RK, I tried to ask you this earlier this week but you weren’t on the pod! You said in an earlier pod that you would rather have Drew Lock as your QB than Matt Ryan because Matt Ryan hasnât proven he could do it at the highest level. After the 12th season in Elwayâs career, he hadnât proven himself at the highest level yet either. Does that mean that you would prefer 2020 Drew Lock over 1995 John Elway?
Mike Trout
I wonder if stadiums not having fans would result in fewer mental mistakes from our rookies and young guys…. and of course Garrett Bolles ha
The Big T
Bolles might look like Joe Thomas out there this year ?

Knock-on-wood preface –
Which single player other than Lock can the Broncos least afford to lose for a large Chunk of the season?

Great question. Miller or Sutton for me.

I may regret voicing my opinion on this, from fear of being attacked. But, I will say it anyway, as this should be a safe environment to do so.
Politics aside, ANY player that did or is willing to march in public places with tens of thousands of people, shoulder to shoulder, who then goes on to say “they are not comfortable playing any Professional sport due to fear of contracting corona virus because it’s not safe” is a hypocrite!
Regardless of the worthiness of the cause, are the inherent risks and consequences not the same? Would the season not be another platform to continue the struggle for social justice, use it to their advantage?
This is coming from a peaceful place, try not to hate.
The Big T
Or, you could interpret it, as them seeing the march as more important than earning millions of dollars playing football. Which, if you take a step back, is eye opening, and inspiring, and added more weight to the cause. That is how I took it anyway.

Zac and Ryan mentioned earlier this week that the Broncos should try taking advantage of their youth and the altitude by employing a hurry-up offense in Week 1. Well, Drew Lock is definitely familiar with a fast pace offense. Josh Heupel was his coach at Missouri for his junior season, and Heupel runs as fast an offense as anyone. Our guy Mase would be well acquainted with that as Heupel has led my UCF Knights to a 2-0 record against his USF Bulls with a combined score of 72-17.

Whatâs up guys! The draft dudes podcast has been going through NFL teams and picking 5 players that they would make eligible if an expansion draft were to happen. I thought it was a cool idea, and wanted to hear what your answers would be for the Broncos! The main criteria were: the players couldnât be entering unrestricted free agency in 2021, no kickers or punters, and nobody coming off IR. Canât wait to hear which players you come up with!

Hey yâall
When in public, it is ok to crack your knuckles but never to knuckle your crack. Iâll see myself out.

so jamal adams wants to be traded…….
considering that the broncos have so much money tied in their secondary, it’s probably not happening but hear me out;
the only way i could ever see it happening is to include justin simmons as part of a trade package. now i know they play different positions and the (free) safety depth behind simmons is…..not good, but if they’re planning on paying simmons then they could justify using that money on adams. i’m assuming they would have to throw in a pick with simmons to make this work. lets say it’s a 2nd plus simmons for adams.
worth noting that the bears- and by extension vic- were extremely interested in adams in 2017, to the point where adams was convinced they were going to take him at 3.
i personally think simmons is too valuable off the field to part ways with but if the broncos REALLY wanted adams then that’s probably what they’d have to do. what do y’all think?

Here’s a fun Friday question to settle a debate me and my Chargers buddy are having at the moment. We very rarely disagree on our assessments, but this one we just aren’t budging on..
The question is, who do you think had a higher peak? Aaron Donald or JJ Watt.
He says 2018 Donald, and is unmoved on it, refuses to budge, but I think he is forgetting just how utterly incredible JJ Watt was for 3 or 4 seasons (2012-15 I think). He was INCREDIBLE, probably still the best player I have seen play live.
Also, the only player I have ever heard Belichick say is comparable to LT, is Watt.
So, which do you think was better? Slightly different players, yes, and Watt does line up more on the edge than Donald does, but similar styles, pass rush moves, and body type.
I still say Von Miller is a better player than both, as he can cover too, but all three are in LTs shadow as the greatest defensive player of all time.
Peace out and love to all

Hey guys ! Hey Ryan I’m asking from yesterday but you weren’t here ….. What has your experience been with Kj in your Madden leagues ??? Madden thinks very highly of kj because no matter the 2020 draft class roster I download for the 4 different Madden leagues I’m in ….or where they place him once you develop him into an Xfactor he’s unstoppable ….. He has a Moss trait he has like 97 speed and his catch in traffic is insane he’s been the best reciever in the rookie class for me on Madden what’s your experience been ….??
Also based on analytics ….Jerry Jeudy got the biggest seperation from defenders in college football last year….. The only person who came close to Jeudy was KJ Hamler ? hmmmmm…….. Wonder if elways like Drew. Their gonna be open it’s up to you to make the neccesary throws bro lol ……..
I know Peyton had a talk with the rookies …. I was wondering …… We had the best offense of all time …..Imagine what Peyton could do with this 2020 bronco’s roster ;!!! Geesh lol … Have a good weekend fellas

Hey guys! After hearing about the Kareem Jackson and the other players, how important do you think having depth in all positions (especially for the Broncos) is?
Do you think that teams like the chiefs or others who are mostly top heavy(not having good/a lot of depth) will struggle more if their top players have to be gone for two weeks because of Covid?
Thanks and go DNVR!

Happy bum talk Friday and happy Father’s Day to Mase! Hope you have an awesome, encouraging weekend with your daughter. As for the rest of you, maybe one day I’ll wish the same for you but for now I just hope you have a regular encouraging weekend.
No question today, just a reminder that vinegar based sauce is not real BBQ sauce and we should sign Corey Robinson as WR 4.
Another Ryan
MY foLksy BOYS! Happy Feel Good/Fired Up/Bum Talk Friday! Peyton Manning is the gift that keeps on giving. I love that he met with all of the Broncos’ rookies this week via Zoom to discuss the adjustment and commitment needed to make it in the NFL. Zac, can you say this in Jon Gruden’s voice, please? ‘The Sheriff is just a good dude.’
The Broncos’ organization and their fans are incredibly fortunate that PFM decided to sign with Denver in 2012 and that he has remain engaged with the Broncos since his retirement. I particularly liked what Lloyd Cushenberry III said about Manning’s remarks. Specifically, Manning really stressed to the rookies the importance of practice and how he took practice seriously every single day and as seriously as an actual game. If this talented group of rookies can be as dedicated as Manning, then the future will be bright indeed. Manning epitomizes what the Roman philosopher Seneca once said, âLuck [or success] is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.â
Happy Fathers’ Day to all of the dads out there. Sadly or thankfully, the awkward promos involving a particular product being gifted for the occasion ends today. LOL! What are you actually planning to give your dads for Fathers’ Day? If you don’t want to spoil a surprise, you can share on Monday’s podcast instead.
Have a wonderful weekend, fellas. DNVRMY SALUTE!

My boys! I was out of town this weekend so yesterday I binged every single pod from the week on the road trip home! It made the trip fly by, so thank you! First, mustard is amazing, all mustard, it makes most things better, sandwiches, burgers Etc. Second. Zac, mr. consistent, the guy with the perfect laugh, OPEN YOUR EYES, you say Tom Brady is the goat with so much confidence in your voice and I think your amazing, but it pisses me off every time. Brady is the most overrated player in NFL history! I understand his great but people talk of him being the goat so easily? Belichick is the goat of that team! He made Brady, if you had a bunch of bums on a team and needed to win one game to save your life, whoâs your QB? Mr. check down? NO! Itâs so many others!! Anyway I wonât go on anymore but Brady is washed and bucs wonât make the playoffs next year, they are looking at 8-8 or 9-7, sorry Mase. Zac, your better then this! You guys rock! Thanks for making my trip and life more enjoyable with the pods! Stay safe! All love.
