First off, do you buy this? I’m not familiar with Ben’s relationship to the Broncos. No hate against him, but is he similar to Mike Kliss? if you know what i mean.

Any chance that the DeMeco Ryans talk and the talk about Sean Payton not being the guy is a smokescreen to try to get the Saints to lower their price?

Guys i think it’s obvious what happened yesterday, the Broncos informed Quinn and Payton through back channels that they have an agreement with Ryans, Quinn took it gracefully and went back to Dallas but Payton made had clown show of leaks and then took it back to save face. I am relieved that we dogged that bullet, i never wanted Payton here and much less to give up draft picks for him. The only 3 coaches i would give up draft picks for are Reid, Shanahan and Tomlin.
For everything I’ve heard from everyone who has spoken about Ryans he is the type of leader and person to guide this team to the future, if you want to be convinced please hear the Brian Cushing interview with bct.

Been a long time between comments, started a new job with not as much free time. But I try to tune in as much as I can!
I was never a big Sean Payton advocate for the head coach job, after bounty gate and the messy situation he left in New Orleans.
Now with all of the fake news and misinformation swirling around, he seems to have thrown his toys out of the cot. Not a man we need leading this franchise.
I think we may have dodged a metaphorical bullet.

As far the turf vs natural grass surface, i agree with yall that grass is significantly better and they can spend the extra money to maintain it. Up here in seattle, every play field here has turf because it wont turn into a mudpit after several use by the public..which makes sense, but also NFL teams have the money and resources to maintain a nice playing surface for their players. Look at the EPL, these guys have the same wet environment as the PNW, and all have outdoor stadiums where the pitch is prone to the elements, but they actually spend the money to make that playing surface a safer one for players.
