Melvin Gordon is not the best player to graduate from his high school, Alan Ameche is. If you don’t know about him, look him up. Mase can fill you in, I’m sure.
Who is your favorite player that others may not remember or know

Thanks for Googling my username, but I’m sorry it left such a dark mood in the room! I’m a neurosurgeon and ventriculostomies are the simplest bedside procedures that we do. I promise they are lifesaving and not dark at all!
With Melvin Gordon coming in and us switching to a new offensive scheme, how likely is it that Lindsay hits 1000 rushing yards again this season?

Slainte! (Irish for ‘good health’) Haven’t commented in a while, but have been busy moving to Dublin, Ireland. Been here since January. Sad about not being able to visit the new DNVbaR. Congratulations on that! So if anyone in the DNVR family makes their way to Dublin (or Ireland in general) let me know and the first pint or whiskey is on me! If there are any other Broncos fans out here in Dublin, hit me up!

Just wanted to say I love watching HGTV and Foodnetwork! When not watching the Broncos, one of those is usually on my TV.
I have been excited with FA so far. Dont see the cap space to do much after Gordon but who knows what Elway has up his sleeve. Now lets see what the Draft and undrafted FA brings!
Stay Healthy and Safe!
Shoutout to Gunner, Nacho Brad, PailiefromWaukesha, Litvaski (the original MVP), RyanClaymon and all the other commenter OGs.
Go Broncos!!!

I also want to shoutout to Colton and his Raptor work! Being in Ireland I am mow getting into Rugby and I have been listening to Colton to get a better idea of the game. Here’s to following the raptors next season after this pandemic has finally passed.

Something I wanted to point out that Zac almost came to talking about. With Lock, Lindsey, Gordon, Sutton, Fant, Beck (and whatever WR is picked in the Draft), the oldest weapon is a very new 27 year old in Gordon. This offense is built to last of they click!

It’s Friday 8:11 PM Central time as I write this. My brother and I are leaving the golf course after playing 36 holes. They’re shutting the courses down after this weekend. I’ve heard they’ve already done so in Denver. No restaurants, no bars, no theatres, no golf courses, no sports on tv, yet we still gotta work. Lol. Seriously though, hold your loved ones close and let them know you love them. What else is left?

Hey, gang. I just happily upgraded to a lifetime membership to try and help DNVR weather the storm in some small way during these turbulent times.
THANK YOU for giving us all an hour or two of entertainment and insight every day.
Here is your BUFFS HOMER question of the day:
Is it feasible / advisable for the Broncos to sign P-Rich in free agency and then draft Viska in the 2nd and Montez in the 7th? (and maybe even Davion Taylor thrown in the mix – where do you see him being drafted?)
I know it is probably a pipe dream….but how fun (and advantageous) would it be to have the SKO! Buffs tribe represented so well in the locker room and on the field? ?
Stay safe and keep crushing it.
Much love,
The Funky Juggernaut
P.S. The word “viska” in Icelandic is from Old Norse “vizka” — meaning WISDOM.
Just sayin’. ?
( I am 1/4 Icelandic — so I geek out on such things )

Since y’all are talking about Madden and EA Access…
I’m not a video games guy, but I had to fill the sports void in my life. I went to Target this afternoon and bought a $250 Xbox One Digital-Only version for just $160, using a price match I found online. It came with 3 months of XBox Game Pass for $1 which includes NBA 2K20. And I got EA Access for $5/mo with Madden 2020 and NHL 19. $176 for a console, controller, the three games I want, and 100 other games I don’t want! If any of y’all are looking to fill the void in your life like I am, cash in on this deal while you can. Happy quarantine-ing y’all. And stay safe!

Hey guys, I will be the first to admit while I loved the Gordon signing I was upset about the apy amount. However you guys talked me into being pumped.
How amazing would it be for Denver to get a couple Nigerian princes join the team. All they need is 5 million dollars and a second round draft pick to unfreeze their assets and then a Lombardi will be deposited into you’re trophy case as a thank you.
Ryan I love paintball and I also have an empire resurrection auto cocker, it is dated but it stays in my bag at all times as a back up gun in case of damage or malfunction to my primary marker. Y’all should really do some research into woods ball paintball if you havent heard of it. Two teams go out in a heavily wooded area and basically reenact a war scenario, it can be last man standing or capture the flag (my favorite) it’s a blast.
Love you all glad to have Zac back and most importantly we love you jano.

so phil and chj liked a tweet from de’angelo henderson (…….) saying ‘why sign a probowl RB when you already have a probowl RB’
theres gon be some drama ?

Man, what a week.
Chaos in the world, a great week of free agency.
A NFL journalism WWE session, with Mase and Klis going at it, and then, MURDER, schefter from the top rope.
Man, talk about being fired into the sun.
And way, way, way too much time being forced to imagine RK, Zac and Mase keeping the house in order. I spend too much time already thinking about what I can do with my own genitalia let alone having to think about yours.
Speaking of dicks – Man I don’t get the hate on the Gordon deal from some? People are acting like he got some ungodly contract. He’s paid less per year than our centre? It’s a 2 year deal. Tell me the improvement on Freeman is not worth that contract? It doesn’t mean less Phil, it mean more Phil, for longer. Gosh.
BroncoNuggs
How are you guys feeling about us drafting a WR at 15 and moving up to 31 to get the best C available? maybe drafting a tackle in the 3rd and rolling with what we have and the rookie. I don’t see us getting another staring left tackle in free agency at this point.
What would it take for us to trade up to 31? Keep up the great work. Zac because of you I had to re watch chuck with my girl friend. It was her first time watching it and my 3rd it turned into her new favorite show and of course my all time favorite! Highly recommend it during these dark times!

Hey friends. Like R.K.; the news is all negative but like Zac, during Covid-19, I’m watching CNN for hours. Winston? Hide all the crabs! TB12 winning the MVP = Tommy getting a draw against Father Time!!! 🙂 Sadly, how soon will John trade Lyndsey? 🙁 GO AMERICA/PHIL/DENVER/DNVR

You guys said that we had 2 mil in cap space but according to Benjamin Allbright we still have 24 million?!! So accounting 9 million For the draft class that gives us 15 million to spend, just imagine if we bring in Jason Peters, Prince Amukamara and bring back Wolfe!! Just the thought of that gets me soo excited
Keep up the great work

Hey guys!
You guys can say it, you got me! I am a traveling wind technician, changing oil in the gearboxes. I’ve been listening consistently since this last summer, and you guys have been my positive Broncos news all season, and my only good source when I spent a month too close to chiefsdom. Thank you for what you guys did then, and now I’m a new member!
I’ve been so excited to see our trades and free agent acquisitions, but I did not see us getting Melvin Gordon! With everything Gordon brings to the table, do you see him and Lindsay doing a share of snaps or can we see more dual RB plays? And where does Freeman now fit in?
Thanks again gents! I don’t have the option to stay home, but we do what we can to limit our social interactions (gotta keep the lights on!)

Hey guys!
Mase, I’m a bit disappointed. “No 43yo has ever had a breakout year”. I was at the self check-out line at the grocery store, listening to the pod, when you said this. I looked like a lunatic, scaring several people in a 30ft radius when I involuntarily shouted JAMIE MOYER!!!! I even got a sideways look from the security guard. Mase, how can you forget his legend, or Nolan Ryan for that matter? Ryan had Robin Ventura in a headlock at age 46. And yes, Ryan’s decline did start at 42, but it didn’t affect his win-loss record until 44. Moyer, however, got better after 41. Dropped his ERA from a 5.21 to a 4.3 in two years, and won his first and only world series start at age 45. I know starting pitchers and starting QBs is not an apples to apples comparison. Brady has talked about his longevity as if he were the second coming of either. While odds are he has a Montana or Favre like stint in Tampa Bay, your hope (as a bucs fan) is that Brady has a stretch in Tampa like Moyer did in Philadelphia.
Speaking of Brady, what number will he wear in TB? Does he pay off Chris Godwin to get 12, or does he go back to 10, which he wore in college? He’d have to pay off Scotty Miller as well. Also, 10 would be an awkward number considering Eli…
Anyhoo, this week has had me busting out the spackle. I tend to jump with my fists in the air when I get excited. At my height, that doesn’t combine well with standard 10 foot ceilings. 2 for Bouye, 1 for Casey, and 2 for Gordon. I didn’t know who Glasgow was, so no hole for him. Is that it, or does John have one more trick up his sleeve?
MarkITsnatch
No holes for Nick Gannett, either. So I think I have enough spackle

Hey Mase, RK, & Zac, Zac, again, very glad you’re back, so sorry for your loss & your gf’s loss, that’s not an easy thing to cope with so while you are out there working your tail off, the DNVR family is here for you man. Alright. I gotta be honest: if John Elway does not make another move for the rest of the off-season apart from the draft, I’m happy. Trying to recap all the moves, John brought in: Bouye, Casey, Gordon, and GG-Graham Glasgow. He let go of Jano, McGovern, and CHJ so far. I’m thrilled with this. Outside of you guys, I still don’t follow the NFL that closesly, outside of player transactions, IE trades and signings. I know who Melvin Gordon is. I didn’t know about AJ Bouye or Jurrell Casey, but both guys seem to be above average, as well as GG. The guys they let go seem to be about average players around the NFL, not terrible, but not great. Also, tell me I’m wrong here, but every single one of Elway’s moves in the last 3 weeks appear to SCREAM wide receiver as the 1st round pick of this draft, because it’s so far the only role they have not brought a player outside of the Broncos organization to fill that hole. Ok, so in a vacuum, say the Broncos do trade with the 49ers for that 13th pick, and say all 3 of Lamb, Jeudy, and Ruggs are on the board. I’m taking Jerry Jeudy, because I feel like he would be the best receiver of the 3, even though the other two bring more speed than he does. To a man, who would you take? Alright, sorry to go a bit long today, but I’m finally wrapping this up with a question for Mase, since the last time I asked, it was just RK & Zac, Mase, what is 37 1/2 times 2? Thank you DNVR Broncos trio, you guys have been nothing but crushing it and having Mase along for the 2020-21 season is only gonna add to that. Go DNVR Broncos, and go Broncos!

Some big life news! I have been offered a position in a 15 month rotational program in a manufacturing development program. Upon my graduation in May from OU, I will be moving to the Louisville, KY! So if anybody is from that area and knows of any rent houses I could look for hit me up! Also I’d like to ask that y’all keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I enter this transition in my life. I’m sure my mom is already having conniptions thinking about me being 10 hours from home lol!
KentuckyUDFA
I live in Louisville and my cousin has a couple rental homes you may or may not be interested in depending on your location needs. Hit me up on Twitter @aaronbleuel2 and I can get you connected with him. If he doesn’t have something for your needs he may be able to point you in the right direction. Congrats on the move brother, Louisville is a pretty good time.

Not only does CHJ not get a big payday, he won’t win anything there either. So confused on his motive. If he really wanted to sleight the Broncos don’t you guys think he would’ve taken the Raiders offer? Like RK said, he totally went about this the wrong way
Screw This
Now that free agency is pretty much over and we know what major holes we still have. Would you be okay with drafting either Ruggs or Juedy in the first and if he is there Laviska in the second? We still have two big holes to feel on the line but hopefully Biadasz falls in the third and we will only have one giant BOLLES to fill.

Hey Fellas,
After 2 years of listening to the Pod, I finally subscribed- you can officially say – WE GOT EM. I love the offseason coverage and when THE sports encyclopedia himself, Mase, joined the squad – ya’ll leveled up to 75!
But in all seriousness, I subscribed because I know times are trying for everyone. I can imagine the bummer it must be to open the DNVR Bar, only to have all bars close down this month. I wanted to subscribe to let you all know that I GOT YOU too! What you do matters, and it’s helping everyone during this time. So thank you.
Keep providing the best sports coverage out there. And do it while enjoying those Breck Brews (preferably that Nitro Irish Stout). The sports world needs to take notice of the DNVR takeover.
Asking for a friend
I don’t know if it’s just me being a homer, but Mr. Elway seems to be crushing FA even down to restructuring Callahan. When was Elway’s last FA class that had a major impact the next season?
Run Phil Run
Hey Guys,
Long time no comment, but rest assured I listen to EVERY pod.
I wanted to get your thoughts on the impact of OTA’s being canceled and even the possibility of training camp being shortened on account of the Corona Virus. My primary concern is Drew Lock having a limited time to learn and practice the new Shurmur offense. Do you think limited time in the building and limited time with Shurmur might hinder Lock’s performance this upcoming season? Curious to hear your thoughts.
Thoughts and prayers with everyone as this pandemic continues to sweep several nations.

Question for you guys related to Melvin Gordon – I obviously don’t think running back is a good allocation of cap, but in the Broncos situation it’s fine. My bigger question mark is simply if Melvin Gordon is any good as a runner? Watching him a couple times a year and seeing that he has averaged over 4 yards per carry once (no doubt his 2018 season was good) I question if he his anything more than a league average back. I definitely see the value in him as a receiver. What are y’alls thoughts on his running and his production throughout his career?
Naterade
Curious on your thoughts on how the current Covid situation could potentially impact Locks development as a QB and w/ his WRs? Also, have y’all heard if the players are still working out one way or another on their own during this period?

Hey guys, with the extra time now due to all the crisis and thanks to nfl network being free was watching most of the lions games from this past season, paying close attention to glasgow. Something interesting i noticed, every game i watched glasgow took at least 1 drive off and I had never seen such thing as a guard rotation, is that a thing in the NFL or you guys know anything if that is his strategy to rest in the middle of the game, anyway was just curious and really liked what i saw from him, great guard. Thanks as always for the pods especially in times like this.
DLHC
Hey guys, with the Melvin Gordon addition to Phil where would you rank our back field, top 5?
Mike Trout
My first reaction to signing Flash was hell yeah more weapons. That soon went away when I remembered the Chargers Vs Titans game last year. The ending of that game left me thinking thank god we have Phil. Let’s hope that Gordon can wash that Chargers curse off! Cause I sure as heck can’t ever see Phil putting the ball on the turf twice in three plays…
dan birk
have y’all noticed a concerted effort from the front office to target players that have been mostly healthy throughout their careers? melvin gordon isn’t the picture of health, but he’s been mostly available throughout his career. casey and glasgow have barely missed starts in their career. vannett is unspectacular but he’s been healthy throughout his career.
something else i’ve noticed is that people are a lot less harsh on elway these days. before lock’s 5 starts, elway was frequently criticized by the national media. now they’ve shifted their criticism onto dave gettleman, ryan pace, and bill o brien (……).
most fanbases tend to side with the players over the front office, but broncos fans are in a unique position- not just in football but likely across all sports- where their decision-maker is an all time great and the best player in franchise history, so we’re probably more emotionally invested than most when elway gets criticized, so it’s good that the heat is off him (for now).
Kaleb ChiWhoHa
Hearing yalls instant reaction to the Melvin signing was AWESOME! That is all.

Hey DNVR Fam, new subscriber here long time listener. I figured now is as good of time as any to subscribe and get all the possible Denver sports content I can, in order to keep myself from going crazy! I just wanted to know what you think about the possibility of drafting a Ruggs/Jeudy/Lamb/Mims at 15 and then drafting a possible Viska/Aiyuk in the 2nd? I think it could be the move to make that practically ensures someone is always going to be open taking a page out of the KCs book. Sorry for the long comment excited to be apart of the Fam!
Mr.Undrafted
It seems everyone wants to not sign a Wr in free agency and try and take one of the top guys in the draft. If we dont have a chance to draft one of those guys what are the chances we trade back and draft a guy like patrick queen, then use those picks and 1 or 2 of our third rounds to move back into the 1st and get a Olinemen or a late round WR as well?
OnionTownLynx
Hey! How’s it going, guys?
No, I mean it. How are you? Cause I just woke up at 5:00 am with an incredibly strong urge to perform statistical analysis on a topic I haven’t had a true passion for in at least the last five years.
Anyways, FOOTBALL!
1. As the ability of the RB to get to top speed during the handoff and the offensive line’s push are the only things to do with Yards Before Contact, which would you say is the reason Philip Lindsay ranks 8th in YBC at 2.8 yards? I ask because Royce Freeman is tied for 32nd and since he’s so bad, I’m wondering why Melvin Gordon is only averaging .1 yards more than him where he is tied for 29th. Yards After Contact is also important, but not nearly as much. Philip Lindsay is ranked tied for 37th(1.8 YAC), Freeman tied at 33rd(1.9 YAC), and Melvin Gordon tied for 33rd(1.9 YAC). Now, I realize they’re in the company of Lamar Jackson, Christian McCaffrey, and Kerryon Johnson but do these stats say anything negative about any of those three backs? What changes do you think happen this year with these stats? Sorry for making this sound like a math problem but I was just feelin’ them statistics this morning (I’m sure Mase understands).
2. If you could study one thing for the rest of your existence, only one, and become an expert on it over time outside of football, what might that thing be? For me, I think I would like to study the growth cycles/patterns of plant life on earth. I hear there’s a remarkable pattern to it that every living creature -including humans- has. The Fibonacci Sequence. This is an incredible piece of science that many don’t know about but it always intrigues me.
I’ll leave you to enjoy your Monday afternoon, evening or whatever you’re having today in quarantine.

Man what a free agency elway gets a B …. I dont like the Melvin gordon contract or else id say A++ but i think analyst and bronco fans gotta have some perspective …..
Phils age was always going to be an issue but he deserves an extension however does everyone forget we brought in theo riddick ??? So clearly phil as a pass catcher was an issue that needed to be addressed ….. Now i feel like we took riddick and freeman combined those two rbs and upgraded them with melvin gordon … So i get shurmur’s vision
THIS ISN’T ELWAY THIS IS ELWAY TURNING A NEW LEAF …..think about it
Boyue – Vics Guy
Glassgow – Mike Munchaks Guy
Melvin Gordon- Shurmurs Guy
He trust them and hes conceding power to them in decision making ……
So my question no you all is with all the signings other then obviously Heurman (why isnt he cut already ??? ) Who else is a roster bubble now becuase i really hope that we not only double up on wrs but i hope we draft both
Akeem Gaither – Davis , and Logan Wilson
Isn’t Todd davis a roster bubble too ???
OOPS almost forgot …..U HAVE TO DO A DNVR WATCH ON TIGER KING I MEAN ……IT IS SOOOOO GOOD OMG LOL!!!

Happy Quarantine everyone! Been watching your awesome free agency coverage and I have to say Big John quietly knocked this one out of the park. Our 2020 D looks mean. Still keeping my fingers crossed that the lack of interest in Wolfe leads him back to us on a team friendly contract. A guy can hope
But that’s not why I’m commenting….paintball is!!! I wanted to get in on Ryan’s paintball stories with one of my own, but not from paintball, simmunitions. It’s a long one, sorry In advance. Image playing paintball with real bullets, these things are 5.56 millimeter bullets (AR-15 rounds) with a slightly reduced gunpowder charge so they aren’t fatal and have a solid plastic projectile covered with paint marker and a lead weight at the back of it so it travels farther and with more velocity. We don’t wear face masks while training with them, just our shooting glasses and helmets along with stuffing a sock in the front of your pants to protect what really matters. The usual hit penetrates your clothing and lodges itself in your skin.
Usually when we do this type of training we mop the floor with the people defending against us And rarely take a hit, but one time in Croatia we decided to go against Croatia’s national counter-terror force in a hostage rescue scenario to challenge ourselves. Going against a peer-level opponent turned into a complete melee for both sides with everyone being shot multiple times because everyone refused to go down after being hit. In the end we declared it a draw and had a good laugh at the new guys getting rounds cut out of their skin by the medics. We thanked the Croatians for being awesome hosts and training partners by taking them out to a music festival on one of their islands for the night and racking up a $2600 bottle service tab. None of us were able to make any headway talking to local girls since we all looked like we had the plague due to open wounds on our faces and arms, it was one of the highlights of my career.
Have a great week and wash your hands!
domsiglow
I can’t wait for this season boys. We’re set up to be a scary team this year, I say first or second wild card in the afc. I love the Melvin Gordon move for most of the reasons you guys already stated. This move gives more running options and makes us way more explosive on offense. Anyway, I’ve been looking at mocks and realized that people think other teams are picking up on Henry ruggs, making jerry jeudy or a top lineman fall to us. In this case, do you think the move is trading up for ruggs or staying put and taking whatever falls to us?
Another question: now that all the big free agency moves are over, what are your way too early division and wild card teams for each conference, and what is your super bowl prediction? These predictions will not be held against you, but will give you massive credit if you’re right.
Thanks guys, go dnvr
TKFreese
What’s up DNVR! I missed you guys. Had to get caught up on the pods this weekend. Last week was rough, as I’m sure it was for everyone. Feels like things are falling apart, but things will be ok, and I truly believe things will go back to normal. Eventually. I hope everyone is doing well! Anyway, on to the broncos. I was kinda against the Melvin Gordon signing when I first saw it, just because of my love of Phil, but after watching some Gordon film, I think they can coexist extremely well and be one of the best 1-2 punches in the NFL. Do you guys have any insight on how Phil feels about the signing? Is he for it? Is he upset? I saw the report come out that Gordon would be RB1 while Phil would be 2. Who is saying that? It should be whoever has the hot hand, as I think it WILL be! Anyway I think this works out for us, and we have a top 10 rushing offense next year. Also I think Jurrell Casey will be one of the best moves for any team of the off-season. And extremely underrated! Anyway thanks for everything you guys do! Stay safe. Everything will be better then ok!
Bobby_Boucher
Fellas, it has been a minute since I commented but I’ll jump in here. These moves over the past week have indeed been exciting and have me jacked up. I have this nagging thought in my head though that keeps me from getting too hyped. Do you remember how unenthusiastic and melancholy this team looked so often last year….like there was no fire burning in their belly? You could trace it all the way back into last preseason (the 49ers game sticks out to me). Of course you remember! You guys talked about it consistently. You even went so far as to insinuate that Vic and Flacco’s personality style may have been contributing factors…they just didn’t show excitement about anything. So…why should I believe that has changed? Sure, Flaccid Flacco has been relegated to the surface of the sun but there wasn’t any leadership or direction coming from him. Vic’s the same guy he was before and I’m not sure I would even want him to change. We have added talent to the roster and there may be a change of the guard in store for the Broncos (SB 50 guys falling off the roster), but is that enough? What have you seen that makes you believe that the fire in this team’s belly is going to be burning white hot?
SirJamesRadio
Little fun question for you Gents, who is everybody’s favorite sports broadcaster?
I am a huge fan of Mauro Ranallo from the world of MMA, Showtime Boxing and most notably Pro Wrestling. His passion is just next level and just bring whatever he is calling from an event, to a spectacle.
And for a random bit of news from this weekend I am now on a first-name basis with Jim Plunkett which is surprisingly really easy when you share the same first name….
The Danimal
One more comment since I saw a few others mention athletes who were great in their mid-40s. Randy Cotoure, who at the age of 44 came out of retirement as the smallest heavyweight in the UFC and took the belt from Tim Sylvia. If you ever want to see a performance give you goosebumps watch the opening round of that fight.
He defended the belt six months later against an even more dangerous opponent who had 30 pounds of size on him in Gonzaga. #oldguysrule

Hey guys!
Hope you had a pleasant weekend!
My latest version of Madden is Madden 18, so I couldn’t join the league unfortunately, but I did create Phillip Lindsay in franchise mode this weekend which has been very entertaining haha
Anyway, I’ve also been watching Game Pass of Drew Lock games at the end of last season. I’ve noticed that Yiadom and DaeSean have made some plays!
Is the jury out on those two guys, or do they still have a chance to grow and make an impact next season?
Stay safe! The great content is always appreciated, and even better as something to kind of ease the mind during these crazy times.

I got a long comment here today. But we’re on a lockdown here in Indiana now, so bring on the 3 hour pods!
This morning, I did a little experiment where I took a look at the guys that are already under contract through 2021 and are locks to make the 2021 roster. I supplemented that roster with what I think is a reasonable haul for this year’s draft. In the draft, I am suggesting that Elway take a receiver in round one, tackle in round two, and Biadasz in round 3 or late in round 2 after a trade up. Then I’m cutting Ju’Wuan James after next season, taking on $3 million in dead cap to save $11 million. So that I don’t get out of hand, I’m not factoring in 2021 draft picks, any free agent additions.
With all of that, we are looking at a core of 21 players that cost a combined $145 million. This list includes anyone that is already under contract for 2021 and is a lock to make the team, even if they are just a depth piece by then.
And remember, this is 2021. There will be great internal development between now and then in Lock, Risner, Fant, Dre’Mont, Chubb, Sutton, and maybe others too.
Okay, here’s a glimpse of the framework of the Broncos roster two years from now:
QB: Lock
WR1: Sutton
WR2: Jeudy/Lamb/Ruggs at 15 overall
WR3: Hamilton
TE1: Fant
TE2: Vannett
RB1: Melvin
RB2: Phil
LT: Austin Jackson/Ezra Cleveland/Lucas Niang at #46 overall
LG: Risner
C: Biadasz at #77 overall
RG: Glasgow
Pass Rush: Von, Chubb, Malik Reed
Defensive Tackle: Jurrell Casey, Dre’Mont Jones
Linebacker: AJ Johnson
Corner: Bouye, Callahan
Safetie: Jackson, Simmons
The holes on the roster are right tackle, inside linebacker, and the third corner slot. Elway is left with $45-70 million dollars to address those needs and fill out the rest of the roster with depth players and draft picks.
If Lock can play at a level of someone like Deshaun Watson, then this team is set up to be a contender for a deep run into the playoffs in the 2021 season. This has been an incredible rebuild by John.
Maybe, just maybe, the Bowlen family rides off into the sunset with a Super Bowl trophy, just like Elway and Peyton did.
