In light of the Stearns INT and the mounting injuries I’m starting to see another positive aspect of Paton’s shotgun draft approach. The more guys that you draft not only gives you more chances to “hit,” but also can provide you with depth pieces that can help soften the blows of injury plagues. The late rd guys might not get second contracts, but if they are decent and can fit within your scheme, they can keep you in games that you may otherwise be destined to lose should your 2s and 3s be subpar.

I’ve been on the Teddy train since day 1, I love the guy, but…..I hope George Paton holds off on any contract extension, after seeing that green bay QB12 do his stuff, he has to be #1 on George’s 2022 plan, with this defence, Denver will be superbowl favourites next season.

so the patriots signed linebacker raekwon mcmillan to a one year extension yesterday. raekwon tore his acl in training camp and is out for the season, but belichick was very complimentary of him and they decided to extend him one a low-risk deal that’s essentially a prove-it deal for next year.

do y’all think this would be a good move for josey jewell? it’s to be determined if vic will be back next season, but josey was playing great in his defense and the original starting linebackers are both free agents. even if it’s something like a 1 year, $4 million for josey, are y’all ok with doing that?

I’m very happy with how we have started, but seen us caught out in the past. Cautiously optimistic. Chiefs can’t stop anyone, so if teams can slow them down offensively, the AFC West is going to be a big fight.

My boys! Building on my comment from yesterday, I’ll be flying in Saturday morning and I just got my tickets to the tailgate and party bus! Very excited for this weekend. I was thinking about getting a new jersey while I’m out there. Aside from my Von jersey, all my other ones are outdated. My question: should I go with the Goat and get a McManus jersey, go big with a Teddy jersey, or maybe another player? What do you think?

I really like the way Paton has moved so far this season to add depth off other teams practice squads. I thought the LB they signed off the Rams was a solid depth pickup, and now the addition of David Moore gives them a guy who has proven to be an offensive contributor with 13 scores over 3 years in Seattle. Do you guys think he can get up to speed and be a factor in 3 wide sets before Jerry comes back?

What do you think the chances are that the Raiders game in week 6 gets flexed to SNF? Current match up is Seattle at Pittsburg. Out of state travelers need to plan ahead.
