbonation just fit better with nitro. There are plenty of not dark beers that are on nitro, they’re just harder to find and make.

Not TLDR- Brews that are not allowed to (or simply don’t) naturally carbonate tend to be darker, heavier beers. When they are poured through traditional CO2 they usually don’t head as much, and are more dense compared to lighter beers like Pilsners or kolsch’s, like strawberry sky. This simply makes more sense to add nitro to heavy dark beers because there’s naturally less gas, and the smoothness and creamyness adds to the typical flavors that exist in winter brews.
All that to say, nitro is NOT limited to just porters and stouts, but you can brew any style of beer to come out velvet smooth. Strawberry sky would be delicious on nitro, and I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve messed with that in house. The process is a lot more stringent however, and is the reason brewers- especially micro brewers- horde their creations to themselves and only pour at their breweries. There is a collective of insane brewers up the road in Longmont, something about sinistrality, brew a ton of nitros, and even make nitrogenated versions of their flagships, like their amber ale.

Now that beer talk is out of the way, y’all are the best and I’m super pumped to get another year in with you all. Hopefully I’ll make a game up to the bar from the Springs. And if anyone’s making the trek down here, hit me up and I’ll find us some cold Breck brews at a sweet spot.

If you had to remove one current bronco Hall of famer, to add one bronco of choice . Who is it and why?

First of all

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo- urns

Second

If you had to have one Bronco in history sit across from you at a dinner table watching you eat 50 wings, totally silent, just staring. Who would it be? Why?

And Mase, no Steve Atwater. He’d want you to eat 25 more wings than this thought experiment requires.

Before the 2019 draft, I was a Herbert fan and wanted the team to wait a year and not draft Lock. (To be fair, I live in the West so hadn’t seen any of Lock and Had to rely on places like PFF, which I have subsequently unsubscribed from). Before the 2020 draft, I thought I’d take Lock over Herbert, knowing what I knew after seeing Lock’s first year and Herbert in college. Now, I have no clue. But, I don’t think it matters. In the 14 years with Phillip Rivers at QB, the Chargers won 4 division titles. Broncos won 5. They are a cursed franchise that has never and will never do anything.

Also, did the Bucs-Broncos game actually happen? That game was so forgettable, i remember like two things that happened that game

Hey gents,

Haven’t commented in a couple of weeks as I’ve been pretty busy doing overtime at work, saving up the small fortune I’m going to need in order to return to Thailand, but rest assured I’m still listening every day. Tuned into the tailgate on Sunday for the first time and it was fantastic, but I think Hank needs to up his tinder game.

Regarding the Patriots game, I wish we could have Von in street clothes on the sideline. Obviously he couldn’t play, but if Cam glances over and sees his own father standing there, the PTSD would kick in and he’d throw a couple of balls straight to K-Jack.

I’m predicting a big Phil day this game assuming he plays. Phil’s always hungry, but after sitting out some games where he knows he could have helped the team, he’ll be hungrier than RK with a plateful of marmite on toast.

Cheers,

BB out

I heard someone say the chargers are more talented then the broncos ….my question is if that’s true by how big of a margin would you say so …….. Also is it a fair assessment to say drew has been mediocre if someone feels he’s mediocre at best this far is that accurate ?

Hey fellas! Been awhile since I commented last! But with so much drama in Tennessee it’s kinda hard being Derrick Hen-Ry! After seeing how that Titans defense dismantled Josh Allen last night, it gives me some more hope for Locks come back! I feel like Lock played a better game against that defense than Allen did! What should fans expect from a Drew Lock come back? And how many wins assured him being back next year?

I feel like this week’s game has that built up anticipation with as long as we have been waiting for it. I think we match up pretty well at least our D vs Pats O. We have done a solid job of stuffing the run and I think we are going to have to force Cam to make the throws to beat us.

One question I have is do you think Phil will be a focal point of the Offense or more of a slow build back into the game plan? I want to start him this week on Fantasy because I feel that Phil will be chomping to make something happen.

With crazy season and changes going on in football, I have felt it as a coach as well. This year with schools having big adaptations, our football team has had to adapt. We had over 20 out of 50 kids who were failing more than 2 classes and become ineligible. We have had to pull about 5-10 players all the way from our C team to play on our A team and have had to chalk this season up as an *Asterisk* Season.

I want to just end the comment with, “We do the best we can with what we have.” I am sure everyone is adapting and I want to say thank you to RK, Zac, and Mase for the consistency you bring in a world of uncertainty.

My Boyz, just a quick thought; recently I feel like the idea of Players „quitting“ on their coaches gets thrown around just about every season, for multiple teams.. Is it just me or could this be a side effect of these young kids not being able to handle adversity or difficult stretches as well as players used to? Maybe Mase has some more insight seeing as he’s been around the block about 75 times!
Thanks for all you do and riding shotgun on my daily drives! best wishes from Hamburg

What the hell is Melvin Gordon thinking?

He could not have picked a worse time to catch a DUI, during the COVID Season? I imagine he gets dealt a nice fine and probably a suspension and honestly i am on board. Not only is he ricking the lives of everyone on the road but also puts him team at risk of a covid outbreak if he was out and about at a bar mixing it up.

Alot of fans already did not like the Gordon signing, im sure this will fuel the distaste of the signing even more.

When Phil is healthy, just give him the ball and make Gordon the full fledged back up.
