If you had a chance to put Vic in timeout, what would it look like?

the Death By Inches treatment ?
The world of suck chair?
The False Positive Subcockle?

Get Creative gents, this is your chance to call a TE end Around on the old ball coach.

What a great signing Mark Barron was huh?!

Elway sure does love signing vets to sit on the couch and collect free money. Anytime Elway signs someone after June it’s a guaranteed bust it seems.

But hey here’s to getting a W on the Steelers. I feel I am more confident about this game than most. An old Immovable Big Ben, RT our for the year and Conner isn’t right either.

? ? ? Is going to have to come out the gate full speed! Deep bomb to Sutton/Jeudy or a screen to Hamler. And I’m feeling good about Chubb getting his first sack of the season and the team getting it’s first interception. I’m calling Bausby as well Ryan, and taking it to the house!!
Cheers Gents!

This a question for all but I think Mase will have the most insight. With the Raiders moving to Las Vegas, do you think it will have an impact on the tv broadcast territory in Utah.

Utah consistently gets the Broncos games. In recent years when the team was doing very poorly, I was shocked when the games suddenly weren’t broadcast in Utah for more competitive teams. I really hope that with the Raiders relocating to LV that somehow Utah doesn’t become home territory to those losers. Do you have any insights?

Thanks. Down with the Steelers,

Gotta disagree with the first segment here. Vic made a mistake and he will work to rectify it and keep it from happening again. Him handing over the game management duties would be the equivalent of Jerry Jeudy responding to his drops with “Just throw it to Tim Patrick.” Both guys admitted their mistakes and will work to fix them. Vic can do so without passing off his game management duties. I’d think he at least deserves the opportunity to learn and grow from it as any player would. If Lock has thrown an interception to lose the game no one would be saying “Get Jeff Driskell out there because Drew clearly can’t handle it.” Why should players receive the opportunity to learn from their mistakes but not coaches?

My Boys! Speaking of trips to Canada y’all need to come to Kelowna British Columbia during the summer once Covid is done! If you have a chance look it up on google and you’ll want to come!

One Broncos question, it’s seems like the broncos D has had issues stoping the dip and dunk offence like the titans did on Monday and Raiders do against us! Is there a good way to stop that?

Thanks from Canada, eh.

Grettings Pod Gods!
(By the way Mase, this should be read like Sanka Coffie from “COOL RUNNINGS”. I was sad you didn’t get the reference. When Derice and Sanka are trying to recruit John Candy to be their bobsled coach, Sanka says “Greetings Sled God.”)
Anyway, if you can. Please explain this. So whether or not Johnson’s unnecessary roughness was a penalty or not, Tennessee should not have kept the ball. The penalty had no effect on the pick.
Refs proved this Thursday night: Baker throws a pick. Some Bengal D-bag takes him out hard when he isn’t even near the play. Cincinnati keeps the ball but loses 15 yards. Exactly what should have happened on Monday. And they actually showed the replay of the penalty to Baker, who is the QB! Bunch of trash. We should 1,000% be 1-0.
Anyway, on to Pittsburgh.

Guys two things here;

1. I disagree with the assessment of Vic and the comparison with Jerry’s drop. I don’t mind the comparison, I disagree with the interpretation.

Jeudy would be coached on concentration, if anything. He wouldn’t be taught to catch differently. Or to catch with his feet. Or to get someone else to catch for him.

Vic needs to execute better. He needs to concentrate. His comments shouldn’t be construed as anything but him recognising an issue and that he will execute better. If Vic keeps “dropping the ball” sure. Go change it but otherwise he should work to get the execution right.

Next

I rewatched the game. Man, god they honestly look close to being special. Did the Titans drop 10 points not kicking well? Yup. But that was about the extent of their game altering miscues. We had about 6.
– JJ x 2
– Dre Mont Jones offside
– No intercept for Oje
– Justin Simmons drop intercept
– Melvin Gordon fumble

Can’t wait to see the guys on Monday morning….

So – what are the top 3 soft spots on the Steelers we need to attack? And please tell me one involves KJ Hamler taking a slant 75 to the house.

Sorry I am back….

The browns look like they managed to get all their talent clicking. Two great Rbs, two good WR, a good young TE, and a young QB…..

Sure the Bengals is not the same defence as the Ravens – but you could see the upside the talent of the browns can afford them.

Wonder if we will see the broncos click to 35 points this week?

Peace!

Hey guys …. So I watched some film on us and I’m sorry …This offense is going to have to show up this year if we can’t score 20 or more points a game Vic Fangio can’t be the coach of those team …….I think teams play the broncos thinking that defesne is really good but we can dink and dunk on them put up 16-17 points and go home with a win ……Cuz their offense sucks ! So what if we only scored 16-17 points can they score more ?

The offense left this defense gassed and on the field entirely too long after getting hit by Derrick henry 31 different times….. And listening to shurmur yesterday he’s right we have to execute.he gave in my opinion awesome perspective about the offense in the 2nd half …. If we execute then it opens up a lot more.opprotunites for other people … Drew gotta make that throw in the flat to.vanette …… We gotta punch it in on 4th -1 and Jeudy u can’t drop the ball on key downs …. They controlled that 3rd quarter and when Drew wanted to answer ….. Jeudy drops the ball ……

Like I said yesterday it’s a new day in Denver it is time for the offense to carry this team ! It’s time ! Give Fangio 25+ points hell do the rest offense !

P.s. it’s super interesting all the praise burrow got on social media and the broadcast about his competitive nature …browns defense is bad …. Really bad bengals defense is just worst .. I was super confused because drew as a rookie last year had far less talent then burrow and just as bad of an offensivline but skepticism on him , …and after 2 games u see burrow is gonna be awesome ….ok I guess lol

I am with Amirite. Vic will figure it out. It was terrible to watch, but, Vic is not John Fox he wants to give the offense a chance and will do so in the furure. Here is a Q for Zac: Are you still living in a world where Aaron Rogers is overrated? I believe you were hoping Rogers would end up in the AFC west. Still feel that way? Much love and Happy Football.

MY BOYS! Happy football/fired up/feel good/bum talk Friday! Regarding Vic Fangio’s game management issue from Week 1: It’s surprising to me, because when the Broncos hired Vic Fangio, one of things that Fangio was lauded for by other esteemed NFL coaches, who he worked for previously, was his understanding of how to manage a game, the clock, and timeouts. Specifically, Dom Capers, in an interview on the now defunct Orange and Blue 760’s Crockett & Stout Show, said: “One area that I think Vic will be outstanding in is during the time that he was the coordinator for me in Carolina and Houston, he was really outstanding I felt in game management. I would lean on him at different times during the game as a head coach on the game management decisions, because it was always well thought out, and he would have specific reasons in terms of timeout usage and decisions on whether to go for it or not. I thought that he was very good in that area.” I foresee Vic learning from this mistake and doing whatever it takes not to repeat it.

Have a wonderful weekend! GO BRONCOS and GO NUGGETS! DNVRMY SALUTE!

Hoping I made the cut off today. Hearing Mase give a shout out to my home town of Victoria BC on the pod … loved it, and was wondering what ever happened to shoutingout obscure towns to see if any subscribers called it home? Always found it cool to hear just how far reachingthe DNVR family is. If Zac ever makes his way to the great white north and to my amazing home town I’d love to show you this amazing city; actually that goes for the entire DNVR family!

Hey Fellas,

To what do you attribute the Broncos inability to score from the 1 yard line over the past 2-3 seasons? I’m curious why they refuse to just run a QB sneak on the goal line a la Tom Brady.

To me, scoring from the 1 is about will. Is this the issue?

Thanks!

Hey guys! Why do you think the Broncos struggled so much on the deep crossing routes last week, and what will they do differently this week to limit the damage? Juju and Diontae thrive on those routes, and I’m hoping that Vic comes up with something. Also wanna give a big shout out to my guy Attaochu who looked absolutley awesome last week! I’m predicting a 4 sack game from the D with Attaochu getting at least one of them! Go Broncos, Go Nuggets
