Gentlemen, greetings from the UK.
What chance George and Vic can have the kind of conversation where George says, “Vic, we’re going to bring in a new head coach but we would love for you to stay with the Broncos as our defensive coordinator.”
Does Vic’s professional pride allow him to take a very public demotion but which would, in all likelihood, work out for the best for him and for the team?
If he ends up leaving the Broncos, a DC job is the most likely next outcome for him anyway, so why not continue his excellent work here?
Wishing you and your families and all of the wider DNVR family a happy and healthy Christmas.

Thanks for the content guys. You all are the best.
So hyped for Sunday as I will be in the stands for my first live game. Win one for me.
Question for today what do each of you remember about your first NFL game? I was raised in a rural area about 2.5 from SLC and my dad would take us to
2-3 games a year growing up and while I have a lot of great memories with the Jazz growing up I don’t remember my first. I do have vivid memories of my first MLB game as it featured the only grand slam I have seen live by Larry Walker.
Thanks for the all the great content and hopefully game 2 will feature starting with the tailgate before Russell Wilson leads us to a win in Denver next year.

Although I really couldn’t care less about the Pro Bowl, it’s truly laughable to say Denzel Ward or Xavier Howard have had better years than PS2. Here’s to hoping the snub motivates the young man over the next 3 weeks and he earns an all pro nod.
Also was wondering at what point you guys will start to worry about Jerry Jeudy being labelled a bust? Does he need to play with a real QB before this is true?

Maybe even motivates him Sunday… Bet he picks off Carr or makes a couple great PBU’s 🙂

DNVR team, I wanted to say I had a great time at the tailgate, I am from Kansas and the experience I had was phenomenal!
Sunday, I was determined to purchase a new jersey since the departure of Von Miller but I was second guessing on which player to choose from, being that obviously if we are in the bid for a new QB what player on the current roster would no longer be on the roster. Has the Broncos been one of the most unmarketable teams this season? Only two primetime games and ZERO players elected to the Probowl? I do believe Justin Simmons is the current face of the Broncos being selected for WPMOY, captain of our team, and the most consistent player along with PS2, Melvin Gordon, and Javonte Williams .
The question is who would you be willing to give up and or if any draft picks would trade for the next QB for the 2022 season to be in that top tier of elite franchises once again.

Hello DNVR
Mase, In regards to my comment yesterday about undrafting a player the Broncos have picked, I think if the Broncos didn’t take Paxton, wouldn’t the whole offseason be talking about how the Broncos reached for Dak Prescott since he was picked in the 4th round? Not sure about what he was projected to go, any idea?
In my opinion, I think we should give Vic another year. I want to ask you guys a few questions about your opinions on coordinators but I think over the next few months you will cover that. Anyways, we are among these teams without a pro bowler: Giants, Jets, Jaguars, Texans and Lions. To me, it really says a lot about Vic Fangio. He guided this team to .500 and the best season since the year after the super bowl. WE’RE STILL RELEVANT IN WEEK 16!!!!! He really is turning it on as a defensive playcaller and I think that’s too valuable to turn away from with who the QBs are in our division.
Finally, do you think Drew getting a week of preparation will have an effect on him? Perhaps him not getting 1st team reps in the past weeks has proven detrimental to his play.
Thanks all,
Much love

Hey guys! I rewatched Sunday’s game and I have a couple of notes. First I think Noah Fant has been looking like his old self. The main reason I don’t think he tries to break tackles was because last year he dealt with minor injuries all season and they normally came from him always trying to get the extra yards. Second Sutton is also dealing with the after effects of his injury. I think it is healed but he is still afraid of re-injuring his knee. He hasn’t gotten vertical for those 50/50 balls this season. Hopefully by next season he has it figured out. Lastly the offense looked way better with Lock in. I still want to see a bigger sample size but all components of the offense was better. He did turn the ball over but he also put up more points than teddy. Also he made a couple of great anticipatory throws to Albert O which I expected more from teddy but haven’t really seen. Hot take of the week is a 2 TD game from Sutton. What are y’alls hot take?

Back of the pod question: what’s going on with Michael Ojemudia? What is the pecking order of the back end of the CB depth chart right now?

For all of the things that have made us all feel that Shurmur is an incompetent OC, doesn’t calling a zone read with your only healthy QB take the cake? Rypien wasn’t dressed. What happens if that dude buried Lock instead of went for the ball? I really like Kendall Hinton and what he has done with his limited reps at WR but we should never see him taking snaps in a game again. Shurmur putting the team in that position is the definition of incompetence. There is ZERO chance he returns as OC right?
Vic’s defense in year 3 finally seems to be operating just as he envisioned, which as has been discussed makes this head coaching decision for Paton extremely difficult. But if you are going to build a team trying to win games 20-17 with the defense as its strength, isn’t having a head coach that is locked in at managing a game and at situational football extremely important? These games are too close and we don’t score enough points to be making non-physical mistakes over and over again. Vic doesn’t have the head coaching skill to coach a team how he wants to win and that’s just a fact.

My boys! It’s been really hard to like this team but after the passing of DT, I’m going to try to appreciate it for what it is. I have a quick question. We keep constantly talking about how daddy is the best to be since Peyton Manning. While his numbers in my opinion are a bit deceiving, look at all the other positions. Wide receivers aren’t really getting the it seems like no one on the offense is enthusiastic about him being out there when they’re running their routes, and the team is still very much average. The team seemed so much more energetic when Drew lock came in during the last game. How valuable do you really believe he’s been?

Yesterday was a good day, I switched to Mint mobile and saved a bunch of money, and used that money to get some Breckenridge Christmas ales for this weekend, a win all the way around. Since I was winning, I set a few parlays for this weekend on DraftKings sportsbook, and that got me thinking, what would your parlay be for the next Owner-HC-QB for next year? A lot of moving parts, and that would be fun one to bet on. Also, I can’t believe there are only 3 games left in the regular season, regardless of how they do I am going to enjoy every minute the games, I know I will miss Bronco football once it is gone again. Thanks for making this season even more fun, appreciate all you guys do. Happy Holidays Y’all!
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
Owner-conglomerate with Peyton Manning as face of ownership, Vic as HC, Matt Nagy as OC, Russell wilson as QB gotta be the betting favorites.
TheChad
I would be all about that combination!

So if Drew balls out and wins against the raiders will Vic really turn back to teddy? Would teddy have a leash against the chargers and chiefs?

My boys Just no I love drew but even if he balls out no trade him that’s all peace love and chicken Grease I’m out
