Well not the result that I wanted for my first live game.
Disappointed that another season is over but proud to be a part of Bronco Country and the DNVR family. There were a lot of passionate fans ready to explode in that place and it just never happened. The first half ending was awesome and took the air out of the Raiders fans in that place and if we would have came out and got a 3 and out on that first drive I think we win. We didn’t get it done on offense, on defense, and on the sideline with the coaching. Loss all around and the season ends.
Hopefully this offseason we get quality replacements for three of the four most important positions in our organization. We need the right ownership and George needs to find better coaching and we have to find the guy at QB.

‘-Realistically what will it take to secure the number one overall pick in 2023 aka Bryce Young? If we get Bryce we’re done with that position (the most valuable position) for the next 15 years. Who cares about 3 years worth of picks in the grand scheme of things (ie: current trade proposals for Russ/AR). I think the closer we get to the 2023 draft the more expensive the price to move up becomes. I’m not sure if this fan base can handle another below average underwhelming szn, but I’d be willing to tough it out if I knew we were finally going to get our franchise QB, who would be cost controlled for 4-5 years.
-I’m convinced mcmAnnus has dirt on Vic. Lol.
-Speaking of Vic, I’ve noticed (that overall) our core players, that we rely on most, are so wildly inconsistent… Is that an indictment on the HC? I respect Vic as a DC but I think he should focus on doing just that instead of trying to run a team. Boy I sure hope there’s some credence to the notion of him staying as the highest paid DC & giving up HC duties.

What is the difference between the Dolphins and Broncos? They just seem to have a different vibe and moving in the right direction and we can never seem to get that.

What a joke that game was. Where was the run game or any remote creativity?? These are trying times and I just want to say that I thought RK nailed it when he said that Paton wasted this season. I remember being in the middle of work when I got the news that we signed Teddy. I couldnt even focus the rest of the day, why you say? Because my anxiety was through the roof that about .500 would be our best case scenario, yet here we are today. Us fans cant endure this unending torture that is Broncos football any longer. It isnt the 1950s anymore. The game has evolved. The 2001 Ravens, 2013 Seahawks and 2015 Broncos were exceptions to the rule in that they rode defense to championships. Even then Seahawks had Wilson and of course we had PFM. The madness needs to end. Fans need to give up the cult like hope that Drew is a franchise guy and also stop hating on Teddy. Comparing the two is like comparing a Kia to a Hyundai. We all need to be united here not divided as fans. I sure hope the front office fixes these issues finds a QB and a Coach that has an offensive mind. Its so abundantly clear that’s what this team needs. Fans, treat each other kindly. Remember the Broncos suck because the Broncos suck, its not like our opinions shape the direction of the front office! Here’s to taking that first step out of darkness and into the light!

I’m trying to figure out my feelings about Vic Fangio coming back next season. I’d love to keep his defense but his game management is bad and hasn’t improved in 3 years. Game management feels kind of like special teams to me, if everything is going well you don’t notice it but if it’s bad, it only takes one or two bad moves to potentially cost you a game. Is it worth it to have a top 3 defense if your coach is actively contributing to losses with poor game management? What is the precedent for teams having a dedicated game management person on staff? Is this an actual role that teams have and is it a public position or a behind the scenes secret?
I think I was on board for another Fangio season until yesterday’s pod when Mase mentioned the difficulty in finding a good coaching staff when a coach is publicly going into his last season. How could we score a Russ or Rodgers worthy OC if Fangio is likely on his way out after one more season? And how can we get Russ or Rodgers if we can’t hire a high quality OC?
dbronc
Alright Mase and Zac. You guys seem to be on the Fangio should go bandwagon, so, assuming that Aaron Rodgers is coming here no matter who the coach is, who would you want the Broncos to hire?
The candidates I’ve heard Benjamin Allbright mention sound extremely underwhelming.

hey guys,
so it’s now a 3 game sample size, so i’m starting to feel confident that what we’re seeing with jonas griffith isn’t a fluke.
to that point, he’s the second highest graded linebacker in the league according to pff and is ahead of micah parsons and has the highest graded coverage grade out of every linebacker in the league too (90.1)
what have been your impressions of him in this 3 game sample size and how do you guys feel about re-signing josey jewell and rolling with a josey, browning and griffith top 3 for the ILB position, and maybe supplementing it with a day 3 pick?
Mrs. Quill
You guys touch on this a lot, but maybe the thing I’m most disappointed by on this whole team is offensive line play. Especially with Munchak as the coach. Obviously they’re young and have been hurt, but do you guys see anything technical or schematic as to why they often get dominated?
HtownBronco
If the Broncos are smart they lose the last 2 games to get a higher draft pick which would sweeten the deal even further for Green Bay or Seattle.
Unfortunately after witnessing the last 5 years I fear the Broncos are no longer a smart franchise. No leadership has us looking like a bunch of idiots. Like someone has a different input each week and it doesn’t work so they go to another opinion. We need some brass balls in the front office who doesn’t take no shit and bleeds winning. Only way to turn this broken ship around
PigTosser66
The only thing more frustrating than watching the Denver Broncos on offense is watching every other NFL game and seeing what real offense looks like. I now am cussing out Shurmur while watching other games so that’s fun. Only two more games of this crap. Can’t wait.
And how did we let playing without Cush end our season?? Can this really be the reason why the weak ass Raiders defense stuffed our running game like they were the ‘85 Bears? Can you please explain to me how this happened when we have supposedly the best O Line coach in the league. I’m not understanding. Does it go back to playcalling because that would be the only thing that would make sense to me.
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
If the Broncos strike out on Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers, is there another FA QB that would be a good fit for the Broncos?
Would you rather run it back with Teddy and a rookie or sign Kirk Cousins for a decent 2 year $50 million deal?
Cosmo Kelly
It really boils down to Pickett or Strong in this draft. They are clearly above the others imo. If the broncos landed one of these guy I’d be stoked. Howell and Corral are decent second option and might be successful at the next level as well but not quite the caliber as Srong and Pickett. If I had my choice of the two I’d go Pickett. How say you?
