You can get an iced coffee in the summer. But now it’s hot drink season. Henry, you should know that you will NEVER overcome the British love of a good cup of tea.
Broncos Country, let’s brew.

Hey there across the pond fellas and of course, Supreme Producer Allie!
I guess it’s DNVR Planet now!
Can you imagine the carnage if Russ was active on twitter and responsive to his critics like other athletes? I think that he gets a lot of grief (potentially to the point of bullying?) for being “corny” but the guy is staying out of the fray in a way I think is underappreciated.
Throwing my two pence (aka tuppence?) into the “what is the problem controversy” – I present Arvada Luke’s Grand Plan That Fixes It All;
1. George Paton has done nothing wrong and most things right. 100% untouchable.
2. Hackett to solely HC duties. Lots of HCs don’t directly play-call, and I’d argue they’re usually better. His vibe is better suited for that too.
3. We went from an offence that was the vision of a single Shurmur to one that feels like too many voices are involved, to similar end result. The fans are also thirsty for blood – so give Outten his walking papers.
4. Who calls said offence? Our good buddy Klint Kubiak, who has experience calling an offence led by Kirk Cousins to an average of 25 points a game. Would you take an injured Russ over a Cousins? If you are trying to mesh the offence with the QB’s preference, wouldn’t you ask the QB coach? (Plus, for the love of all things Blue and Orange can a guy just get ONE Fullback Blast in the Red Zone????!!!)
We have to change something. While I’m not YET a billionaire, I have to imagine that the ownership group didn’t get rich by making sudden changes or taking unnecessary short term risks. So, I don’t think anything major is in the offing for the next few years.
Cheers,
Arvada Luke

Fellas, you mentioned my thoughts in your show on Monday (I think) and I can’t quite shake it!
I. Cannot. Believe. We. Are. Where. We. Are. With. This. Team.
Every single week, I fall into a deep sadness and I fear I’m approaching apathy and that is a scary scary feeling.
My question is two-fold.
1. What do the Broncos have to do (from top to bottom) to make sure the fans do not become apathetic (at least what’s left of the fans who haven’t already hit that point)?
2. What are you all doing to take care of your mental health regarding this team? I get depressed and I don’t have to cover this team 24/7. I need you all to take care of yourself.
No matter what, Go Broncos.

It’s clear that it’s become another injury season. I’m always nervous about selling in these kind of years. What move(s) does George Paton have to make at the trade deadline to make the most of a rough start to the season?

Hey Guys!
It’s so exciting to finally be commenting! I’m a long time listener from way back in the BSN days but a first time subscriber so you can all say it in… 3… 2…. 1…. You GOT me!!
A little about me. I’m from Brisbane Australia where I was raised on rugby league as a Brisbane Broncos fan. It was in 2014 at 12-years-old that I stumbled across this weird new sport of American Football. But hey, there was another team called the Broncos too! This hooked me in and I quickly fell absolutely in love with the sport, the team and the pod. Fast forward to today, I am currently taking a semester of exchange in Canada and there was absolutely no way I was going to be this close to Denver without seeing my beloved Broncos play. I have just bought tickets for the upcoming Chiefs game and planned my entire trip and in the high of the excitement I decided to subscribe to DNVR as well!
The Broncos podcast has been such a constant positive in my life. Listening to you guys has brought me so much joy and comfort and each pod feels like I’m in a conversation with friends. The positive and welcoming community you guys have created is amazing and I’m so excited to be part of it!
Just a quick DNVR question from me: Unfortunately, the only game I could go to is the Chiefs game which happens to be a week before my 21st Birthday. The drinking age in Australia is 18 so I’ve had my fair share of fun in sports bars. But I was wondering if I would still be able to visit the DNVR Bar and attend the tailgate as a measly 20-year-old?
Sorry for the long comment! I can’t wait to meet you guys and go Broncos!

My boys,
Henry, fish and chips, it’s just deep fried potato and deep fried battered fish, wrapped in paper, nothing special, if you really want a taste of London, try Eton mess!

Hi fellas, hope London is treating you well! I was there a few years ago with my now wife and it was an amazing experience. We went to a pub called The Churchill Arms that has AMAZING Thai food. Yes, Thai food! Check it out if you have a chance.
I can’t get behind trading Chubb or Jeudy. Hamler is a special talent for sure, but his attitude in the locker room following the Colts game sort of cooled me off on him. The other two are a different story for me, do we really think we would get an equivalent or better player from a draft pick? I’m more willing to trade Jeudy because of the maturity/effort problems. Hopefully the team isn’t in a position to trade either here in a few weeks!

Crazy comment time, I like the London uniforms. It’s a bit different, I’m all for it. People are so whacky about their uniform takes
How do we fix our coaching situation?
Fire Nathaniel Hackett, hire Raheem Morris as HC, give Ejiro Evero a raise and promote him to Assistant HC/Defensive Coordinator, bring in Brian Schottenheimer to be the OC and install what was working for Russ in Seattle.
How’d you feel about this?
