Beware the interim coach bounce back after a scandal / tragedy. Often it galvanises the team the first week, running high on emotions, us versus the world mentality.
Then the wheels fall off the next week.
Regardless, whoever the interim coach is, he will still out coach Fangio Schmangio, Shat Purmur, and Tom McMeh and make them look like the inept makeup-less clowns that they are. Bring out the clown car before the game. Give the fans a real show.

Ran a marathon over the weekend and had Cottonwood Mile playing as I came around the corner on the last turn. It was pure bliss.

Hey guys thanks for the content. Funds got a little tight over the last year but you got me back.

Welcome to must win week. And I think we need all the help we can get so if that includes a coaching change for the Raiders count me in.

Working backwards we have 2 losses now and if we count both Chiefs games, a Charger split, and Cleveland as losses that has us at 6 and since we will likely not be in with more than 7 losses we can’t drop this one. That would require us to win all other games or pick up a win in one of my losses. And I can’t see that happening.

Time for the coaching staff to step up. I think the podcast on Monday Did a great job detailing the problems. The worst part for me out of all the issues was the lack of aggressiveness on third down. There was one time in the third quarter on a third and nine as they were coming to the line I said watch us get six and then punt. And that’s exactly what happens. If Our season is on the line like I believe it is we have to be super aggressive and do everything we know how to do to come out with the win on Sunday.

Wish I was on the bus with you all on Sunday but doesn’t look like I will get to Denver for a game this year but hoping that we have something to play for in December in Vegas as it looks like this 42 year old lifelong bronco fan will get to attend his first NFL game that day. Go Broncos and Go DNVR

Howdy Gents,

I’ve been pretty adamant about my disdain for Shurmur and his predictable, vanilla play calling. What can he do to save his job the next two weeks?
For me, they need to score some POINTS. Talking 30-40burgers
He needs to motivate his guys to be bullies in the run game and scheme open Fant, Sutton, etc. if he can’t find legitimate ways to use his weapons, what the heck is he doing calling plays in an NFL offense?

Thanks for the pod as always!

Everyone is talking about new coaching staff, but why would a quality candidate be willing to come to the Broncos with the up in the air ownership situation? New coaches get hired fairly quickly once the season ends. Do you see the potential sale be done quick enough to get quality coaches?

Kendal Hinton with that TD catch, let’s go! So happy to see him contributing in multiple ways.

I was pounding the table last season about QB classes the past few years and how easy it is to draft a QB and got push back on the pod then. Not to rub it in, but it’s validating to hear Ryan now say it seems like it’s getting easier to draft a QB nowadays in the NFL. It has been getting easier, the Broncos (not just Elway) just make really bad picks or avoid drafting the position. Sometimes, failure/losing IS a choice or a series of choices in this case.

On the topic of Gruden leaving, when will we see Tyreek Hill leave? The NFL clearly thinks saying vile things is bad, they must be sickened and besides themselves at someone doing vile things to another person. Until the NFL is actively trying to force Hill out they’re tacitly showing they believe what he did isn’t so bad or so wrong that it should keep him from being in the NFL. I guess the ball is really in the Chief’s hands at the end of the day, maybe they just don’t care

Hey guys I finally decided to renew my membership. I was formerly known as Locked In but decided to change it to PS2. I have this weird feeling that Lock will leave the Broncos and become a franchise quarterback. Most people compared him to Josh Allen hoping he would make the leap but I always thought he was more like Baker. If you look at the first two years of their careers they have similar td-int ratio, completion percentage, and passer rating. They both even started really well their rookie year and had major sophomore slump. Obviously lock didn’t get to continue the trend but I could see him leaving and playing with a team that is heavy play action like the Vikings and doing really well. What do you guys think?

Anyways, I’m so excited for this weekend regardless of the situation around the broncos and who they are playing because my fiancee and I are going to our first game at empower field, obviously we want the dub but regardless we are going to be lit!

Oh and we’re definitely going to the tailgate also! Can’t wait to meet you all on Sunday and crack open a cold one! LETS GO BRONCOS AND LETS GO DNVR!

hey guys

let’s talk hypotheticals. say the broncos lose to the raiders at home this weekend. how bad will the meltdowns be within the team, fanbase and media?

I’m glad we can finally stop talking about Spencer Rattler, but let’s please not start with Desmond Ritter. I haven’t watched him until this year but from what I’ve seen, I would comp him to Philip Rivers. Does he have skill? Sure, but he doesn’t seem to be the guy that can excite and elevate his team. From what I’ve seen, Cincinnati’s defense keeping them in games is the only reason anybody is talking about him. I’m much more high on a Matt Corral but I don’t think we’ll be bad enough to get him. #QBin2023

Repost since I missed the cutoff the other day.

Well I waited to post my comment because I was hoping a report would come out that Fangio didn’t fly home with the team. Instead Bronco’s PR tells us he went to a ranch in upstate New York where he will live out his days running and playing and chasing retired linebackers. The same place my parents sent my dog and gold fish when I was seven. Then in ten years the true story comes out that the team veterinarian who takes care of Thunder just put him down and out of his misery. Guess we won’t be so lucky this week. SMH

Ryan thanks for hanging out after the game even though you were running on empty and Zac props to your Ninja skills for slipping out past me! See ya next trip guys

Gentlemen.

Like you, I was rather despondent after Sunday’s loss. The ineptitude of the coaching staff seems to squander any talent that we can muster. While I and many others have voiced our disdain for the coaching staff, what would it take to make your personal confidence in the team reignite? Or is it too late?

My Peoples!

I am tired of this team and their lame ass excuses. I have zero patience in a sports world filled with entertaining product. Jazz basketball starts in 8 days, and from that point on the Broncos will be an after thought unless some coaching changes are made and some players are traded for draft capital by the deadline. I would rather watch a bad team with a plan then a talented roster with troglodytes for coaches and front office personal. I love this team and I just hate being left behind. It feels like with no actual owners the fans have been left behind.

Also Kyle Fuller is big trash, not just bad.

My boys! Back home after a disappointing weekend in Pittsburgh, where I feel like the Broncos beat themselves with bad penalties. Looking forward to bouncing back this weekend. Will be watching from my couch this week, but will be on the road for the game in Cleveland. Wishing I was at the Party Bus and Tailgate this weekend, it was definitely an experience I won’t forget. Cheers fellas!

P.S. – Check Vic and Shurmur’s emails next 😉

My boys! I just want to thank Ryan as I reached out to him via Instagram to become a DNVR family member and help me set up my account since I am an active duty military member. So thank you Ryan and can’t wait to meet you guys following the broncos bengals game in December. So my question: if you guys had to pick, who would you want the Broncos to pick as their head coach? Assuming Fangio gets fired. Thanks for the content, Sko Buffs and Go Broncos!
