Your conversation today reminded me of a famous joke I felt I had to share:
A guy is at a sold out NY Giants game and sees an open seat several rows below him. He goes down and asks if someone is sitting there.
A man replies, “The seat is open. My wife and I had season tickets and would come to every single Giants game together. We never missed a game, but she unfortunately passed away recently..”
The first man says, “I am so sorry to hear that. But were there not friends or family you could’ve brought with you?”
The widower responds, “There were. But they’re all at the funeral.”

What’s up fellas!
Just a few short days before I’m on my way out to Denver for the game!
It’s been about 8 years since I’ve been to Denver. Where are some places I absolutely need to visit while I’m there? Of course the DNVR Bar is #1 on my list!
Keep up the great pods, appreciate you guys!

Whats up legends. Now that we’re 3 games in, which players would you be OK with adding to an Aaron Rodgers trade package if they want 2 starters in addition to any picks that the Broncos would have to throw in? I know Chubb, Sutton and Dre’Mont were tossed around as potential pieces to include back in the summer. Thanks guys!

Hi guys,
Has there been any news on the ownership saga? Or will it be an end of season decision? Cheers!

hey guys,
how much of an advantage do y’all think vic’s familiarity with ravens OC greg roman works in the broncos’ favor? they were together at stanford and together with the 49ers. they were also together in carolina but roman was on the defensive side of the ball with vic for most of that time.
now, of course familiarity goes both ways. but vic’s defense has evolved since their time together however i don’t think roman’s has much- so i’m leaning towards vic having the upper hand on that matchup. what do y’all think?

My Boys!! Happy Thursday and Welcome to Week 4. Sorry I missed yall at the Bar on Monday, but my wife and I decided to tour Stranahans Whiskey Distillery before the Rockies game Monday and hit the bar after the game… shockingly enough the bar was almost empty when we were there. Who Doesn’t want to be drinking at 10:30 at night on Monday, I mean come on Y’all. Anyways the Bar was awesome and my wife was most impressed with how clean it was and I was very happy to cash in and get my member sized Avalanche Ale. Hopefully will be able to come back up soon and catch up with everyone.
Now in honor of the Broncos Ravens Matchup this weekend, I have some questions. First, which goes further, Drew Lock throwing the ball as far as he can or Justin Tucker kicking off of a hold?
Which Quarterback out of Rypien and Lock best is playing the role of Lamar Jackson and juking defenders in practice?
I know we signed Moore, but I think it would be a good idea to get another WR in the room, even if its on the practice squad, maybe a guy like Travis Fulgham?
Hope Everyone is Staying Positive and Testing Negative, Go Broncos!

Hey guys!
As football begins to go down the rabbit hole that is SABRmetrics, what kind of advanced statistics (ala WAR, JAWS, wrc+, ops+, drc+, etc.) Would you like to see develop, and what stat would you like to see about players and positions groups on this team?

Hey Kings!
Just a quick question- what did you think of Justin Simmons post about Teddy waiting to pray with him after the game on Sunday? What does this say about Teddy and his leadership skills?

My Peoples!
I was reading a “report” from those people over in the “Bleachers” about how Denver needs to bench Justin Simmons. Their whole take was Justin Simmons isnt playing any better than Caden Sterns so Bench Simmons.
As a J Sim fanboy I watch that man with Orange colored glasses. He still seems to be all over the field and still seems to be making plays. How do you guys view it?
Love Yall!

Hello Kind Sirs,
Congratulations to Von for AFC player of the month! Are tackle for loss associated with a sack or are those 2 separate categories?
Sorry for the confusing comment after the Jets game, I’ll do better!

My guys !,
The tailgate/ bar festivities were an absolute blast this past weekend.
Super cool to meet most of the gang ( except you zac your angelic voice eluded me).
I can officially say you’ve converted me to being a “cream-cheese on burgers” guy.
Anywho
Go broncos and go DNVR

Hey guys,
From the time you have spent around the team and the players/coaches how is the players/coaches vibe different this year compared to last year?
Also if you have tried the Denver cheese steak at the stadium was it good :)? I am a little scared to try things there after hearing about “Mase’s press box hot dog incidents” :). Love the DNVR Broncos coverage, from Twitter to the pods so keep up the great work!!! It helps me tremendously to stay current on the Broncos while not living in Denver.

Can’t vouch for the cheesesteak. Unfortunately, my favorite item for many years is gone; there used to be a burrito stand on the club level that would put green chile in the burrito and smothered on top (in addition to shredded chicken, rice, beans, etc.).

How might the complexion of this offense change with Boone available ?

My boys!
Just a couple comments today.
1) CanJam rules, but there is also another game that is similar called Bottle Bash/Tipsy Toss depending on version. Game is similar to CanJam but you have two poles, one on either side instead of cans, and then you put a bottle on the top of the poles. You then toss frisbees to knock the bottle off, the other team tries to catch it as it falls to save the point. Must have drink in hand (my rules).
2) I am not great at choosing games to attend. Currently 0-3. 2012 Texans @ Broncos, Matt Schaub went 290 and 4. Big games from Foster and Johnson. 2018 Texans @ Broncos, DT’s ‘return’ and field goal nonsense. 2019 Chiefs Thursday nighter, we score first, Mahomes hurts knee and Matt Moore hangs 23 points on us.
Excited for this weekend’s game, lets go 4-0 this September!
