There’s going to be many fans that turn into alcoholics because of this team! The constant ups and downs and inconsistencies leave us with the only constant left in the Broncos which is inconsistency. I’m reminded of a quote in one of my favorite movies “Division III: Footballs Finest”, where the head coach says “How can I f*** up today?” I feel as tho the broncos are stuck in this state and can’t get out of their own way and are actively looking for was to F up. Anyways I am SAD and on top of that my fantasy team is following suit with the broncos as I am en route to an 0-4 start as well! Anyways I maintain my slim hopes in this franchise in Drew and anxiously await Locktober to come. That’s all for now. I look forward to tuning in to all the podcasts that provide at least a sliver of hope for the future!
VilcaDan
Locktober is our only hope.

What are we doing? Win now mode but end with another 6 win season. Dead zone.
Simply put, need a new GM and leadership with realistic focus on what is going on.
I hate it but I’m going to hang in here because I love my Broncos and the DNVR fam.
I hear Bill Snyder and Brett Favre are available. Let’s get old as bleep. That’s what our leadership is all about. It’s not the 90’s anymore.

Sunny Rain
Actually…maybe it IS the 90s. I seem to remember something like 0-4 in ’94.. Maybe I’m wrong. Seems forever ago.
VilcaDan
If you want a new GM with a realistic focus on what’s going on, I would like to put forward Adam Rank as the only logical candidate, even though he may have been a little too optimistic…

Run defense and tackling was horrid. Hypothetical world seems like more fun than 2019 so here we go:
How would the 2016 broncos have done if they had Flacco that season?
Bronco 77
It’s horrible to see all the Elway hate on social media. We all thought we had an elite defence this year, a defence that Elway built, but they were far from elite in the second half. I thought the offence largely played very well. We asked for over 20 points and they produced. We asked for sacks and the defence produced. We lost Jewell to injury and suddenly there were gaps the size of Lake Michigan in our defence. The most frustrating element was that nobody did anything to change it. Vic clearly needs to be in the booth so he can get a better view but nobody on the field showed any leadership to change things at the line and stop the run.
Once again, we found a different way to lose.
Thanks, as always, for your hard work guys. Sorry for the long rant.
Sunny Rain
So I noticed Vic was all bent over again. We were up 14-3. I’m just gonna assume the guy is in pain with the kidney stone thing. It’s gotta be crazy maddening to be dealing with something like that AND dealing with all that’s wrong with the team. Elway needs to bail dude out. There’s no need of risking whatever could be risked with his health, or making a spectacle on the sidelines if he ends up needing help. Just give him to time away to get himself taken care of. It’s not like it matters much at this point. Just hand the reigns to Munchak so we can march our way to a top 5 pick, where we’ll blow it.
Ruan Pablo
Hey guys, really heartbroken with this team this year, have never seen such a controversy of philosophy of play and the actual play. Vic fangio spent the off-season talking about death by inches, and we lose yet another game in a big part because of bad tackling by this defense, a defense that was suppose to be at the very least good trending to elite but is in fact giving way games. I am counting the days to see drew lock play since this is the only hope I have for the rest of this season, and really hope we can finish with at least 3 wins just so that we prove Adam rank didn’t know what he was talking about. Just one last thing, which position is looking more likely to be the first round pick for the broncos next year, OL ou ILB?
Thanks for the hard work, love the coverage.

This sounds weird, but the thought of watching a rebuild as a Broncos fan is pretty intriguing and I’m looking forward to it- if the powers that be let it happen.
Realistically, Sanders is the most easily moveable trade chip. Several teams have tried to acquire him in the past. Kyle Shanahan loves him, as far as I’m aware tried to trade for him a couple of years back- and he’s currently playing in the same offense, so that’s a no brainer.
Belichick tried to sign him once already (until Pittsburgh matched the offer sheet) and has always had a lot of respect for Sanders. I remember him praising the hell out of him after that ‘Malcolm Butler’ game. Honestly, I’d be happy to trade Sanders to the Patriots, if it keeps the Chiefs out of the SB, plus I’m always glad to see former Broncos doing well for themselves and I think Sanders would be really really good in that offense.
Speaking of Sanders. Elway is rightfully getting a lot of heat right now, but signing Sanders was one of the best moves he made as a GM,. Sure, he chose the Broncos over KC because of Manning, but identifying a player who was a WR2 in Pittsburgh with extremely limited production and acknowledging that there were traits for him to be a WR1 with some development, is something people rarely give him credit for.
BrentG
Happy Monday gents ?
I’m just glad we lost in a different way! I was so sick of the “we need our offense to get going so our defense can get a rush” excuse. We did everything all the coaches were saying we needed to do to win and we still found a way for a bad team to beat us. Let’s get this tank rolling with a fire sale, boys! Sell em off!
Your guy Brent,
kirksmith44
Guess what? We still effing suck. I’m not going to waste my energy complaining about it though.
Was wondering if you guys will be on Google Podcasts again? I see DNVR Avalanche is on there but there are no new episodes on BSN Broncos and there isn’t a DNVR Broncos pod to be found on the app. Hope it happens soon because listening through the BSN app doesn’t work when the phone screen turns off. Thanks guys. And sorry you have to cover such a terrible team, we just suck.
Mike Trout
Ladies and gentleman think of it like this every loss in theory provides us with a even better player than the previous week! Another potential great addition to our young core!
Ok I get that maybe thinking like that might not be the most exciting or reassuring, but guys it’s ok to be in rebuild mode. I’d trade multiple losing seasons for a SB win – especially the kind of season we had that year.
I think we need to do a spotlight on the big man wearing 14…. he came out in camp talking the talk and now is walking the walk. His stats may not jump out as something special, but he routinely comes up clutch catches late in games. I think we have found something special in him!

POSITIVE VIBES ONLY
BmoreBronco
New subscriber, first time poster – apologies for a long winded first post.
While it was another heart breaker, this 0-4 start is what the org needed. Elway can no longer ignore the rebuild that is staring back at him. A win is a mirage & just kicks the can down the road while potentially wasting trade deadline opportunities to be sellers. To me, the tent poles of the next great Broncos team are Chubb, Simmons, Sutton, Lindsay, Risner, Fant & hopefully Lock. Really like the play of McGovern & Hamilton as well + some hopefuls in Hollins, D. Jones & Reed. Unfortunately anyone else sitting on a second contract should be made available to free up cap space and add any draft capital.
Mase, am I wrong in thinking deferring Flacco’s bonus isn’t a big deal? Yes, the dead cap hits push to the next 2 years but isn’t that offset by the rollover cap that it generated this year (under the assumption they don’t go out and make a trade which would be comical at this point)?
Love the pod and will continue listening no matter how dark the days may get this year.
Mile High Kansan
Gentleman, I’m trying to remain positive but man is this team good at sucking the life out of us all. I’ve tried to be what seems like the lone wolf on Elway being the right GM, but the thought of bringing Peyton into that role seems to be more enticing. Peyton is more connected to the current game and would love a front office role in the Mile High. Thoughts? You guys are the best and do a great job keeping us fans engaged. We appreciate you!!

Hey guys,
A few notes. I was actually at the game and I saw a few things. (Sorry for not making the tailgate was running late). I am still calling for Allen. He wasn’t even announced and when he came out of the tunnel he was pumping his hands and was so excited, Flacco who was announced, just trotted out with 0 excitement. Flacco is warming up throwing to Fant and just lob, lob, lob. Allen is warming up next to him taking steps back rolling out firing bullets and dimes to Sanders. I understand Flacco is “serviceable” but just such a bore to watch. Also, neat stats Noah Fant is your 3rd leading reciever, 3rd in recieving touchdowns, has a rushing attempt and a defensive tackle! Think he could play line backer? He has the size to stuff a gap, and speed and size to cover another TE. Anything has to be better than Nelson. Throw him out there and just say you follow that guy and if its a run just hit someone. Lets be the second team to make the playoffs after an 0-4 start.

As I live in Augusta, GA (Home of the Masters)…..I can honestly say……the roaches are real!!! 5ft long…..screeching voices…..flying in your face. I try to smash them with a sledgehammer and they raise their little leg and toss it away……I once threw a grenade into my garage hoping to stop ONE……it threw it back into my kitchen….(I may have made that last part up)…..I’ll take your mouse trap over the roaches any day….

Three things:
(1) Knowing that Jacksonville’s offense is built around power running up the middle, how do you not have Mike Purcell active? Even a casual fan would not make that egregious of a mistake.
(2) Vic was doing the bending over, hanging head, hands on the knees thing again. Someone has got to talk to him about that. You just cannot have your head coach showing that type of body language.
(3) You could really see the Jaguars feed off Minshew’s passion and energy. By contrast, Flacco was once again sitting quietly by himself on the bench. He just isn’t what this young offense needs. They need a young, passionate leader who they can feed off of. Lock must start as soon as he is ready.
VilcaDan
Haven’t seen body language like that since Cutler.
MoneyBagsMcManus
Hey guys,
I feel very conflicted hoping Denver doesn’t win, but also wanting them to win at the same time. What is your therapist level advice for coping with these unfamiliar emotions?
Also, I hear PFM is looking for an office job. Any chance we would bring him in to learn from Elway and become a GM for the future?
Last question. Is Bryce Callahan a real player? I have yet to see him and I think he might be made up so we can launder more money to our young guys and keep them motivated for seasons to come.
VilcaDan
You want Elway to train – TRAIN – PMF???
To do what, carry on this winning tradition?
Uh, no.
BroncoMatt
Hey guys,
I just want to start off before I go negative, you guys always make me laugh. Even in the dolor it is to be a Bronco fan. First Broncos go 0-16 it’s been a sneaking feeling since before the start of the season. Also as I keep saying noting will change until Elway and Darth Ellis are gone. Regardless of the coach this team will be bad until the top is fixed. We could have Bill Belichick and still be this product. A interesting thing about Bill he is the head coach and GM. So my only hope for the season I paid $210 a ticket for Browns Vs Broncos (robbed me) hopefully this game is the first game of Drew Lock. Hopefully I get to see the start of this young man.
Keep up the great coverage and keep us laughing!
Wade Myers
Ok broncos country it’s darkest before the dawn here we go.
Ryan I’ve told you since week 1 this team plays like it wants to go 0-16. I’m calling my shot now broncos go 0-16 with a mix of bad luck, bad play, horrible coaching and a just brutal schedule.
But I do think they do a nfl first and get to 500 in 2020. ( and hope for the playoffs ) this team has talent just need a coaching staff that can utilize it.
Bronco Brawler
Okay I’m saying it even though it isn’t going to happen, PFF analyst Steve Palazzolo for GM!! I doubt he actually has the qualifications teams look for in a GM, but we need someone in leadership who isn’t afraid to admit the when Broncos suck and we need a full rebuild. I now look forward to these podcasts more than the games, so thank you RK, Zac, and Mase for being the best part about football this season. Hopefully Locktober either gives us hope or allows us to lose but definitively tells us whether Lock has “it”, I’m not getting my hopes up though because I legitimately don’t know if Elway is capable of making decisions for the future. Thanks again DNVR, damn good coverage.
Chefadaml
we lost for a fair share of reasons but I have to ask… how do you get a post fumble roughing the passer? I can’t understand receiving the same protections in that situation. My case is this, if the stash would have fell on the fumble and all 11 of our guys jumped their full weight on him there would be no call because it is a fumble. His protection as qb is gone. Am I making this up as a homer or have you seen a call like this before?
BroncoBornBroncoBred
Put fangio in the box, figure out how to get Lock off of IR, just try something new, too sad to comment more, hopefully it’s true for the broncos that it’s always darkest before the dawn.
BleedOrangeBlue
Is Zac Kerr still a free agent? We need a DT who can plug the running holes against opposing RB. I was sooo sick of seeing Fournette get 20yd runs each time he got the ball.
I know we all love Will Parks but we need a Saftey who can bring the lumbar( Steve Atwater anyone) . We don’t have anyone on the defense who is a heat-seeking ?. Thankfully I have my baseball team in the playoffs and hockey starts this week. This team is pathetic
OnionTownLynx
Okay, I haven’t listened to the pod yet, so first a few thoughts:
1. The playcalling in the first half was beautiful. Not in half a decade have I seen wide open receivers catching passes from a serviceable quarterback.
2. The play calling didn’t change in the second. What did was Joe Flacco falling asleep once again and not keeping his guys on the field.
3. Reserved
4. WHERE THE FUCK WAS LINDSAY IN THE SECOND HALF?!?!?!?!?!
5. Would Drew Lock have let that lead go so easily? I think not, sirs. In fact, I think that if he had played, we would have beaten the Jaguars with a 30-bomb.
6. Nice to see Fant get some attention as well as a gorgeous touchdown.
7. Reserved
8. Offensive line struggled at times, but mostly held back an impressive pass rush. I definitely enjoyed that, and another no-holding game for Bolles.
Let’s keep this train wreck moving forward, guys. You do great work! Can’t wait to listen to the pod.
BroncoBornBroncoBred
Well I guess I have something else, the difference is elite playmakers. Von before the super bowl goes and wins the game for us on the last drives in both the Chicago and Jax games, instead we had 2 roughing the passer calls(Chubb’s wasn’t one) that actually lost the game. If the formula to a good team was 2+2=4, Elway keeps on putting in 2+1 and wondering why he’s not getting 4. Elway’s formula won once, but the talent for that formula just isn’t there anymore.
BleedOrangeBlue
Is Zac Kerr still a FA? We need a DT to plug up holes so these RBs don’t gash us each time they get the ball.
I know we like Will Parks but we need a saftey who is a heat-seeking ?( Steve Atwater anyone)
Make The Broncos Great Again
Guys…..I’m so,…. so…..bewildered…confused, befuddled, perplexed….whatever adjective you want to call it, that’s me right now. After all the talk and deep dive analysis, I would have never thought, in my wildest dreams, that the Broncos would start the season 0 and 4. It’s like finding out what you are getting for Christmas, then opening the present to discover that it’s something completely different. I was soooo excited for Vic Fangio! In fact, in the last 40 years, he and Mike Shanahan have been the ONLY 2 Broncos head coaches I’ve actually been excited about. But now, we seem to SUCK even worse than we did the last two years, which is really hard to believe.
In my opinion, this team has no heart. Tim Tebow (AND I’M NOT A TEBOW FAN) had more HEART in his left picky, than our entire team does right now. Where’s the fire? Where’s the will to win? That’s what we brought to the field in Superbowl 50. I don’t see that now. Our defense was not only rated by you guys as a pre-season #1, but also nationally ranked right up there as well! What the heck?? How did we somehow get worse? Is it coaching, or is that personnel? Both, is the easy answer, but I want to drill down deeper and find out. Thanks for the help as always!
HtownBronco
Sorry to tell you guys, I know Ryan didn’t want to say it. But the Broncos ARE a train wreck. We are the same as the Dolphins and Redskins. Other teams are looking at us and laughing at us. It is what it is. No owner and an arrogant GM with no accountability still trying to live in the “good old days” not wanting to change with the times. Signing and drafting players off potential instead of production.
We are losers.
But I still love my losers. I’ll still wear my jerseys every Sunday and still rep my team. Tough time to be alive lol.
Guess I’ll bring my brown-bag with me to the Texans game. The Broncos are now the team where the fans wear brown bags over their heads at away games.
Sir Jerald Jeudith
Hey guys,
Quick question, if we were only see Drew for 6-8 games, is that enough time to make a decision on his future with the Broncos? We knew coming in that he was going to be a bit more of a developmental QB, but if we end up taking a QB high in the draft this year then what do we do with Drew?
Sir Jerald Jeudith
Also, with the news that Chubb is out for the year, is Dream Killer the starter now?
World of Suck
Mase, I promise I’ll change to a normal username as soon as USF wins. At this point, I honestly hope they can make that happen against UCONN this week.
I appreciated Mase’s post-game take that the rebuild is already started and that it started with the 2018 draft. I agree! The hardest thing for front offices to do in the NFL is to draft well, and Elway & Co have done that well for the last two years. Yes, our struggles are stemming from bad drafts in years past, but Elway appears to have fixed that problem. I really hope fans stay behind him for now, I think he’s actually becoming a solid GM.
The reality is that every talented player on this team is either under 25 and still developing or over 30 and declining. Over the next few years, we’re going to lose the guys who are over thirty and watch the under 25 group grow into their primes. It won’t be until then that we see this team find success. Trust the process!
I do have one quick question… if the team were to trade Von, what are the chances that they bring back Shane Ray and or Jeff Holland to replace him for now? As far as I know, they are both still looking for work.
Rob
You go into halftime with a 17-6 lead. Your opponent decides to run the ball for the majority of the second half. This is a game formula that should lead to a victory.
I’m not upset about this loss, but I’m baffled that it happened. At least we’ll get to see Drew Lock for enough games to figure out if he’s a keeper. We’ll know if we need to spend our high draft pick on a QB or middle linebacker.
Minnesota Paul
Hey boys, I am looking for your input. We know the decision-makers of the Denver Broncos decided we’re going to be a defense-first team. But why? We’ve been shot in the foot with the new restrictions on QB hits. PI calls plague every team in the league regardless of defensive talent. The rules are literally written in such a way to favor the offense (and, yes, protect players’ safety). The NFL wants the exciting, high-flying comebacks with less than 2 minutes to go by the league’s latest mustached maniac. It gets viewership and makes money. I’m left wondering, the whole league went offense, why did we go defense? Maybe defense wins championships, but you have to win a heck of a lot of games to get there.
On a happier note, think about how hard Miami has tried to rid their roster of talent just to go 0-4. Our Broncos are flooded with talent and we’re still on track for that #1 overall pick. It’s on!
The Lone Amigo
On this “Broncos let Shaq Barrett go” conversation. Like you guys point out, him leaving was his desire for an opportunity. That’s not on the Broncos directly. In my opinion, the sin of the Shaq Barrett situation was a mis-evaluation of talent and needs within the organization. Chubb is a great player, no question. However, during the 2018 draft the Broncos decided their OLB situation was so bad… a situation that, included Von and Shaq, that they needed another OLB at the expense of desperate needs at other spots. Considering successful offenses are almost always dependent on solid offensive lines, missing an opportunity to solidify the line just to get another edge rusher is the real underlying problem of the “letting Shaq go” conversation.
They allowed the Cleveland Browns panic them into picking Chubb. I know this isn’t a new take. But it seems it gets discussed as separate topics. Drafting Chubb instead of another need (i.e. Nelson), then separately “letting Shaq go”. But it’s two parts of the same mistake. Sorry for the long comment, but this is something that has been eating at me since pick 5 of the 2018 draft.
Hardrocker
Maybe we should make boles a DT he seems to be good at tackling.
chilangobronco
We wanted sacks. Well we got 5 and lost
We wanted to score 20 points. Well we got them and lost
We wanted a big early lead. … well you see my point
Not much love for jewell last games but he is sure a big piece against the
We sure need the young core to stay together!
Question. With the 3rd overall pick the Denver Broncos select…?? A D liner, an O liner, or trade down?? (Provided Drew is the guy of course)
Much love
VilcaDan
Oh my.
Even the haters thought with Vic at the helm we would have an elite defense. Then he became “The Godawfulfather”. As long as he has been waiting for the right opportunity to be a head couch, he now stands bent over on the sideline – apparently looking at his shoe and wondering what he just stepped on and what that smell is ?.
Joe Tepid can’t do better than 3 and out after watching from the bench as the D got gashed and gassed.
Pat kicked Mike “coach for life” Shanahan to the curb when he lost the locker room. Elway has lost the whole team.
Our best “hope” we have now is that the guys we need to trade ball out during our upcoming losses so we get some decent picks for them.
We don’t need a reboot, we need a revolution.
Revolutions are built on hope.
Got Hope?

Ok, I am finally on board with burning it all down and starting over.
This was the Chicago Game 2.0 (had the lead late in the game, roughing the passer penalties). I was under the impression that our offense would suck this year. In my opinion, the offense gave the defense a lead in both game and the defense could not close out the game. Should be 2-2 and in the hunt in the AFW West, especially because a winnable game against a divisional opponent coming up next weekend.
What does this team look like by the end of the season?
Keep up the good work guys!!!
Flumunda Cheese
Hey fellas, that was a tough loss. It was good to see Todd Davis back in the lineup, and I think that was a major factor in finally getting some sacks! As I’ve told you guys before I’m a flight medic. I just got back from a short contract doing emergency medical and water rescue flights in Antarctica. I haven’t been able to keep up on the podcast due to lack of WiFi. I was wondering if you could do a quick recap on our injury situation (including how many weeks people can expect to be out)? When I got back from the Antarctic assignment I was shocked to see how many starters (especially in the secondary) were hurt!
On a side note… The Antarctic trip was especially hard this time because my partner was a die hard Patriots fan, and couldn’t stop talking about how much better the Patriots are because Belichick is also their D-coordinator this year. After getting home I found myself sitting at a neighbors Patriots watch party, drinking a bud light in a F***ing Patriots can, listening to people tell me how Sam Adams is better than any Colorado Beer. You gotta get in touch with the Breck Brew folks so they can get Strawberry Sky up here! I’m dying fellas!!! SEND HELP!!!
SirJamesRadio
Yeah that one hurt, but John elway is a gamer and never one to admit defeat so I have to ask….has all this talk been intentional to avoid the word tank? It’s well known John has goo-goo eyes for Justin Herbert (que RK shudder) and I wonder if this season is being sabotaged from within? With all the talk about Drew Lock being the future, at some point you have to step back and realize that’s all coming from the outside. Do they truely see him as the future? Or is he just a lottery ticket that fell to them that they couldn’t pass up? For the game side, There is noticeable change in the play calling on both sides of the ball in constantly going away from what’s working and the lack on adjustments. I know these systems take a while to get the right pieces in place to run them to the fullest, but when you see Sutton and Sanders getting separation, only to go away from them it makes you wonder. Call it a conspiracy, but it definitely makes you think.
TrueChampFan24
Alot of comments, so ill be as brief as i can.
We had a really good game on the offense. The D got gassed. yall addressed that.
Id love to look forward to Lock. I do not think that is going to happen. Elway is stubborn and that is something you can take to the bank. Flacco was his guy this offseason and i am willing to bet Flacco plays all 16 if healthy. Besides, he hasnt been as terrible as everyone likes to say he has, and i am a big Flacco hater.
LONESTAR BRONCO
I think we all myself especially, owe Adam Rank and apology.
Okay Denver’s at pick 3
Tua is gone
Fromm is gone
Juedy is gone.
Where do you go? Doesn’t have to be name but what position?
Is there a chance Washington goes QB top 5?
They have Alex smith case Keenum and Haskins.

Do you hear that? Those are not the cries of Broncos’ Fans. No that is the nascent wailing of Count Lockula being born. His barbaric yawps are soon to fill the void.
Avoid the noid broncos fans! – stay warm and start knitting little orange and blue booties for The youngest Count is imminent.

My Dudes,
I see a lot of comments so I will get right to. We have 10 draft picks currently for the 2020 draft. We need to find a way to add 3-5 picks between the 3rd-5th rounds.
GB could use Sanders
PHI could use CHJ
Shelby Harris can help the Pats or Cowboys
Time is almost here for Elway to realize that this season is already going to be a learning year for the young players and new coaches and focus on getting some value out of his soon to be free agents. Also, Broncos should have done a better job diagnosing Bryce and Drew, They put the wrong player on IR.
We will have a top 3-5 pick this year, so we need to see if Drew is our guy, cause if he is we need to trade back and keep drafting top core players.
Ya Boi,

And 5 minutes after i wrote this Chubb is on IR.
Time to embrace the lost season and starting collecting assets for the future. No one climbs a mountain without blood, sweat, and cuts.

Hi Guys,
Long time subscriber and listener, first time commenter. I though you might get an (admittedly perverse) kick out of the conversation I had with my 13yo son on the drive home from Sunday’s game:
Son: If both the Broncos AND the Dolphins go 0-16 this year, who gets the first pick in the draft?
Me: uhhh, good question, I have no idea.
Son: (searches on his phone) – They do a coin flip!
Me: Wow, I can’t believe that!
Son: That coin flip is going to be more exciting than these games!!
ME: ROTFL 😉
The Matrix
I’m tired of this team looking flat, I’m tired of the lack of depth at every position.
I’m tired of this team.
At this point , just play lock. There is nothing that joe provides over drew. No pre snap adjustment, no athletic ability to create,
Once hes healthy play the kid,
Worst of all my beautiful gf, got me tickets for next weekends chargers game, and I’m honestly tired of throwing money at this team when theres no effort of change. Oh and bradley chub is out.

Oh and I may be late, but what’s with the change to dnvr?

Chubb is done for the season, blow it up!! Lets go full 76ers Hinkie mode already. Assets need to be traded. We need to beat the Dolphins for the first overall pick. I love Von but trade him. Harris, trade him. Emmanuel, peace. Wolfe, send him to a contender. I want to see Lock when I fly out from New York. Reed and Hollins coming off the edge. Successful teams are young or have Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers. Let’s tank.
IllinoisBronco
Just heard the news on Chubb.. I am sick.. Can we just start this rebuild already..?
Trevory13
My advice to everyone: just enjoy watching the young guys make plays. It’s made this a much more relaxing experience for me.
The “middle quintet” (three DL and two ILBs) looks like a black hole right now. They need to find 5 future starters there. Need size up front and speed behind them.
On the other hand, big shout out to Duke Dawson. He’s been in the system for just over a month and overall played a heck of a game. With Bausby’s recent emergence and Dawson showing he belongs, it’s possible the Broncos have sort of stumbled into a couple building blocks. Looking forward to seeing more from those two.
These are the things that should keep fans engaged. 12 games left gives young guys a lot of opportunities to prove themselves to this coaching staff, and there will be 1 or 2 guys emerging as future building blocks who we probably aren’t talking about right now. That’s fun. Embrace the process, everyone!
