Hey guy’s
So after listening to drews interview, do you think him talking about taking out the plays he didn’t like from the playbook was an FU to shurmur. And for one why are they even doing that, play to your quarterbacks talents. Your supposed to help them not showcase what he’s not good at or doesn’t like.
Andrew Mason
I would like to hear Shurmur’s side of the story on this. I suspect reality might exist between two interpretations of the events mentioned.
Orange and Blue all over
Fellas,
You often say paying an average qb elite money gets you into trouble. What about paying an average qb average money?
For next 5 years, would you rather have Lock (assuming he makes jump to average or can sub teddy in here) for 5 million a year or Rodgers for 50 million a year?
P.s. I’m ready to donate my miles and create a special A.A.Ron. cyptro coin that cost 12 cents to start to close this Rodgers deal. Lets go!!!
Andrew Mason
Easy. Rodgers.

Hi guys,
Would you rather
1. Broncos get the trade for Aaron Rodgers done on June 2 and….
The Deshaun Watson clears up and the Raiders trade for him next offseason
or….
2. Broncos and Raiders both can’t get either trade done and keep what they have.
Andrew Mason
1, because No. 2 doesn’t do much to get you closer to the Chiefs and Mahomes.

Hey guys!
The Philadelphia Eagles have had a interesting set of characters battle on the concrete of the old Vet and now the Link. Who among them just rubbed you the wrong way, but would’ve been incredible on your team?
Andrew Mason
I didn’t really hate Randall Cunningham — a.k.a. “QB Eagles” from Tecmo Super Bowl — but man, I wished he had been the Bucs’ QB in the late 1980s.

There’s a big piece of my heart that just wants Drew to work out badly whether here or of we get home Rodgers elsewhere ….. The media has been so unkind to Drew it’s disposable they treat the kid like he’s Nathan Peterman …. I love the Around the nfl podcast crew but dude Dan hanzus loves to troll bronco fans and drew lock they took drew’s press conference and pushed a narrative that drew has Andy lock screening what his teamates say positive on social.media about him …..That’s a crock of b.s. Andy only tells him to tell his teamates thank you because drew is clearly mobile silent wth do u want this kid to do he knows he has to play better he’s focused on that not the media saying he sucks or giving the starting Job to teddy …. Or drew keeping Rodgers spot warm ….I don’t.understand it my biggest reason I say that ? Is because Daniel Jones sucks ! And he gets soooo much optimism and he’s turn the ball over far more then drew but he’s earned another year ??? I just don’t understand …I’m rooting for u drew I still believe in u .
Andrew Mason
I’ll have to listen to that.

hey guys!
i was thinking about a hypothetical situation and i wanted to know what y’all thought;
say that a contending team suffers an injury, in the next few days to their starting QB and has no viable alternative on their roster so they call george paton up and offer a first round pick for bridgewater, simiilar to what the vikings did with sam bradford in 2017.
that team is interested in teddy over options like jimmy g because of the palatable contract and over options like gardner minshew because of his regular season success and playoff experience.
would y’all forgo the qb competition and having a reliable backup for that first round pick- which is presumably going to be a late first rounder. let’s assume that rodgers isn’t on the table at any point- so lock would be the starter this year but without teddy breathing down his neck all offseason.
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
If Paton is secretly sure that Drew has what it takes, I’d absolutely move Teddy for a 1st.
If Paton isn’t sure Drew has what it takes, a 1st helps broncos have the draft capital to draft the future, so I’d probably trade Teddy.
The world is full of Brett Rypiens and Jeff Driskels, who can play a game if Drew gets hurt.
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
I can see Brian Dawkins wearing blue and Orange for some reason in my mind… 😉
Andrew Mason
I wouldn’t forgo a QB competition, I’d just change the people in it. I would take the R1 pick for Bridgewater, then turn around and trade a R4 (or even a R3 pick, if that’s what it took) for Minshew. So effectively, I would emerge with a comparable quarterback for a summer competition whilst having turned no more than third-rounder into a first-rounder.
MelbourneBronco
You got me, greetings from melbourne, australia, I’ve been a Broncos fan since i watched a late night NFL highlights package and i saw a young QB from Stanford with a rocket launcher for an arm! My first take is, I dont care who gets the QB job, I dont care that the Colorado kid was moved on, I dont care that we didnt draft Fields, I care about winning, just get it done! And guys, please pronounce Melbourne as Melburn, instant aussies (pronounced ozzies) keep up the great work, love the podcasts.
Andrew Mason
Welcome! It’d be cool to see Duffy fly the flag for Australian representation on the Broncos, too.

Yo! What are you predictions for sack totals in 2021 on the players listed, and would you rather see Von or Bradley have more sacks?
1. Von Miller
2. Bradley Chubb
3. Dremont Jones
4. Malik Reed
5. Baron Browning
Andrew Mason
Miller 13
Chubb 10.5
Jones 8
Reed 4
Browning 2.5
I don’t care who gets more sacks, as long as both Miller and Chubb are racking ’em up.
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
Hypothetically, which QB would you rather sign to a 5 year $125 million guaranteed contract Tom Brady or Kirk Cousins?
Count Bridgeula
This new punter situation has me wondering if this team can work, for the first time in many moons, in poetic concert, all three phases harmoniously balanced and interacting as a beautiful dance … can we reach a state of frenzy where our plays and execution thereof become their own, beautiful language ? Can we get to the state where our squads performance mimics
“Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.” ?
Love
The Count
Andrew Mason
After the last five years, I’m not worried about getting all three phases right. I’ll settle for two.
MarkITsnatch
I know, i know, double comments…
Based on what Jeudy said, are we going to see the WR core hit the jug machine and emphasis ball security as hard as Courtland and Tim did in 2018?
dbronc
How long do you think it takes for the coaches to know if someone has made a “jump” in the offseason? Do you think they already have a pretty good idea of what Drew is going to be the season?
Andrew Mason
From seven-on-seven, absolutely not, and Vic indicated that with his comments about not really having an idea until they get to team periods and training camp. This is going to be all about what they see Lock do at full speed, when they throw some different looks and rushes at him. That’s where you see whether the lessons have resulted in fundamental changes to his decision-making and footwork … or whether he reverts to learned/ingrained habits.
Andrew Mason
They need to do more than that. For Patrick, it was having Mark Thewes throw him passes, since there’s more variability in a person throwing passes than with the JUGS machine. Jeudy should find his own throwing partner and work accordingly.
