Hearing from RK that Nic Casa-Bonitto is big on Twitter makes it all that much more depressing that I’m blocked by him for some reason. I didn’t know about it until the draft process. So sadly I was not able to join in the “switch to #11” fun.

On the Jersey topic, Henry mentioned during yesterday’s pod that he didn’t think John Elway wasn’t concerned about his jersey colors as he was running out onto the field for a game. However if memory serves correct, it was John who made the call when he played to not use the Navy tops on Navy pants look. Also under Elways GM tenure the team switched to Orange primary jerseys. So It could be argued that John is one of the biggest driving forces in Denver uniforms landscape.

My boys,

Short comment, Russ taking an under valued deal is Tom Brady like, money in the cap to pursue excellence, gotta love that…..
And my boys the Sydney Swans progressed to, as the US would call it, the divisional championship game, we call it a preliminary final, i am stoked! One win from the big dance.

People that always back in to parking spots. People that toss those floss things on the ground instead of into garbage cans. People with poor twitter game. Raider’s Fans. Chefs Fans. I forgive you. But I don’t have to love you, do I?

What’s a common in-game call that coaches make that drives you absolutely cray cray – not like River Craycraft, Cray Cray, but legit bonkers as a fan? Mine is the paradigmatic adherence that many coaches have to down and distance play calls.

MY BOYS!! I discovered your podcast a little over a year ago and I have been absolutely addicted ever since. I work for a natural gas company down in New Mexico (which our chili is better by the way sorry Ryan), and I drive for 5-6 hours a day and this podcast helps get me through each day. I’ve been a broncos fan my entire life even though my friends and family are Dallas fans. I even came home from the hospital in a Cowboys onesie, but I was the wise one of the family and decided to be a broncos fan from a young age because of the fact they won the super bowl the year I was born (1997). I just got tickets to my first Broncos game EVER for my girlfriend and I. We could not be more excited to witness the beat down we will be delivering to the raiders in week 11. Of course we wanted the full experience so I also just purchased our ALL IN bus and tail gate passes. We are so excited to meet you all and watch the game. I did see on the uniform schedule release that we will be color rush that week! Is a color rush game any different for the fans? Should I order color rush jerseys to wear to the game or just show up in out normal jersey? Sorry for the long comment I am just super excited! GO BRONCOS!!

BigHankStan, I must defend backing into parking spots! For those of us with larger vehicles, backing into parking spots is easier and therefore safer for all. All the other people you called out can be forgiven but probably only loved by their mothers.

Anyways, it’s good to see that Jonas Griffith is back at practice! My question for today: what are your guys’ predictions for Thursday Night’s opener? I’ll never forget the Broncos opening up against the Panthers and blasting Cam even further into the stratosphere the season after SB 50. What a fun game it was for Trev, CJ, and BMac! Let’s hope this year’s opener is just as entertaining.

Hey guys! I’m anxious to see what this offense is going to look like with the starters on the field. I’m stoked that the Shanahan offense is coming back with all the motions, run actions, and massive cutback lanes and deep shot opportunities with all the defensive overpursuit. We were promised that when Scangs came to town, but there really wasn’t much of that aside from, maybe, the most poorly conceived end-around of all time.

I do wonder if we’ll get a similar situation with Hackett. I have no doubts about his leadership/people management but up until this point he hasn’t really been a standout X’s and O’s guy, and it’s not guaranteed he will be one just because he’s coached under Matt LaFleur and is bringing back the Shanahan Offense.
