The Denver Broncos were loaded with primetime games in 2022 with Russell Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett in town. Unfortunately for Broncos Country, most of those games were miserable, not just for the Broncos, but for the entire country. With the NFL now not guaranteeing primetime games for every team, will the Broncos get a single one? Or will Sean Payton keep Denver in the national spotlight enough to land many? What matchups would make for the best primetime games for Denver?
On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Zac Stevens, Ryan Koenigsberg and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.

The first rule of the Christmas game is we don’t talk about the Christmas game… oof.
I am all for no primetime games for a year, especially if we can skip the second time slot on the first Monday Night Football. It is the WORST waiting all weekend to see if the Broncos might be good *this* year, which has been a coin flip at best the last 6 years, and then being tired/hung over on a Tuesday (and possibly sad too).
Do the owners have any influence on the prime time aspect?
I think its clear from your GOAT talk, if you want to be in the conversation, you can’t get injured. But more importantly, you can’t sit randomly if you want to be in the conversation. Because then people might imply that you’re super soft. Soft like a popsicle on the sun. Soft like a three dollar bill. Soft like a goose fart. You know what I mean?
Best of Fridays to you all,

VON was obviously key, but if anyone “put the team on their back” it was CJ. In the broncos 5 regular season victories, CJ averaged 4.9/7.5/6.0/8.11/6.33 YDS per Carry. He was a freight train getting stronger every carry and very game. With an ailing PFM and Brock Lobster at the helm, CJ was the engine. No CJ, No Ship in my opinion.

Selfishly, and I think I may speak for all DNVR family over here in Europe, I am hoping for ZERO primetime Broncos games this season! The NFL regular kickoff times are 6pm and 9:05pm/9:25pm in the UK. So we have primetime scheduling every week! I love my Sunday evenings during the season. Generally it’s Redzone early window and Broncos in the late window, then away to bed just after midnight.
Pods, as always, informative and entertaining – great mixture of journalism takes and banter. Was also glad to help settle the height debate on Twitter! Keep up the good work. Go DNVR.
