Hey guys,
Been meaning to ask this for a couple weeks, but do you think that the Broncos could have a similar situation that Atlanta has, where they have 2 number 1 receivers with Cortland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy, just like Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley? Just curious on your thoughts.
On another note, can we just take time to appreciate someone I wish was in this locker room- Jamal Adams! This guy seriously called out the entire Jets franchise saying the “do not want to win”. On top of that, the time he said he would die playing football before he entered the draft that caused a lot of debate. This man loves the game and loves to win. He is quickly becoming one of my favorite players in this league and I wish all but the best for that man. Appreciation post over.

Fellas,
I was thinking about what qb’s from the past were born in the wrong era. The days of the pocket passer are leaving us so I wonder which mobile qb from yesteryear would be more successful had they played in today’s NFL.
Roger Staubach
Kordell Stewart
Donovan McNabb
Fran Tarkenton
Steve Young
Randall Cunningham
Michael Vick
For the sake of argument let’s assume they get drafted by a team that will play to their strength and gives them the best chance to be successful.

God forbid we go 3-13 or 4-12 and vic gets fired.. how do y’all feel about bringing back john fox? He isn’t the greatest coach, but he has made a career out of pulling franchises out of the shit and stabilizing them. Carolina and of course Denver. I’m sure Mase can pull some stats out of thin air to support my theory lol. I wouldn’t be STOKED about the move, but I think Fox would bring a great stabilizing force back to the Broncos and could act as a place holder until a great candidate becomes available and/or Denver becomes a desirable destination again. I had no idea how good we had it when I was in high school and we won Superbowl 50. All I want is our franchise to become respectable again. Appreciate all you do fellas, stay safe!

Greetings Gents,
I was listening all week and vehemently wanted to post on Monday’s pod but wanted to listen to the rest of Broncos country about how frustrating of a loss Sunday was. Man oh man that one stung.
I was doing some talking with one of my friends who is a die hard Vikings fan and we discussed the whole QB discussion that has happened between Cousins/Bridgewater/Keenum. He says that he would have rather had Teddy but got Cousins instead. He also said that if Teddy wouldn’t have gotten hurt they would have a championship right now. Considering as though we got Keenum in this whole Eskimo brother Vikings situation, I couldn’t help but think would Kirk Cousins have a similar situation with Denver as he did with the Vikings over the past 5 years? Get to the playoffs a couple times but never really get over the hump? Or were there just too many problems in Denver that whoever was the QB it wouldn’t have made a difference? Thoughts?

Since 2015, any team that wins 4 or less games get a top 5 pick. Sadly, this is possible for our beloved Broncos. The schedule is tough. Here’s the games coming up and my percentage we could pull the upset. You thoughts on those percentages?
Miami – 25%
New Orleans – 10%
@KC – 5%
@Carolina – 40%
Buffalo – 20%
@LA Chargers – 50%
Las Vegas – 33%
I’m cheering at this point for the Football team to win enough to pass us as they are going to want a QB and the Jets and Jags have the 1st 2 picks wrapped up. Zach Wilson is in range for the Broncos if we can get in the top 5 and the Football team isn’t before us.
I hate to lose, but what good is 6-10 or 7-9 going to do for the team? Evaluate Lock to see if he can improve and if he doesn’t we’ll be in position to get a highly regarded prospect. No guarantee he will work out, but you have to try it and ignore those who say you can’t find a QB. As it’s a crap shoot. Look at 2018 draft, Mayfield, Darnold and Rosen have been poor and only Allen has stepped up. We have to keep drafting them, till we hit. Just need to learn a bit more each time.
Thoughts on Zack Wilson and Mac Jones?

Hey guys, this season sure has been disappointing, we expected an inconsistent team with highs and lows but i didnt imagine so many lows and very little highs. But the team has shown to have very nice building blocks for the future so i keep the faith that next season could be better when half the team comes back from injury.
We knew that this season was all about evaluating Drew and i think him not playing this week can help this evaluation, if Bret does well with the same O-line, the same scheme and the same weapons, it can show us that the problem comes from Drew. I really wanted him to be the guy and last year it seamed the game was not to big for him but that has sadly changed. I really hope he can turn it around this year and be our qb for the next 10 years, but if he doesn’t, does this means we need to cheer for Nick Wright and his predictions of 3-13? Wow 2020 is the gift that keep on giving!.
Thank for all you do, the articles, the podcast, your posts on Twitter and all the great coverage for my favorite team
Nathaniel Thiccett?
I know RK hates him but let’s say Ian Book is available in round 3, do you take him? I think he is a much better fit for the Shurmur offense and if all he does well is go through his progressions and not turn the ball over it would be an improvement. The downside is I think he has a low ceiling but a high floor and has been spoiled sitting behind the Notre Dame line. It may be a rude awakening for him when Chris Jones or Joey Bosa is in his face after 3 seconds.
I’ll leave you with this quote from Obi-Wan, “You were the chosen one, Drew. You were supposed to destroy the Raiders, not become their [beep]. You were supposed to bring balance to this offense, not leave it in darkness.” Or it was something like that. Stay thicc.

hey guys
does a scenario exist where elway takes a step back from day to day football operations next year and becomes more of a ‘figurehead’ for the broncos and matt russell becomes the GM?
i think people underestimate how well respected russell is nfl circles and he already got promoted once this offseason so it’s not unreasonable to think they could promote him once more. it always felt like russell was being groomed for something bigger eventually. they definitely increased his visibility this offseason as far as interviews and videos on the team website are concerned, so it makes me wonder if this is part of some plan.
also would y’all trust russell to pick a qb more than elway? i remember back in the 2018 pre-draft process it was reported that he and kubiak were big fans of mayfield so he’s probably willing to go for someone unconventional more than john is.

What’s up guys? Happy Thursday. I have some hypotheticals and I want to know which one you guys would rather have happen
1. The broncos win one super bowl in the next 5 years but don’t make the playoffs the other four years
2. Broncos make the next 5 Super Bowls but get blown out in each one
3. Broncos go 0-16 one year, win a super bowl the next year and then go 0-16 again, and then win another Super Bowl
4. Broncos become the pre Mahomes chiefs and make the playoffs for the next 5 years but get eliminated in the wildcard each time
Thanks again for your coverage and enjoy watching Kyler V Russ tonight

Hey y’all! Can you please elaborate on what you mean when you say that bringing in Eric Beinemy as HC would be “too close to home”? He’d be the perfect fit for this young offensive group imo…what is it that you know that we don’t? Why do you seem to be so reluctant about considering him as an option if/when Vic is let go?

MY BOYS! The Dolphins blitz nearly 40% of the time, and they have generated 15 turnovers this season, which they often turn into points. The Broncos better have the hot reads, quick passing, and screen game actually show up this week, whether the quarterback is Drew Lock or Brett Rypien. In some ways, Rypien, who is better pre-snap recognition, could be better a fit to play this week. I am not advocating for such unless Lock isn’t healthy enough to play, because the Broncos need Lock to get as many snaps as possible in their final seven games this season. As of right now, do you think that Lock makes enough progress over the final seven weeks to be the starter next season? If you had to prognosticate as to who Denver’s starter is Week 1 of the 2021 season, who is it and why? Have a tremendous Thursday, including a great matchup tonight. DNVRMY SALUTE!
Orange and Blue all over
Broncos have lost the orange and have blue the season.
Question on RB outlook.
What is status/likelihood/timing of a 3 game gordon suspension for dui? Haven’t heard anything for a while.
Assuming it occurs this year and Phil gets bellcow role – how might those 3 games effect phils values going forward?
Which 3 games would be ideal for this suspension to occur for Phil – which 3 for Broncos? How would increased phil impact expected win/loss of those games?
Cheers!
