My boys! I was wondering, if Vic Fangio is let go, who would be your top 3 head coaches to come to Denver and who do you think are the top 3 most realistic hires? Are these two different lists or is there some overlap?

Hi guys,
I’ve come to the realisation that George Paton was hired to be an Elway clone, he has shown nothing different to sway me.
By the way, how good is Mac Jones going!

Howdy Gents,
Brown requesting to leave after being misused is the epitome of the ineptitude of the coaching staff. Only used in motion behind the line. I legitimately feel like Shurmur believed that was part of some great RPO due to how many times it was run and the handoff fakes. Sitting in the box chuckling to himself on how it’s a great call every time, meanwhile the defense sees the feeble attempt and pushes the line back resulting in a TFL.
Anywho, coming to Denver again this year. RK where did you happen to sit in the stands? Looking for a great seat. Any recommendations on section?
Thanks for the pod as always.

Hi guys,
Reposted from tuesday
Take this comment in jest!
Last week i had no interest in watching the browns game, until a certain DNVR person said “I guarantee a win”, that was enough for me, took the day off work, im a contractor, so no work no pay!
So, who shall i send the invoice for lost revenue to, RK? SPANO? Or can i send it to Elway or Paton?
On a serious not, this franchise is YUK! Start Rypien and lose every game, and get a top 3 pick.
Cheers!

Does nobody remember how awful Drew was last year lol? He was bad at reading the field. Completely freaks out with any pressure at all. When he came in this year for the Baltimore game you could see how freaked out he was all over his face. He was a 2nd round pick and if the league valued him he would have been traded by now. Teddy is not the future but I’m so frustrated by people thinking Drew is going to come in and be the future. I get people are desperate but come on guys. I say burn it all down and rebuild, after this year. It’s time.

You can take one nuggets, avalanche and rockies player to join the Broncos, who is it and what position are they playing?

Jokic is the qb!

Greetings all,
Haven’t commented in a while but still listening in regularly. I try to get in on the comments section of the live chat when your live on YouTube though so I still feel involved.
Don’t want to reiterate any negative comments here because I think all those grievances have already been aired. I do want to mention one thing though. Let’s just call this the year of mase already! Mase’s teams have all been straight fire this year with championships all the way around. The only blemish mase…. Chelsea knocking man city out of the champions league trophy. Womp womp.
Anyways Go dnvr, iceman, avs and nuggets

It’s clear Noah Fant was a waste of a 1sr round pick. The guy is athletic but looks uninterested when he has the ball in his hands and also when he doesn’t. What is your honest assessment of him at this point? I’d rather see Albert O and Saubert on the field

My Boys!
It’s been a long while since I’ve commented. But of course I’m always tuning into the pod.
I’m excited to say that I will be making a solo trip out to this Sunday’s game from Utah and of course i’ve already got my party bus & tailgate tickets locked in! I must admit though…buying tickets to the game was a very impulsive purchase as I, like most of us, was tricked into believing that we finally had a competent team that was going to be fun to watch again after the 3-0 start…obviously that hasn’t aged well and thus I sit here feeling very orange & blue balled…I thought about selling my ticket after
the Raiders game but ultimately have decided not to…ONLY because I want to meet y’all and get the full DNVR game day experience!
Anyways…I’ve been thinking about potential HC candidates for the future…what do y’all think about Clint Kubiak? Through 6 games he has the Vikings sitting 5th in total yards, 6th in passing, 8th in rushing, & 14th in scoring(24.5/PPG). Not too shabby for a 1st year play caller. If we do in fact switch gears in coaching philosophy and go with a young offensive mind this time around could y’all see him being a dark horse candidate? The connections are obvious both with the Broncos and with George Paton.
Andrew Mason
He’s doing well, but personally, I truly hope this team gets away from the nepotism. All hiring a name like “Shanahan” or “Kubiak” will do is cue up the nostalgia crowd. It’s the fan service of coaching hires. They need to honor the past, leave it where it is and then move forward into a new day.
Barrington Wade sounds like someone who lost a duel to Alexander Hamilton. Great name!

Mase mentioned this at the beginning of yesterday’s pod, and I believe it’s the most likely scenario: Vic played a 70% Teddy because he’s afraid of Lock succeeding, not failing. Especially for 1 or 2 weeks, playing Drew is a no-win scenario for the current coaching staff. If he loses, our record continues to spiral, but if he balls out, the uproar to keep him in *and* the “what-ifs” about the 3 losses would be overwhelming. What do you think?
