Fellas,
First off I haven’t listened to the pod yet just had a couple things I had to ask. This whole season is marked with the bad stigma this offense. How far is it under the radar that if Phil averages 59 yds per game the remaining 4 games he will have eclipsed 1000 yards in back to back seasons. Seems like that is not even a thought at all but this hasn’t been done by the same broncos player in back to back seasons since ’02 and ’03 by Clinton Portis. Plus Phil has done it with with worst LT in history. Factor in all the big runs negated by Gumballs holding calls he is near the 900 mark.
Who concerns you more in this next match up, Hopkins or Hyde? Personally its Hyde, dude has turned a huge corner down in Houston.
Thanks guys and go Broncos

Hey guys, born and raised in Denver living in North Sand Diego County now — really miss going to all the Broncos home games at Qualcom…. I’ve been listening to the pod for a couple years and finally joined DNVR so I can comment on the POD! Thanks for the great commentary and content!
First off, Mase I just have to say that I am in awe of your encyclopedic mental prowess when it comes to Denver sports history/stats. How the hell do you remember the schedule/score/players of every game from seasons 8 years ago? Were you programmed this way??? Also, love to hear the pop culture/Seinfeld/Simpsons references. Do you watch Always Sunny in Philadelphia? If not do your self a favor and start streaming in chronological order.
Now to the Broncos. On Tuesday you guys touched a bit on Demarcus Walker and his mysterious benching in light of his impactful play. I can’t help but feel like he may be butting heads with Kollar or did something non-football related to keep him off the field. Is it a personality thing? Did he fart next to Elway in the cafeteria during lunch? Would love to hear any additional insight you guys have on this.
Last question; is AJ Johnson having a pro bowl mentionable season considering his PFF ratings? Just want to say that I called it and told my old man after Todd Davis went down in preseason that Johnson would step up and be bad ass dinosaur.

Good afternoon guys! Just a quick thought on Scangs, as stated yesterday the conversation between either Elway or Fangio has to be had with him stating simply this, “run your offense, don’t hold back the reins because you’re scared of hurting Lock. If your offensive scheme is what we need, let Lock run it. Your job depends on it.”

Hey guys,
As I have mentioned before I am an Aussie based fan, currently my boss is in the U.S and will be going to the Broncos at Texans game this week in a corporate box! Man am I jealous!
The only way I see Drew being given the opportunity to show what he has, is if we fall behind early and the Broncos are forced to throw the ball and put up points!
I will be getting up at 4am again to watch our man do what he does best. It is quite hard to contain my excitement and not wake the household at these hours.
Go Drew, Go Broncos, Go DNVR!

Mase, can you expand on how these narratives get passed within a team owned media outlet ? Are they just emailed blasts to all employees or talks from your supervisor / managers? Softly worded or direct? I.e. “We will not be covering ‘insert person here’ in our content until further notice”?
Has there been any situation where this was leaked to the public?

Hey boys. 1st. off, congrats to the Colorado School of Mines for making it into the 2nd. round of the NCAA Championships! OVERALL 12-1 PCT .923 CONF 10-0 PCT 1.000 STREAK L1 HOME 6-1 AWAY 6-0. 🙂 It’s crazy that peeps can’t see that LOCK is the latest Elway/Cutler/Manning when it comes to the IT factor? I hope he hates Phillis more than Jay did! Jay’s type 1 diabetes caused him to get a bad rap as an ahole. Anyone in the DNVR family that has family members suffering from diabetes, will know how it makes their emotions very hard to read!!! We need an APB for Ryan. GO DREW/BRONCOS/ZOOMIES/DNVR

Hey guys, I’m pumped we’re finally getting to see lock play. I have a good feeling about him I haven’t had in a while.
It’s definitely concerning how the broncos as a whole have treated him though so who knows what they’re gonna do. However if it was up to me I’d only want Tua (since doesn’t seem like burrow is possible) over lock this year.
To me if Tua doesn’t declare the move should be simple. Drew gets till the end of next year to prove himself. No veteran bridge or a new early round flyer. This way if he works out you get a full season to remove any doubts, and if he doesn’t next year you likely end up with a great draft choice in a class that is shaping up to include Tua, Lawrence, and fields. You go all in and get your guy then and feel a lot better than with anyone you could get this year. And in the mean time you add a new weapon and firm up the oline in a great offensive draft. Thoughts?

At the beginning of camp I was listening to local radio here in Vegas and they did some interviews with people who had been covering the Browns for decades. I found it really interesting that the media members said it felt weird being excited about the actual season. For years the there was more hype and excitement for all of the off-season (perpetual hope right?) than the actual season and that this year was the first where there were such high expectations that it flipped. They said it was weird not focusing all the talk on draft, and free agency. So… Are we there? Also if not….at what point are we in denial? I feel like we’ve been talking 2020 draft since week 2.
If that is the case..draft question.
Every year the broncos invite a good amount of CU Buffs, WYO Pokes, and members of the other Colorado college (good luck Bobo, get healthy) to a workout. I have a great idea what under the radar Cowboys might get an invite. Do you guys have any Buffs or Sheep in mind that might be invited and you could see surprising at the next level as an undrafted or late pick?
OklahomaBronco58
Mase I will literally poop in my shoe if we ever draft Jake Fromm. That’s it. That’s the comment.

I’ve been listening for a couple of weeks and just subscribed – just wanted to say that you guys are incredibly entertaining and I’m super stoked to join this community! This podcast has been a godsend and a much needed reprieve from studying for finals and trying to push quotas at work.
This may side-track the conversation a bit, but could each of you give your favorite memory of covering the Denver Broncos, whether that be a moment in the locker room or covering a specific story line/game?
Cheers, and as always, Go Broncos!

Asking for a friend
Zac, read your article and I have to ask…. Can Drew’s nickname officially be buzz light year? Because that would just be the coolest thing. Especially if he does well and follows “the sherif” as Denver’s QB.

P.s. the feature when you guys read your articles is the best thing since cranberry sauce!

Hey guys! Thanks for the awesome pod day in and day out with special guest R. K. joining every now and then (when is his “special project” coming out?). In yesterday’s pod, Mase mentioned that he thinks the Broncos have told their people to slow down the Drew Lock hype train. If this is true, what do you think is the reason behind it? Are they not sold on the fact that he is the future or do they think it will help him if he doesn’t have so much attention and pressure on him? I am just curious as to why they might do that. Thank you!
VGK Bronco
I’m convinced that someone in the broncos organization needs to make Scangs watch the Seinfeld episode where George does the opposite of whatever he initially thinks to do and everything works out for him. Scangs wants to run it three times in a row off a turnover, do the opposite and go for a TD.. we up by 17 let’s put the brakes on, do the opposite and keep the foot on the gas. Don’t want drew to practice as soon as he is able, do the opposite and get him out there. I think you guys get the point. If he just does the opposite of what he’s calling, we might actually score more than 23 points in a game. “If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right” Jerry

Hey guys hope all is well. I have a theory that no matter what, the Broncos are not in the 2020 1st round QB market. At first I didn’t believe this theory, but the more I ponder it, the more it seems likely to me:
The theory says that the Broncos are making long term plans around Lock. Not as ‘THE guy’ necessarily but I think they plan to give him a good ol’ fashioned Trubisky tryout. What that means is that the SOONEST the Broncos will be in the QB market will be 2021 (if Lock really blows it). The Broncos had to weigh whether to wait till next year to start him with a clean slate; or whether to put him out there now during a lost season and risk an injury that could derail him for his true tryout in 2020. They hesitated to play Lock because a 2020 QB has never been under consideration so an immediate assessment of him was never an urgent need.
I think Elway plans to give Lock at LEAST a full year before deciding if he is THE GUY or not. A lot of elite/HOF level QBs (most it seems) had horrible seasons their first 1 or two years in the league (noted below). Elway knows this and is in no rush to make a decision on Lock. In fact he said last week on Elway Access with Phil Milani: “Drew’s a young guy and there’s going to have to be patience there, it’s not going to happen overnight, it’s not going to happen in one game, it’s not going to happen this year. How much he does play this year will help him for next year. We’ll just see how it goes, but again young quarterbacks take some time to develop in this league and we understand that.”
I think John afforded Flacco a courtesy by not drafting a QB in the first round this past year and I think he affords the same courtesy to Lock for next year. If Lock really stinks it up then maybe he drafts someone in 2021 to compete for the spot.
Of course if Lock comes out in 2020 firing on all cylinders like Mahomes then we can all live happily ever after.
Notable QBs W/L record 1st year (or two)
P. Manning 3-13
E. Manning 1-6
J. Elway 4-6
J. Kelly 4-12
J. Montana 0-1, (2-5)
S. Young 1-4, (2-12)
T. Aikman 0-11
T. Bradshaw 3-5, (5-8)
T. Tebow 1-2, (7-4)

Hey guys!
The organization has a habit of looking at the local universities for talent. You keep mentioning targetting wide receivers in FA and the draft, and there’s another budding talent from Fort Collins in Warren Jackson. Although he’s likely to stay at CSU for his senior year, what is your take on him? Would his size, speed, and jump be a good compliment to Sutton and crew? Or is he too similar to what we already have?
Likewise, are there other players here at Colorado schools that you’d like to see have a chance in Denver?
PismoBeachBroncos07
Hey guys. First time comment. Love the show and cant wait to get my new shirts. Listening to you guys has become a part of my daily routine and it makes me feel so much more connected to my team in the Rockies all the way from California. Rough season, great coverage!
I know the Lock subject has been covered at nausium BUT now we have this Scangarello angle which makes it more intriguing. Going back to Scangs days at UC Davis, he was a QB coach under an OC/Head Coach, Bob Biggs who ran a pass happy spread offense in the mid 2000s. I was a QB in HS and coach Scangs actually recruited me! I didnt go to Davis but I strongly considered it before taking an offer do a D1A school. Fast forward to today, small world I actually work in the same field as his MOM! I’ve heard a lot of juicy details, how much of which is actually accurate, who knows? But I’ve heard some stuff that doesnt necessarily come up in this podcast. Anyways, I agree that Lock was a SPREAD SYSTEM QB. It is nearly impossible to change a QBs mechanics when they are 23 and have been doing things a certain way that long. Let’s give this kid a chance, whether it be Scangs, or in my opinion any OC with success in a spread offensive system. But at this point poor coach Scangs seems to be folding under pressure. Hope Elway can come around and support a guy that HE drafted! I dont want to be dissappointed in Elway, the guy was my hero and the reason I wore #7 my whole life.
Look forward to chiming in the rest of the year!

Mase, it was good to hear you bring up James Bradberry as a potential FA acquisition. I’ve been high on the Broncos pursuing him for a while now.
Ron Rivera’s defense was very zone heavy, so I expect the transition to Fangio’s defense to be relatively smooth. Plus he isn’t a name-brand player like Byron Jones, so I expect him to be considerably more affordable. The smart move would be to pursue Bradberry IMO.
As far as receivers go, it’s not a sexy name by any means, but I’d be very interested in Randall Cobb as a slot receiver. It’s tempting to look at someone like Robby Anderson, but I’d lean towards the draft for a speedster, and get a slot guy in free agency.
Originally I was pounding the table for the Broncos to go after Joe Schobert in free agency, but he’s probably priced himself out of our range, especially now that he has 4 picks in 3 weeks. I like Cory Littleton too, but he’s a liability against the run and is most likely going to break the bank because of how good he is in coverage.
One name that’s sticking out to me though? Nick Kwiatkoski from Chicago. He’s currently their starting ILB now that Trevathan went down, and he’s playing very well for them, and has shown a considerable improvement in pass coverage this year. Honestly, I’d be shocked if they don’t go after him.
BroncoTex70
I don’t comment often but know I always listen and appreciate the damn good coverage you guys provide.
Mase, you mention to complete your evaluation of Drew that you need to see what adjustments he makes once the film is out on him. Can you elaborate on what those adjustments are that you’re looking for and what adjustments can be made by Lock, outside of the restrictions of the scheme?
Having been a Broncos fan all my life, it seems that when they play bad it’s really bad and some NFL record is set by the team we’re playing. How many standing NFL records have been set by teams in games against the Broncos.
Thank y’all again have a great one!!
Side note: on my third bag of Strava and totally hooked. Thanks for that too.

Hello my friends,
I have finally come out of hiding to comment on a few things.
Mase,
I LOVE your love for Joe Bureaux. #GEAUXTIGERS. My wife’s family is from LA. They are radical tiger fans and have shown me the way. I love your love for Joe Brady as well. I would love to see the broncos steal this young bright offensive mind from my tigers. My LSU fandom started years back watching the absolutely dreadful 50 iso dive per game Les Miles offense. Then LSU pulled their heads out and decided to come out of the Stone Age and run the saints prolific offense. DENVER MUST COPY THIS. Please Elway fire our Italian stallion and bring the electric Cajun to town.
Also Zac, for the first time in 8 years I can say Geaux Tigers #BEAT BAMA
Also if MLB cuts my Humpback Chubbs I will be deeply saddened.
Thanks guys
HumpbackCHUBB55
Also to the guy who bought a jersey already I purchased a panini playbook autographed with coa and a signed rookie card. So here’s to hoping he’s the next hog elway as my $50 investment for 2 items could greatly increase if he succeeds.

Awesome podcast guys, loved the insight on options outside of Drew Lock as the answer. Personally I think if Bridgewater is the QB in Denver in 2020 that means Lock had to have bombed the remaining 4 games. Don’t think it will happen but it’s always possible. I think it may be PTSD from the past 6 weeks of the Broncos organization making absolutely zero sense with their handling of Drew Lock with getting him practice reps, committing to taking him off IR, rolling with Allen for too long, etc. that makes me feel like at the end of the year we (the fans/media) will see Drew Lock have some up’s and downs but ultimately show enough to feel confident with him as QB1 in 2020. However, I feel like the Broncos will be extremely uncommitted to that notion at the end of the season and “leave all options on the table” for what QB will start for Denver in 2020. Ultimately catapulting the fan base back to pulling their hair out in frustration. Hopefully I’m wrong but after the past 2 months it makes me worried lol. I hope Drew Lock continues to progress enough to build the team around him 100% this offseason. Thanks as always
I believe that that we should sit this draft out on the QB carousel and build up in the other spots we really need like corner, OL, and WR. Give Drew next year and build around him. If he’s not the guy there’s a good bunch of QB’s in the 2021 draft like Elingher that I really like and if we build up the other positions this draft it’ll help whatever QB is droppin dimes for tuddy’s next that upcoming year. I do honestly believe that Drew is the guy, he passed the eye test by far last week and the way all the players rallied around him and reacted and celebrated with him and the way he was so hyped with everyone is different than I’ve seen from pretty much any of the other QB’s we’ve had looks like he won over that locker room in a way Siemien, Lynch, Brocky boy, Flacco, Allen and Keenum didn’t. just seemed like a different feel. Also thank you so much DNVR community for being there for me, you know dang well im going to proudly put DNVR on my eye black this in my semi pro football games this season which starts in February. My first touchdown coach is gonna be celebrated give givin the mile high salute towards the north end of the field in the direction of Denver from Texas. Btw Star Wars The Fallen Order is amazing if you like video games

I sincerely hope that Herbert’s name is nowhere near the vicinity of the Bronco’s draft board. We need to trick San Diego or Oakland (they’ll trick themselves) into taking him.
But Elway’s relationship with Lock is so strange. I picture him in his lair smacking on a big wad of chew and thinking to himself “I did not achieve this position in life by having some snot-nosed punk leave my cheese out in the wind.”
Can you gents explaining the John, Lock relationship? Actually it might be easier to just explain the epistemological meanderings of John Locke.
Love

Hey guys,
first of all – I LOVE your podcast and everything else you are doing from DNVR. I’m from Germany and I’m listening your podcast almost every day. I think it’s finally the time for me to make a comment, and maybe I’ll get it with that into your next show ;-). Mase mentioned a possible DNVR community meet-up on road games or even in London, if the Broncos will (finally) have a game there in 2020. I just can say – IF that happens, you will definitely have one DNVR family-member there next year ;-). If the Broncos will play in London, I will definitely buy tickets and travel from Germany to London to see our team. So that is my first question: What do you think, how big is the chance that the Broncos will have a game in London next year?
Some weeks ago, I was in Denver for the first time with my wife and visited your tailgate party, which was so awesome! (Except of the game against the Chiefs :-/ ) So, I can tell you guys, you also have fans in Germany, not just in the US and it’s great to hear your opinions and insights which makes me feel closer to Denver despite the long distance.
My second question: What has Drew Lock to do or to show in the final four games to proof Elway that he is our future? My biggest concern right now is, what you’ve already talked about, that he could not show his full potential because of the crappy play-calling of Scangerello. My last one is on Mase: You have said some weeks ago that the Broncos should keep CHJ, Wolfe and Simmons and extend their contracts. Well, Simmons is no question – he is just awesome. But I’m also a big big fan of D.Wolfe and (still) from CHJ. Do you still think that the Broncos should keep all of them, even after Wolfes injury and some bad looking plays of CHJ?
Thank you, guys, and have a great weekend. Let’s go Broncos and let’s #BeatTheTexans!
Best wishes from Germany,
Tobi (@Tobi_Ma_yer)

In a fantasy world I would LOVE to have a left tackle like David Bakhtiari on our offensive line. I’ve always admired his work in the trenches. It’s too bad he won’t be a free agent until 2021….but Mase, in your opinion who is most like Bakhtiari in the upcoming draft?
P.S. maybe one day he is a Bronco. After all he is CU alum

New ish subscriber as I was using my brothers account until the Black Friday deal! Just wanted to add on yesterday’s discussion about Eli Manning. Do you think he could come in into Denver, say veteran minimum, just for pure mentorships for Lock? Similar to what was done for Sam Darnold with Josh McCown. Im sure Peyton would be able to pitch in and help? Just wanted to hear you thoughts about this. Thanks guys, go Broncos!
Hardrocker
Just a thought maybe lock should just call the plays himself and disregard the crappy offensive play calls he is given.

Not a bad idea

Hey guys! I’m getting to go to my first ever Broncos game in Houston on Sunday! Any DNVR listeners gonna be there? Do you think there is a chance of the broncos to bring home the win? Also do you think we could move Will Parks to corner to help with the lack of depth? Thank you for all you do boys

Hey guys,
first time commenting. Found you guys at the beginning of this season as I got a new desk job and needed some new podcasts. Finally caved and purchased the year subscription because you guys give me some reliable, educated broncos news and takes, And TWO free shirts is too good of a deal to pass up. It is very refreshing to hear level headed analysis (Thanks Mase) compared to most of my bronco friends who are the type of fans that think the team can do no wrong. Love you guys and the constant entertainment. Zac your laugh gives me life and Rivers has Nothing on RK’s bolo ties. Thank you so much for the awesome energy every week. And of course the obligatory, WE GOT HIM!
Thanks again fellas, Go Broncos!

3rd times the charm. If my comment is too long just shout me out on the pod and I’ll make it shorter but I’ve been skipped two pods in a row now. Here it is again:
I’ve been listening since week 17 of the final Siemian season but I just subscribed with the black Friday promo. Firstly I wanted to clear the air on the quote “Freeloader listeners” if they are at all like me. Besides being just a Broncos fan and not the other Denver teams, the reason I never subscribed before was I just don’t have the time for all your amazing content. Up until recently, when I gave up on my trash fantasy team that will certainly lose in the first round of playoffs, I was listening to the pod a few days late. So I would never be able to make relevant comments on time. But now that we are heading into an offseason with Drew the future I thought I would invest. I don’t have the kind of job you can listen to at work and I have about 10 pods I listen to regularly. Among writing and other things there just isn’t time! So freeloaders DON”T FEEL BAD! (but you should subscribe. The audio articles are fantastic)
Also in the past the incentive of a free shirt wasn’t helpful because I already have every DNVR Bronco shirt (plus the Phil hoodie for me and my girl) except for the Vic shirt. I needed him to earn my trust which now I hope he has. I will use my 2 free items code for a future shirt for me and my girlfriend.
Now that I’ve explained myself… a few thoughts building for the last 2 years.
1. Team 2 holes. Has Mase given his input on that debate? I recently started this debate between my girlfriend and her daughter. We are all differing in opinion.
2. My very first 2 jerseys I bought at the same time in an offseason sale before Tebow was drafted were none other than an Orange CHAMP BAILEY and a Blue KYLE ORTON! I loved Orton in his two season I just think the madness of Mcdaniels tainted him. My most recent is an Orange Phil Lindsay and bought my GF a blue Phil jersey as well. I also have orange Peyton and Elway Jerseys. Next up would be an orange TD and hopefully a Blue Lock.
3. 3 is for Mr B. I will never forget the morning Mr B passed. I was doing a 5 am workout and my phone lit up half way through. I was devastated and almost ended my workout. But then I thought about Mr B and his determination to never give up and I had a great workout after. The following day I was working out again when RK described the sunrise or sunset as Orange and Blue for Pat. I had to take another misty eyed reprieve but returned to exercise in the memory of why I love the Broncos and Mr B.
4. Thank you thank you thank you for BRECK BREWS! I am not much of a Beer guy (prefer the hard stuff and the green stuff) but I recently found a liquor store by me that carries Strawberry Sky, Vanilla Porter and now recently the Christmas ALE! All at a great price! I love them all for different purposes and bought out their last (or what I thought would be their last of the season) 8 cans of Strwaberry sky. A 6 pack and they sell them individually. I got these the week after the browns game and reserve one can to drink after a win. Needless to say I have 7 cans left. Also RK really got me on the White Claw train and another I would recommend is TRULY hard seltzers. More flavors, same low sugar/carb and sometimes cheaper. Damn you RK and your great recommendations.
5. Living in LA I have watched the Broncos play here the last two seasons against the chargers and they won each time! Also I’ve been to Denver for 2 preseason games (My mom is a teacher and wanted to take me and my dad for my birthday so we can’t go regular season.) but they won each time! I wore my Peyton jersey for each game which I think is good luck. Each of those preseason games was the season of their Superbowl appearances with Peyton. I have always blamed the Seattle loss on me because I was watching with some friends who one got sick so we put it on pause. The friend whose house it was did not think to record the game. So we came back like 45 minutes later, the remote fell and changed the channel. When we got back to the channel it was late 3rd quarter and it was all over by then. My point is that my Peyton jersey has magic and it’s my fault we lost Super bowl 48. But for Super Bowl 50 I only missed 1 play and it was the blocked punt/FG if I remember correctly so that one worked out.
6. Get Scangs outta here. It doesn’t fit the philosophy of the team. We go with the one of the oldest most experienced defensive minds in the game and an OC that has amounted to nothing just because he’s part of the coaching tree we want to be in. I hate it. He can’t figure out how to use Phil and Royce right. He is too afraid to be called out for big plays so he tries the smallest most disappointing plays possible. Get me someone else.
7. Despite the strife. 7 is still for Elway. Everyone looks at their own team critically at times and other times no criticism whatsoever. I have two “friends” who are Steelers fans. They never admit there is a culture problem in Piitsburgh. They always back Big Ben despite being an overrated QB and a trash human being. They defend him going on the radio and calling out his guys who fail. They also blamed AB for Ben’s interception to Shelby Harris last year. How ridiculous is that? They would spit on the jerseys of AB and Leveon Bell because they didn’t want to be in a trash organization anymore. I still defend those two diva or not. Pittsburgh is clearly a toxic place to play with their GM calling everyone boys under Ben. I won’t even start on Tomlin. My point is this would never happen under Elway. Just because he isn’t the best at drafting QBs and other pieces he is still better than most and has kept a team from utter turmoil. Wins, losses, yards and points aren’t everything. I would still stand behind this team after back to back winless seasons as long as the integrity of the players and the organization is intact. Give me a Bengals season with good guys and coaches rather than a 2018 Chiefs season with the likes of Tyreek Hill, Kareem Hunt, Frank Clark or Andy Reid. Also I think the tomahawk chop is racist along the same lines as the Redskins team name.
8. I may be the only one who thinks Mahommes is overrated. I have a top 5 list of QBs who if they were in the perfect offensive situation as the chiefs with Andy Reid would be WAY better than Mahommes. In no order that list is Lamar Jackson, Deshaun Watson, Kyler Murray, Russell Wilson and Dak Prescott. Lamar is the only one with a good coach. The others are in weak situations and they are excelling. If they had the same weapons and coach as mahommes they would blow him out of the water. Not to mention their defense is so bad they are always in situation they have to throw and throw. Look at Lamar. Not only is he lighting it up. He elevates every part of the team. Ravens D was okay at the start but they are playing killer right now! Lamar doesn’t have to lean on them and they don’t have to lean on him. We should all be grateful Lamar is not and will never be a Chief (knock on wood!).
9. For how I became a fan not from Denver it goes like this. I lived in CA as a child and liked the 49ers but not a fan they were just close to me. We almost moved to WISCONSIN so I thought hey, maybe I can be a Packers fan. My mom even got me a Packers plush blanket that I still have. BUT we ended up moving to OREGON instead! As you know they don’t have a pro team and I wasn’t about to be a Seahawks fan. I had a lot of opinions despite never really watching football. My first Superbowl I ever watched was my first few months living in Oregon. I thought I still wanted to be a Packers fan and my dad said he liked the Broncos to win because he likes Underdogs. Whether they were or not this one statement from my Dad changed my mind as I watched Elway put it all out on the field. From that day on I was a fan of the orange and blue (colors that were already my favorite – green and yellow suck! I didn’t like the Oregon Ducks either despite living 10 minutes from Autzen stadium).
10. Lastly, I messed up when I subscribed and did not put the code for the pod host I would vote for. If it still counts, for the record I would have put….. (wait for it) RK! I love all 3 of you equally but I credit RK for my new love of White Claw/Truly and the Breck Brews. We were also being Keto Kids at the same time. But what really made me decide on RK was either this offseason or last, RK became the only person I have ever heard mention one of my favorite desserts ever! Strawberry Rhubarb pie/cobbler! By that I mean friends, podcasts, cooking shows… none of them ever mention Strawberry Rhubarb desserts! In Los Angeles I wouldn’t even know where to find Rhubarb. It is an amazing combination and everyone should try! I could eat it every day. When I was a kid living with my parents in Oregon they grew rhubarb and strawberries in the garden and made fresh cobbler from that! DELICIOUS! I remember sneaking bites of it cold right out of the pan in the fridge. It’s great cool or warm! With ice cream it’s even better (for you Zac)! Mase let us know if you have ever had the pleasure! If I ever own a restaurant it would be my featured dessert!
